"What was that Mahir?"Jessica asked.

They all were standing behind me,while I was staring outside blankly.It's been a week since I'm roaming around with Suzie in front of Bella.

"From where did Suzie come?"Joe asked.

"I called her,to keep Bella away from me",I said.

"This is not done Mahir.You can't keep hurting her like this",Jessica said.

"Then what the fuck should I do?"I shouted throwing my coffee cup across the room,breaking it into pieces.

"Mahir..the fuck?"Ryan shouted.

"Then what am I supposed to do?I can't be near her,I can't protect her..and I can't keep seeing her like this daily",I shouted.

"Mahir..we gotta be with patience.Casper and Olivia are out for it,they will come back with a solution",Rose said.

"That is not the only solution Rose,all the supernatural creatures are behind her.I am supposed to save my mate and keep her safe.But what kind of pain we both are going through?I broke her heart.And to keep distance from her,I'm breaking her again and again",I said.

"Mahir we understand...",I cut Jessica off in middle.

"No Jessica..none of you...none you can understand it",I said pointing my fingers towards them all.

"You don't know the pain I am going through...the pain she is going through.I..I've been waiting for her since six years..and after I meet her..this is what happening?"my voice broke,tears brimming my eye's.

"Hey..Mahir",everyone came near me.

"Mahir..you can't break like this.What about Bella if you break like this?",Rose said helding my hand.

"How many more days like this?I can't stay away from her",I said.

"There's gotta be this one way",I said with anger.

I walked towards the dungeon under my house.I opened it and saw Zach lying unconscious.

I threw a bucket full of ice cold water on him,
"Time to get up..",I said pulling him out with me.

I threw him on the ground,
"Mahir..not now,this is not the way",Joe said.

"Not anymore Joe,I can't sit silently now",I said helding Zach's jaw.

"I'm giving you a last chance Zach,tell me where are others?And where are Vampires hiding in this city?"I asked.

"Tell me",I roared.

"I..I really don't know Mahir...I..I don't",he said.

"Don't test my patience Zach,just tell it to me",I shouted.

"I..I don't know",Zach said closing his eye's.

"Zach...Zach",Joe tapped on his cheek.

"Mahir..he's gone",Joe said.

I sighed closing my eye's,
"He's been starving since a week.What can we expect",Rose said.

"Call the boy's and tell them to take care of his body",I said and walked back to my room.

"I am sorry Bella...I know how much you love me...but I'm sorry for making you feel like this",I muffled a sob.

My room's door opened and everyone came in.

"Mahir",Jessica said sitting in front of me.

"At the beginning I hated you because I was scared for Bella.I thought you were a danger to her,but you are the one who can protect her.And I will do my everything to help you",she said.

"I told you about other witch craft books right?They are in my old house,in another city.I'll go and get them.We can find out a solution",she said.

"Yes Mahir,even I will go to my Gram's place,her place must be having any clues",Rose said.

"I am sorry for what I did to you earlier Jessica,I'm really sorry",I apologized to her.

"I don't mind that Mahir.I am doing what I was told,and in the process...I've found good friends like you",Jessica said.

"And your love too",Rose said wiggling her eyebrows.

Both Jessica and Ryan were blushing,which bought a smile on my face.

"I will leave tomorrow,it will probably take two to three days.I will be back soon Mahir",Jessica said.

"You are not going alone",Ryan said.

"What?"Jessica asked.

"Yes Jessica,you are not going alone.Ryan will come along with you.There are vampires out there,I can't risk your life too",I said.

"No Mahir,they wouldn't be behind me",Jessica said.

"No Jessica,you are wrong.They will be in a need of a witch too,and I can't put you in their hands for you to get tortured.Nope,so Ryan will be coming along with you",I said and she nodded.

"I need to meet Mrs.Hamilton once",I said.

"But..why?"everyone asked.

I was standing in front of Bella's door,taking deep breathes I ringed the calling bell.

