And the thing that I was worried about was that the Demon King wanted to claim her as his and in the state she is in she would not object and if the council orders her to be with him I would not be able to do anything by rules and would have to go for a war... a war against elders. I have to get her out of this state because Demon King feeds on fear and weakness and right now she is too vulnerable to handle any of that stuff. And even though war might be on.. she won't be safer like she is now.

I just could not believe that she is no more here. I feel empty like only my body is here but soul is gone. I have searched each and every nook and corner of the damn city and she is nowhere. I don't know how she just disappeared. I feel guilty had I listened to her, may be she would have been here. There is no trace where she vanished. No one has seen her and I am clueless. 

I drowned myself in alcohol and soon I lost consciousness.

Demon King's POV

I was walking in the dark alleys to get some food and a new host for my demon. I was waiting and then I saw a black figure brought a human and hit his jaw. Though the human tried defending back I knew he won't win for I knew the black figure was a supernatural. It doesn't take long for me to recognize and i didn't wanted to come out of my hiding place seeing as I was as pathetic as this human.

I waited for the supernatural to finish him so I can have some food as I was right now inside a dead human and blood was the only thing that i wanted was to get a new host so I can start living  new life.

Yes I am demon and I need  a host to survive and now you would want to know why I need  a host when I am the Demon King. Guess what I pissed off the members of council and disrespected them and they cursed me to live in this human realm without my powers as a demon King and so I need to feed off human blood and I need a new host every fifteen days as I use only dead humans as it is less risk of being exposed and it works great without any emotional drama from these humans. 

And the last I had a new host was 25 days back and now I needed one urgently and I needed blood too. When I saw the supernatural left the human I crawled to him and licked all the blood and It was enough for me to go on when I realized that I can help this human to live and I can get a new host and I can use his live body to be in and feed off other humans.

I chanted my mantra and possessed him and I woke up and saw that the body of human has healed and I wanted to get out of this ally before any of his friends see me but my luck when I heard a female voice called out to him "Jace... where are you going? We were searching for you inside and didn't find you so I came to see if you are alright" She said.

I stopped in my stride and turned to look at her when suddenly I heard this musical voice "Jace... oh my god Jace you are hurt" A girl ran to me with lot of emotions love, care, worry and I stood spell bound she was beautiful and the love and care dripping from her eyes had me frozen in my spot. Her eyes showed her emotions and it remind of my dilectus (Beloved). 

I had lost her long time ago and when I saw this girl, something in my heart was awaken, she reminds me of her. I let her take me to her car and drive to her home. All the while I just stared at my beautiful girl and she kept driving knowing this human was in pain.

I just shook my head and when we arrived at her home she cleaned up my wounds or should I say this human host's wounds which I knew would heal now as I did my magic but since she wanted to take care of him I let her and stopped the healing.

"Jace.. I am sorry I should have said something... " She said with tears rolling out of her eyes... beautiful sea deep eyes and I stared at her lost in her eyes " but you got me shocked.. you see I knew you planned a great thing but I thought it was for my birthday... I...I never expected you would propose" She said smiling in tears and I smiled at her  and she continued looking at me "and I feel stupid not able to react sooner but by the time I recovered from the shock of it I saw you going out of the hotel. I tried to find you but when I did you were hurt like this. Jace.. I am so sorry this happened to you" She said with her glassy eyes.

"It's ok love.. Please don't cry " I said as I could not see my girl crying while caressing her face.

"No Jace.. I didn't know what to say at that time. Please Jace.. please forgive me... You know I love you... please forgive me" She said as more tears rolled out of her eyes.

"You don't need to feel sad love. You see I am ok" I was cut off by another girl whom I came to know was her cousin.

"Elisa.. you know Jace loves you so please our emotional queen stop crying and do the right thing by accepting to marry him" She said.

"Please Smara.. could you please let me and Jace talk in private" She begged and her cousin left smiling.

"Look Elisa... " I was about to say

"Elisa??... you never call me that. Are you still angry?" She asked.

"No "  I said wanting to know what this idiot calls her.

"You always call me Lee Jace" She pouted. I liked the way her plump lips looked more delectable.

"Lee... will you marry me" I asked her.

"Yes I will Jace Westerman I will marry you" She said.

I was bit annoyed that she accepted this human but I knew if I want to have her then I would have to be inside this human and act like him.

"You make me the happiest man in the world amica mea" I said.

"Ah... Jace what is Amica Mea" She asked frowning.

I smiled and said "My love" She kept looking at my face. "It means my love Lee" She blushed and look down and I could not feel anything but content to see her reaction. 

"In which language" She asked curious.

"In latin my dear" I replied amused.

"But Jace you never told me that you knew latin" She asked.

"Well I am full of surprises Amica Mea" She just laughed her musical laugh 

"But Jace can you tell me who hurt you this bad" She asked.

"Well love since I thought you are rejecting me I was upset and walked to cool myself off and I didn't realize  I was in an alley and my bad luck wrong people were there and tried to mugged me but I defended myself so they left and as I was coming out you saw me". I made up a story.

"Please Jace promise you would never risk yourself like that again" She asked

 Her care filled me with so many emotions--- possessiveness being the strongest and I knew for sure I was going to make this innocent human mine soon.   

From that day onward I made sure she was always infront of my eyes but soon she started noticing and told me that I was acting weird and she asked for space and I controlled my possessive streak and let her be. 

I would make sure to take her on dates as humans do and I will always bring gifts for her. Which she commented that Jace never used to earlier. 

