~Lucy's Pov Still~ 

So many days past since the ball. Natsu and I would see each other at the weekends when I didn't have classes as he would always come back saying how the guild wanted to see me. He explained everything to them and they believed him. I didn't think that would happen but that was when I found out my story of going back in time was known through out the whole world. Everyone knew I saved them from giving up my own life in a way. I befriended Angels who came to the castle as I was in the library catching up on work while on a break.

That was when I heard humming. My head turned to see a unknown looking at the books. Before I could say something the butler called Lyon came into the room. He walked through the unknown as I nearly went pale. "Princess is everything alright?" he asked raising an eyebrow as I shook my head. "Nothing just a thought about the next lesson really" I answered with a laugh as Lyon chuckled he was my guard and butler. I didn't really need one but me and him were good friends. The unknown turned around showing themselves to be a very young girl.

Angel wings in her hair as I stared at her for a second as her eyes widen. She looked as if she was about to speak until Lyon asked if I really was ok. It made me look away from her at him. "I think I need some quiet time, my head is starting to hurt "I soon lied as Lyon looked worried. "I will get some tea for you!" he spoke rushing out the room as I laughed. He was strange Lyon. I then looked at the unknown again. "You can see me?" she asked as I nodded. She looked more shock her eyes watering. "How come Lyon couldn't?" I soon asked.

"I am a spirit no one has been able to see or hear me for the last three-hundred years" she answered as Ophiuchus showed up walking behind me, hugging me from behind. "The spirit you see if Zeref's old lover, Mavis" Ophiuchus informed me as my eyes widen. Zeref once told me stories about his lover. How she died to save the world. She was a High Priestess Angel. I was in pure shock. "Maybe you are the one I have been waiting for" Mavis spoke walking over to me grabbing my hands.

She smiled brightly tears building up in her eyes. "I been waiting so long for someone to come help me come home" she spoke nearly in tears as I moved my knees on the ground as I ended up hugging her. In doing so I was out the hug Ophiuchus had on me as I heard her chuckle. Mavis was in utter shock. "What do I have to do?" I asked pulling away smiling toward her as tears started to fall down her face. "If her spirit is here it means her body has to be close by" Ophiuchus soon informed me.

"I need someone to break my body free from a crystal but in doing so they must kill my spirit self in front of that crystal" Mavis soon informed me as I was in shock about the way to free her. Kill her? I wouldn't be the first time I would kill someone but she looked so nice and looked like a child. "Where is your body?" I asked as Mavis rubbed the back of her neck. "High Priestess tombs" she answered as I went pale. I heard about that place only people who are or are soon to be High Priestesses could open the door.

There was no High Priestesses left. "Lucy you can see, hear and touch me. I believe the gates will open for you" Mavis spoke as she looked and sounded so sure. I rubbed the back of my neck turning my head to face Ophiuchus who had her arms crossed. "I say why not try it but we would have to skip the dance lesson" Ophiuchus spoke as I nodded smirking as Mavis lead the way to outside and up a huge amount of stairs. Once up to the top there was a huge golden gate. No one was around. Must of been the place.

It was abandoned long ago. "How do we test to see if Lucy can open it?" Ophiuchus asked as Mavis walked through the gate as if it was nothing. "Just walk" she answered winking as Ophiuchus was able to walk through as she was a spirit. I took a deep breath closing my eyes walking forward. It didn't feel as if I bumped into anything. I opened my eyes to see I had gone through the gate as Mavis was jumping and clapping excited. "I knew you was special" she spoke smiling brightly looking like a child. 

"Lets hurry before mother tries to find me" I then spoke as Mavis ran ahead. Ophiuchus and I followed not far behind. We went into a golden temple to see a giant crystal with a naked body of Mavis inside. "Why dose your body not have clothes on?" Ophiuchus soon asked loudly and upset as Mavis giggled. "My clothes have been my magic so I never have to wash or struggle to change" Mavis answered as I moved in front of the crystal feeling a spiritual energy around it. "You can sense my magic from inside the crystal" Mavis spoke sounding shocked.

I turned my head. "Lets free you" I then spoke as Mavis nodded as Ophiuchus came to my side smirking. "Want me to do it?" she asked as I turned my head to the crystal. "We both will" I spoke as I summoned my Virgo Whip. Ophiuchus smirked rushing toward Mavis's spirit as I turned my head back as Ophiuchus badly hurt her with many spells at once sending her into the air. She was badly bruised and covered in dust. I moved my whip fast it glowing blue with yellow lightening show around it as I cut Mavis in half.

Her spirit vanished as Ophiuchus and I turned looking at the crystal as he broke smashing itself as Mavis fell forwards. I moved fast catching her as the top of her head was bleeding. I soon healed it as Mavis was waking up. Her outfit showing over her body as she looked me. "Thank you" she spoke hugging me looked tired. "Ready a room for Mavis" I turned my head to Ophiuchus who nodded and vanished. I got up carrying her as I headed back to the castle. My mother and guards were staring at me in utter shock.

"Sorry I went missing on you but she came first" I spoke as Mavis turned my head smiling toward everyone tears going down her face. "I'm home!" she nearly shouted as my mother covered her mouth, her eyes watering as many were cheering 'Priestess Mavis Has Returned' as it was soon spreading around like wild fire.