The door opened and it was Mrs.Hamilton,
"Mr.Davisson?"she asked.

"Hello Mrs.Hamilton",I gave a smile.

"Hello..first get in,it's freezing outside",she said giving me way.

I removed my coat and boots,looking around,
"Don't worry,Bella isn't home",she said and I lowered my eye's.

"Coffee or hot chocolate?"she asked.

"I'm fine with a coffee Mrs.Hamilton",I said.

"OK,I'll be back in a minute",she said and went inside the kitchen.

I looked around and saw some pictures of her's along with her family.Bella was not there in any pictures.

"Bella isn't there in any of the pictures.Because it has to be like that",Mrs.Hamilton came giving me the coffee.

Her memories are erased,but her alertness towards protecting Bella didn't stop.

"Why should it be like that Mrs.Hamilton?"I asked sipping my coffee.

She looked at me for a moment and blinked,
"I don't know child",she said.

True,she doesn't remember anything.

"Mahir..you know that Bella loves you right?"she asked and I nodded.

"I know you must be having your reasons to not love her back..but I just want to say one thing,she became a better person after meeting you",Mrs.Hamilton said.

My heart swelled after listening to this.

"I don't know how longer I will be alive like this,she doesn't have anyone other than me",Mrs.Hamilton said.

"Anyways..you have any work with me?"she asked.

"Um no..I mean..yes..actually",I looked around.

"I just came to ask..how is Bella doing and is she...is she alright?"I asked.

"Don't beat around the bush Mahir,what do you want to know?"she asked.

"Did you feel anything suspicious around this house?Any danger against Bella?"I asked.

She looked at me for a while,
"No Mahir..not any such",she said.

Because I'm going on a hunt for the next two days.I won't be here and I'm worried about Bella.

"I never observed anything like that Mahir.Why?Is there any problem?"she asked.

"Um..no..nothing Mrs.Hamilton",I said.

"I just want you to be careful Mrs.Hamilton.Don't allow any strangers to get inside the house and Bella also...tell her to be careful",I said.

"You have to tell me Mahir,what is going around?"she asked.

"Nothing Mrs.Hamilton..just nowadays..the city deaths and all..and Bella being a stubborn...you know",I said and she nodded smiling.

"Just be safe and tell her to not go around,she wouldn't listen to me",I said.

"She is very stubborn Mahir,I agree.But in some matters,she breaks a lot...she doesn't seem that strong as she looks.Whatever you have..just sort it out with her",she said.

"She still thinks that..you love her",Mrs.Hamilton said.

"I d....yeah..I mean..yeah I know.I'll talk to her",I said.

"I'll take your leave now Mrs.Hamilton.See you again",I said standing up.

I wore my jacket and boots,I opened the door to leave and paused.It was Bella!

She held her bag straps tight,looking at me with love,anger and pain.

Tears glistening in her eye's,
"Gram's...what is he doing here?"she asked.

"He just came up for a college work Bella",Mrs.Hamilton said.

"Bella I just want to...
"Get out from here",she said.

I sighed closing my eye's.I stepped out and turned around smiling at Mrs.Hamilton,she smiled back and went in closing the door.

"Bella..you should hear me out,be safe and don't go near the lake in the next two days",I said.

"Don't advice me all this Mahir,you don't have any right",she said.

Her eye's welled up,
"Bella..don't cry..please",I said stepping close to her.

"No Mahir..you won't understand.You will never understand my feelings..and how you are hurting me",she cried wiping her tears.

"And I know..this is not you Mahir.You wouldn't do this to me..I know that",she said stepping close to me.

"No Bella..you are taking me in a wrong way",I said and now she looked angry.

She fisted her hand and landed a punch on my face!

BELLA HAMILTON

Mustering up all the anger,I punched him across his face,
"Shh...ahh...",I groaned helding my fists.

