~Natsu's Pov~ 

Zeref dragged me to his room getting out a map saying we was both going to the Forbidden Temple to get our memories back along with Irene and August. I nodded as Zeref was explaining to me how it would be hard. He was explaining how there would be test to see if we truly wanted the memories back as we soon left heading out the castle as Queen Layla saw us off. I looked around for Lucy my heart hurting not seeing her. I was confused on why it did hurt so much. "Zeref, whatever you are planning make it fast" Layla then spoke.

"Something is coming then?" Zeref asked as Layla nodded. "Everything points to a holy war so please be fast and return here or to your old Kingdom" Layla then spoke as he nodded. We soon left, August making a portal to take us outside the temple to where Irene there waiting. "No more guards around this place, many are already trying to get here on rumors" Irene soon informed Zeref who nodded walking first into the temple. It looked pretty small on the outside but once inside it looked like a huge maze. 

"Ideas on what we are even looking for brother?" I asked as he was looking around. He wasn't answering me. That annoyed me greatly. He soon started walking us following as it a quiet. Too quiet for my liking. "It might of been best to bring a Angel with us, what we are looking for has to be in the tunnels below" August spoke his eyes closed as Zeref sighed. "We will just have to kill the temple guardian" Zeref only spoke as Irene smirked at the idea. I looked around as it felt like I had been here before.

I couldn't picture it in any of my memories. Could it of been my past ones. Once out of deep thought I noticed the three were up ahead as I sighed walking slow as the ground started to crack. Zeref turned around fast as I stopped freezing as the floor was cracking around me. "Natsu!" I heard Zeref nearly shout as the floor gave in being a huge deep dark hole. I pushed my body to fall along the walls of the hole in doing so slowed me down as I landed on the ground on my feet. I looked up seeing the ceiling, the flooring I was once on, had fixed itself. 

Great. A trap. I saw myself in a lit up tunnel. I was most likely in the Angel Tunnels already. I walked ahead going through a doorway in the stone wall. It was a pretty long walk as when through I was in a giant room filled with books. "So you have returned to this place" a loud male voice shouted as I turned around seeing a half human, half lion standing there. I stepped back my fist bursting into flames. "Returned?" I asked confused as he chuckled. "You was here once before with Angel Lady Lucy" the unknown spoke.

"I am the Temple Guardian. You have returned for you memories have you not?" he then asked as my mind was on the fact Lucy and I were here once before. I was so close to her. I took a deep breath my flames going out. "Your brother and his friends will not be able to find a way down here, so you will be taking the memory viles with you to them" the Guardian then spoke walking to the corner of the room is footsteps making the ground shake each time. I was looking around as this room.

It did feel familiar. "Why help me?" I asked turning my head to watch the Guardian. "You are the lover of the Angel Princess. It is my duty to help you" he answered as my face warmed up in seconds hearing how he worded it. "Even though she falling for a demon is the reason her wings darkened in the first place" I heard the Guardian whisper as I heard explosions from above. "Seems they are trying to get to us" I mumbled as the Temple Guardian walked over passing me four viles. "Drink this once out the temple and your memories shall come to you" he explained.

I thanked him as in the blink of an eye I was outside the temple with Zeref, Irene and August as the temple vanished. "Natsu what are you holding?" Zeref asked as I explained what happened when I fell from the flooring as Zeref, Irene and August took one vile as we all drank it. That was when everything went black. 

~Meanwhile, Lucy's Pov~ 

I was sparing with Ophiuchus. We had been training the last five or so hours. I was out of breath as Ophiuchus on the other hand looked untouched and fine. "Should we break?" she asked as I moved fast showed up behind her and kicked her hard with one of Loke's Regulus attacks sending her flying into the wall. She turned around moving her hat to be straight as she still didnt have a scratch on her. "This is unfair are you healing yourself every second or something? "I asked annoyed.

Ophiuchus chuckled. "I'm using your magic to keep me in higher shape than you, it is to test the weight of drain and yet you still can't feel it" Ophiuchus answered as that explained why my magic attacks were not as strong. Ophiuchus moved at me as I dodge her attack by grabbing her leg and pushed her away with a shield. "Break" my mother nearly shouted as we turned our heads to see her walking over. Ophiuchus chuckled singing 'what have you done now?' with a smirk as I replied with 'nothing' while mumbling 'I think'. 

"Lucy you have been in here since what happened to Jiemma" mother spoke as I rubbed the back of my neck. "I want to be on full guard" I mumbled as Ophiuchus walked over putting her elbow on my shoulder. She was using as an army rest again. "Plus she has to unlock my Star Dress yet" Ophiuchus spoke poking my cheek as my mother shook her head sighing. "Training ends you got your classes to attend to, everyone is looking up to you as future Queen even more now" my mother spoke before leaving.

"Princess life is harder than it first looked" I and Ophiuchus spoke at the same time as we headed out and to the library were my classes were held. Thanks to Ophiuchus I learnt a lot about the new timeline. It was two hours of boring history lessons as I nearly passed out of boredom twice. Once free I headed to the gardens as Ophiuchus left me half way through the class. I looked up at the sky thinking. "I wonder, can I move on?" I asked in a whisper as my heart was basically dying for some of the old life back.

How Natsu and I were happy with the Fairy Tail guild. How Natsu and I were together nearly everyday. It also felt weird having my wings out all the time now. I heard making them vanished was only allowed when in the human world below. Mother already forbid me from leaving the castle until I passed my classes. I sat down sighing. "Princess and this type of life is not for me" I whispered closing my eyes.
