~Natsu's Pov~ 

Zancrow was a little far in front of me on his knees throwing up blood onto the ground. My hands were claws made of dark red flames as I was walking over to him. "You made a mistake, there a reason I am her guard" I spoke grabbing his hair pulling him upwards to look toward me. Fear in his eyes as my voice was demonic. "You threatened someone I care for more than life itself, don't think you can get away with your life" I spoke as his eyes widen. I was about to end him off, finally killing this bastard.

Before I was able to do a so a golden shield came flying over as it went over me but yet sent Zancrow flying out the town. I knew this magic. I started running toward the guild hall my E.N.D magic vanishing off me, leaving me to look human again. I kept running until I saw Mira holding Lucy in a motherly hold. I was slightly out of breath as Gray and Gramps looked slightly hurt as Lisanna was cheering that Lucy did it. Lucy turned around getting out of Mira's hold seeing me as she smiled. I walked over pulling her into a hug.

"You didn't push yourself did you?" I asked worried as Lucy shook her head hugging back as I let out a sigh of relief. I soon notice her passing out as then shook my head smiling. Lair. I picked her up in a bridal hold as she snuggled into me, smiling in her sleep. "Kawaii!" Mira and Lisanna both sang smirking toward me as I felt my face burn up as Gray walked over. "Just how powerful is she?" he asked as Gramps walked over his eyes closed. "More than any of you could imagine" I answered looking toward Lucy.

She looked so peaceful. Soon other members of the guild were returning some hurt, most covered in dirt and dust from the battles or helping the people of the town. "LUCY KICKED THEM OUT OF TOWN" Mira and Lisanna shouted getting some of the guild to cheer as Erza was walking over in her Japanese Cloth Armor. It was her most powerful armor but not giving her any limits like her other armors. "Alright brats get rebuilding the guild hall" Gramps soon snapped as the cheering stopped and everyone listened as Gramps was in front of me.

"Take her home and let her rest" Gramps spoke as I nodded walking ahead as I heard him order Erza and Mira to come with me to help set up the house fully. While walking to the house Lucy woken up slightly yawning. "Go back to sleep, you are going to need it" I whispered as Lucy smiled half asleep rubbing her left eye. "Did the spell fully work?" Lucy asked quietly as I nodded. She let out a sigh or relief. "Hades will tell Zeref" Lucy soon whispered knowing I was able to hear with my Dragon Slayer hearing.

"Fairy Tail can handle him, plus they now have us to help" I spoke as Lucy nodded yawning again slowly falling back asleep as Mira came to my side. "How long you been crushing on her?" Mira asked as my face burnt up in seconds as Erza was at my other side smirking. I was unable to answer as Mira clapped her hands fast and excited. "I ship it" Mira son spoke as we got to my old house. We got inside to see the place was still clean. I headed to the room I got ready for Lucy so many years ago.

It was still fine. I headed to the bed placing Lucy down on it. I couldn't help but smile toward her. She was sleeping peacefully with a slight smile on her face. Mira was right. As much as I hated the fact she and Erza knew she was right. I took a quick breath and headed downstairs to see Mira writing a shopping list. "Natsu we are taking Lucy clothes shopping soon as she wakes up and you will be doing the food shopping understood?" Mira asked as I knew Lucy would of been safe with these two. Fairy Tail's most powerful.

"Fine just keep her safe" I replied as Mira was up in my face smirking. "You want her to yourself don't you?" she asked as my face was burning up once more. "Mira stop teasing the poor guy" Erza spoke as Mira giggle winking toward me walking over to Erza hugging her arm. "Hurt her and we will hunt you down Natsu" Mira spoke sweetly as I knew she meant her words. I sweat dropped slightly knowing she would hunt me down. I would never hurt Lucy. I would of rather die than hurt her in any way.

"Wendy, Carla, Lily and Happy should be back home from their job later. I am so glad little Wendy didn't have to fight today" Mira soon spoke as that explained why everything was clean. Happy. My old team member. The one person who would have the keys to this place and be able to keep it clean to where I would remember. "You know Happy always said you would come back to us" Erza spoke her eyes closed smiling as I chuckled sitting down on the couch. Happy and I were very close.

"I missed him and all of you but I understand you all hate me" I spoke closing my eyes to feel hands on my shoulders. "You didn't know Zeref would attack with full force so I don't hate or blame you" I heard Mira's voice making me smile. I was glad to hear them words. I was really happy. Soon my eyes shot open able to hear Lucy yelp quietly. The girls looked confused as I rushed to her room in a second to see her tossing and turning in her sleep, her wings showing as I went over pretty fast grabbing her hand.

"I'm here, nothing is going to hurt you" I whispered as she was starting to calm, her tossing stopping as she turned to face me. She was slowly calming down as her wings were still out. I turned my head to see Mira and Erza. "You can sense when she needs you?" Mira asked as I nodded. "A spell my brother set up years ago" I explained as the two girls nodded as I was to move my hand until Lucy's grip on it tightened. I smiled sitting on the bed as Mira and Erza left.