I punched him but my fists is paining,he is damn strong.

"Don't hurt yourself for me Bella",Mahir said coming near me.

"Ahh...fuck",I groaned in pain.

"Let me see",he said helding my hand.

"Why are you doing this to me Mahir?What have I done to go through so much pain?"I cried when he was soothing my hand.

"Your mistake was...loving me,Bella",he said and I pulled my hand back.

I held his collar and looked at him,
"Look into my eye's and say that Mahir",I said.

He stared at me and averted his gaze,
"Yes Bella...I..I never loved you",Mahir said.

"You are lying again",I cried slapping across his face.

"You are a fucking lier Mahir Davisson",I kept slapping him,breaking down in his arm's.

"I never loved anyone to this extent Mahir...why are you doing this to me?"I cried resting my head on his chest.

He didn't wrap his hands around me as he used to do.

I pulled back and wiped my tears,
"Mahir..if there is any problem with me..tell me.We both can solve it out..just tell me..but don't leave me.I can't live without you Mahir",I sobbed.

He removed my hands from his face,
"We both cannot solve this problem Bella...I am sorry to hurt you.Maybe I am not the right person for you",he said and my lips parted.

He turned around and started walking away,exiting the front porch.He paused when I held his hand.

He looked at our hands and looked at me,
"I don't wanna let go...I know I'm not that strong",I sobbed.

"You are strong enough Bella",he said removing my hand from his.

He started walking away,breaking my heart again and again.

"Mahirrr.....",I shouted for him,but he didn't turn back.

"Mahirrr....",I shouted again,covering my mouth to muffle my sobs.

He disappeared into to the woods leaving me all alone.

"Don't go Mahir...don't go",I cried slumping on the floor.

I got up and went inside,ran straight to my room.Locked myself in my room,sitting against the door and lying on the floor when I break through.

"Don't go Mahir..don't leave me",I cried closing my eye's.

"Bella...Bella are you up?"I woke up with loud bangs on my door.

"Shh..",I hissed when my neck had a cramp.

I woke up from the cold floor and stretched my body.I opened the door.Gram's,Rose and Jessica were standing.

"Bella..what happened to you?"Gram's asked helding my face.

"Nothing Gram's..I just overslept",I said helding my head.

"Get freshed,I'll make a coffee for you three",Gram's said and I looked at Rose and Jessica.

I went and sat on a chair helding my head in my hand's,
"Jess..turn on the heater..I'm feeling cold",I said rubbing my arm's.

She turned on the heater and both were looking at me,
"I'll just come",I said going into the washroom.

I did my morning routine and came out,both were sipping coffee's silently.I took my coffee and sat on the bed.

"Why are you both looking at me like that?"I asked.

"Did you look at yourself?What you are doing to yourself?"Rose asked and I rolled my eye's.

"I am not doing anything..I'm fine",I said sipping my coffee.

"Bella...",I stopped them showing my hand.

"I spoke to Mahir yesterday,we cleared it out.He is out of my life and I am out of his life.It's over",I said.

"Don't look at me like that guy's,I am alright.Why did you guy's come in this early morning?"I asked.

"Yeah that,actually I need to go to my hometown today",Jessica said.

"Why suddenly Jess?Is everything alright?"I asked.

"Yeah,everything is alright.I need to take my uncle for a last check up over there.So I will be going out for three days",Jessica said.

"Oh OK...but come soon Jess,I will miss you",I said and she smiled nodding.

"And Bella..even Mahir and all are going somewhere..I mean Joe and all are going for a hike or something.They will come back after four days,and I am going to my Gram's old house to get some things",Rose said.

"Why are everyone leaving suddenly?"I asked,and they both looked at each other.

"Um..it's just a coincidence I think",Rose laughed and I gave a fake smile.

Something is definitely fishy!

"But Rose..why are you going to your Gram's place?You said she is no more",I asked.

