You see, the circus had sort of... disbanded, if you will. My father's apprentice, Phillip Carlyle, was originally running it but stopped due to some problems. No one stood up to take over being ringmaster and/or ringmistress so the circus slowly slipped away into the land of the forgotten fun, that's where me and my father come back in. Once we got word from Lettie that the circus was finished; that Phillip and Anne Wheeler, Mr. Phillip Carlyle's wife, had left we had no choice but to step in and become ringmaster and ringmistress again. Slowly, the circus became known again.