I would have kicked Jace if I had my demon body back because he was rich and still he never gifted her. She deserved most expensive gifts. In daytime I would let Jace do the thinking while I implemented his ideas at night. I scanned through his brain and knew each moment he spent with her.

I was glad she never let him touch her beyond the hug. Not even a kiss on lips. The only time  he kissed her was when he kissed her forehead or cheek. I loved it that Amica Mea didn't let a male touch her in intimate ways before marriage .

3 months passed in blur with me enjoying the little touches here and there. And I was waiting for 9 months to pass so I can claim her and take her to my kingdom.  I was happy that after so many years or should I say centuries I felt emotion and that too something which was not dark. I was loving the feeling of being wanted, feeling of someone waiting for me like she did. She was too innocent for me but I was going to make her mine no matter what till then all I had to do was wait and control my lust.

One day I went to Lee at her home and when she opened the door I was shocked to see eye bags under her eyes. I asked her  she said she could not sleep last night as she continuously heard someone calling her name and asked her to come to the backyard. I tried relaxing her and told her probably it was a nightmare.

I was sure if it had been a supernatural I would have felt something which I didn't. She was angry when she felt that I didn't believe her and said "You don't believe me Jace. I know I can see it in your eyes..You think I am going crazy" She starting crying.

It broke my heart to see her crying and that too because of me. I pulled her to me and rubbed my hands to sooth her and when she composed she pushed herself and said "Jace I think we should break up".

I stiffened when she said that I controlled my anger and thought what would have a human boyfriend threatened her and said "Elissa Rose Cohen if I heard about us breaking up again. I will make sure to tie you up and hide you from the world". I knew if she knew what I meant by my threat she would run in another direction.

She smiled and said "sorry".

It filled my heart with joy that she would not break up with me or should I say Jace. I was happy that she will stay engaged to Jace because Jace was the only way to keep her close and make her mine willingly without hurting her.

 Like this 6 months passed and 3 more to go and I would be able to claim my prize. I had to be patient with her. It took lot of self control to be beside her and inhaling her sweet rose smell and not do anything sexual to her. I would have if I knew she would let me but I didn't want to touch her while I am in Jace body I would claim her as mine when I am back in my Warrior form and then she will be all mine.

I continued my visits and taking her to dates. She worked late nights so most of her time was being spend with Jace and not me. But it was OK because I knew Jace wanted to wait till their marriage.

It was her off and I went to meet her like usual and found that she was nowhere to be found and then I called her cousin Smara to know her whereabouts but when she rushed home clueless I got worried. I let Jace take control and then I knew he checked each and every nook and corner and he checked hospitals, morgue and what not but could not find her. He was broken and he drowned himself in his sorrow and started drinking alcohol and passed out. But seeing him passed out I took control and again I begin my search and when I didn't find anything I went back to her home and Smara opened the door. 

She kept food on the table which we both ate silently and to her backyard where she complained she saw somebody but there was no trace. Like this search has been going on and One month passed and now I am feeling its not human and its somebody from supernatural world who has taken her. I knew she was special but I never guessed that someone else also was keeping an eye on her.

I was lost and then I felt that I could not go longer without her touch without her presence. I went to her room and slept there to calm my demon who was missing her presence, somehow she calms my demon I think even he is in love with her. Smara came and tried to wake me up and when she touched me I could not control my lust. I was a demon and I had lost touch with my love and when I saw a female lust overtook me and my demon lost control and I pulled her to me. She was shocked at first and even tried to push me. But when I ripped her clothes and entered her she gave away the fight and lay there and I kept going till I was sated.

When I came back to my senses I realized that I have betrayed lee. I cursed my demon because he feed off blood,fear, lust and it found all in Smara last night. She was afraid,and it fulfilled its share by having her blood, forced sex. I would have said it was a mistake but no it did not happen just once but four times. 

I knew I have two months to wait before I will be in my power and the fact that I did that to Smara my love's cousin was not sitting well with me. Had it been any other female I would have gotten rid of her. But for Elissa I have to keep her alive.

When Smara awoke from her unconsciousness state she realized her state and her eyes were full of fear and questioning me what I did and why. I could not meet her eyes and she took this opportunity to leave the room and locked herself in her room.

I let her be but then my demon pushed the thought that I hook up Jace with her then Elissa will have no one so I knocked her door which she refused to open. I broke the door and pulled her to me when I saw she was trying to kill herself.

 I saved her and then I  cupped her face and asked "Smara you were trying to kill yourself" I asked. 

She tried pushing my hands but I held her with strong grip 

"leave me you brute. It's great that Lisa is not here to know what kind of double faced man you are" She spat.

Even though I was angry I tried controlled myself and then I saw her she was naked and my demon was going out of control.

I lift her and threw her on her bed and jumped on her.

"Leave me..let go" she shouted.

I entered her with force and whispered "Smara you will not say a word about this to Lisa and you will continue to warm my bed till I get her back.This is going to stay between you and me. Do you get that?".

She flinched at my deadly tone but nodded and then I said "Kiss me then slave" and she did. My demon had hypnotised her and now she was my slave. I had lost my love but I had made sure that I will have comfortable 2 months stay in human realm feeding from her and satisfying my demon. 

I will leave Jace to take care of Smara after 2 months and this definitely will leave Elissa to choose me as she will see Jace has betrayed her with her cousin and she would have nowhere to go. I smiled at this thought.