"Yeah she is no more,but her things are still over there.I need to go and get them,mom and dad asked me to.They said it's important,so I have to go",Rose said.

"When will you be back Rose?How am I supposed to be alone like this without anyone of you?"I asked.

"Hey..",both Rose and Jessica came and sat beside me.

"Bella I will be back in a day,it's very near from here.I won't go anywhere leaving you",Rose said taking me in a side hug.

"And I will try to come as soon as possible for you babe",Jessica said,also hugging me.

I smiled and hugged both of them,
"I'll miss you both,you are my only friends here",I said.

"We are always with you,we will do anything for you Bella",Rose said.

Rose is a very good friend of Mahir.I can't ask her about this and spoil her friendship with Mahir.And I don't want a third person to get involved in between us.

"I will be waiting for you guy's",I said and they both nodded.

"But why all these plans all of a sudden?Everyone leaving the town at a time?"I asked.

"Um..we are having winter break holidays from today right..so maybe that's why everyone planned it out",Rose said.

"And by the way where is Mahir and...I mean Joe and his friends are going?"I asked her.

"They said they would go up to a mountain for hiking",Rose said.

"Hiking?In this heavy snowfall?"I asked.

"That hike can be done during snowfall,they go every year,relax",Rose said.

"That is the mountain where snowflakes could be seen",Rose said.

"I even caught some snowflakes near our college too",I said confused.

Rose looked at Jessica,
"Oh..oh..yeah..yeah..sometimes it's seen even near our college.Only lucky people like you can see it",Rose said and we both laughed.

"When are you both leaving?"I asked.

"We will be leaving now,came to inform you",Jessica said.

"Come soon,I'll miss you guy's",I said taking them both in a hug.

They both said their good bye's and left.I got freshed and dressed up.

"Gram's I need to go to library",I said wearing my jacket.

"Bella first have some food.You didn't eat anything since yesterday",Gram's said.

"I am sorry Gram's,I'll return this book and come quickly.I won't skip any meals from now,I promise",I said kissing her and left my home.

I drove to the library and went upstairs to return the book,
"Hey Brada",I said signing on the sheet.

"Hey Bella,good to see you again",he said.

"How was the book?"Brada asked.

"It was wonderful,a prince trying to protect his princess is just...",I paused.

"Um..Brada...can I once go through the fifth rack?"I asked.

"Yes of course,go ahead",he said and I smiled.

I went up to the fifth rack and searched.I took out the first book which Mahir picked up that day,
"The Age Of Innocence",I read out the name.

I searched for another book which he picked out,
"Silent Love".

And the book I just returned,'The Princess Bride'.

Is Mahir trying to tell me something?

Is he hinting me something?

I read the summary of both the books.I didn't feel any suspicious and anything like a hint.

I took out my note pad and noted down these three books names.

I exited the library and went to the lake.I know I am silly,even after getting attacked here for twice,I am not able to get detached from this place.

I sat against a tree and kept looking at these books names,
"What are you trying to tell me Mahir?"I wondered.

'The Age Of Innocence'

'Silent Love'

'The Princess Bride'

Is Mahir telling me that?

That,I am innocent.Not knowing what is happening around me.

Since day one I felt like this,always something very suspicious around me.

The animal attacks,those wolf's never tried to kill me inspite of being right in front of them.

And Gram's always warning me to wear this moon star pendant.I touched and caressed it.

And suddenly,Rose and Jessica getting along with each other so well?

That cut on my palm on Mahir's birthday,coming across another werewolf on the same day,deaths stopped in city from last three full moon days.

I found all these suspicious,but no one would believe me if I say this.They will think I am crazy.

'Silent Love'

His love towards me,he broke my heart.Lying on my face that he doesn't love me,but still coming around and looking out for me.

This is his silent love?

Because I know,he loves me.All those moments we both shared,they do mean something to him.But he is keeping me away.

What is 'The Princess Bride' now?
