I was doing my meditation when I heard someone enter my chambers. 

" Mistress, Lord Adrian has asked you to come to his chambers immediately" One of the guard told me.

" What happened is it him who got hurt? Then tell him I can't help him. My power will not heal him" I replied monotonously.

"No Mistress.. it's not him but one of the human he brought" He replied.

" Whaaaat?? He brought a human here. What does he think he is doing?? Is it not enough that he ruling them without their knowledge?? feeding from them when they are not aware??"

The guard infront of me did not answer for he knew I hate their Lord but he also respects me since I saved his life twice earlier.

" Ok show me the way" I said.

Soon by running through the array of hallways I came to the chamber where he brought this human.

When I entered I did not expect he will keep a human in a good place but when my gaze fixated on the bed I saw a lovely maiden on his bed. Realization hit me he brought this human to treat her like his personal slave. I felt bad for her, I cannot imagine how many tortures she would have to undergo till she is dead and dead she will be until he is fed up with her.

I quickly went to her and started chanting my spells and soon my healing power took over and she was healing. I heard her mumbling in her unconscious state. I touched her forehead I could feel she was seeing nightmares.

I kept my palm on her forehead and chanted some peace offering spells and she started relaxing. I waited her to sleep soundly and then I waited for her to come in her senses. I prolonged my visit to this chamber knowing too well that Adrian won't come near her if he knows I am here. He knows I don't want him near me if he wants my healing power to work. It takes lot of toll on me whenever I see him since his dark and destructive powers absorb mine and I loose my healing powers and I become unconscious and will be near death and he doesn't want to loose me since he needs me for his minions.

I was lost in my thoughts when I heard her stirring and then she asked for water. I gave her water with spoon since she was still delirious. She again went back to her unconscious state. I had to check her from time to time until i was sure she will recover now.

I looked out of window and after getting tired of the view I sat down near her bed and I don't I too drifted to sleep. I came to my senses in morning. I understand my healing her has taken toll on my body and that's why I too lost my consciousness. but i am expecting her to awake now. I tell the guard outside her chamber to bring me my maid.

Not long after my maid comes and I ask her to keep a watch on the human and left to my chambers to refresh myself. After sometime I come back and observe her still she is unconscious. I am now wondering did my healing powers really are healing her. I guess that Monster has really put her into hell lot of a shock and her body is rejecting my healing powers.

Again I heard stirring I fed her with water and some liquid soup in her delirious state. I again saw no hope of her coming to her senses. I was guessing it will be a second long night.

I drifted to sleep on the couch near her bed. I woke up in the morning. Then refreshed myself quickly and checked her. She was getting healed and now I was expecting her to be conscious any moment.

I heard her stirring in the bed long before she spoke 

" Where am I?"

" You are in Lord Adrian's palace dear. You lost your consciousness in bathroom. Hope you remember"

As soon as I mentioned that she started shivering. I hugged her and said in a soothing voice " Don't be alarmed he would not be able to do anything to you. Don't be afraid"

She started crying and I rocked her back soon she calmed and drifted to sleep. I knew that she will be in trauma for a while and Adrian has to stay away from her if he really cares for her. But from what I have know him he cares for no one. He is the most cruel and vile creature known.
