~Natsu's Pov~ 

We followed Erza and Gray all the way to the Fairy Tail guild hall. Humans were different to Demons. Not all had magic and power to fight. Most did but they went into things called guilds. I learnt they was basically a family. Many Human mages lost their family, had troubled past, mages as their family or had no family all together. They all came together in a guild and formed friends and family. Once inside many death glares were heading my way as Lucy was behind me confused. "Another glare and I will be taking an eye out of your heads" Erza shouted loudly.

I even went pale. Erza was stronger than me even as everyone was scared of upsetting her. It was possible she could of been the strongest in the guild after Mirajane Strauss who was walking over. "Who's the cute girl hiding?" Mirajane asked in her sweet smile as Lucy hid behind me more as I turned my head seeing her. "What I say?" I asked as Lucy shook her head. "That guy still attacked you, I can't trust that" Lucy mumbled as I sighed. Gray rolled his eyes walking in front of me his face in mine.

"What you even want? Setting your Demon army on us again?" Gray asked loudly as I looked toward the ground in guilt. "I ran away from the Kingdom again yes but this time I won't be going back" I spoke as Lucy was shocked by my words. "I came with my best friend Lucy to seeking asylum" I spoke loudly looking right at Gray as everyone in the guild was in shock looking toward me as the Master of the guild Makarov Dreyar was walking over blowing on his pipe. "How can we trust you Demon Prince?" Gray asked annoyed.

"I know you can't trust me anymore but I am not here for me, I'm here for her" I spoke in a serious voice as Gray was able to tell I meant it as he looked toward Lucy who was hugging my arm having the golden shield around us. "He won't hit me again" I spoke calmly looking toward Lucy as everyone was staring toward her in shock. "T-that's the shield that screws us over!" some people shouted stuttering at first as Lucy looked toward me with a unsure face as I smiled toward her. "I can handle myself" I whispered as Lucy sighed the shield going down.

"So that shield is not made by a Demon" Gramps (Makarov) spoke as Gray and Erza moved out his way as he was right in front of me. "Lucy is the one who makes them" I spoke as Lucy was hugging my arm more getting me to look toward her. "They won't harm you" I spoke as Mira moved in front of Lucy offering her hands. "I'm Mirajane Strauss but please call me Mira" she spoke as Lucy lessen her grip on my arm. "No one here will harm you Miss Lucy, if they even try they will suffer a hanging" Gramps soon spoke.

Everyone who was apart of the guild but Mira and Erza went slightly pale. "I-I'm Lucy Heartfilla" Lucy spoke letting go of my hands taking Mira's getting Mira to smile even more. "Want something to eat and drink? It be on the house" Mira spoke dragging Lucy to the bar as she turned her head back to me as I smiled and nodded letting her know it was fine. She was scared to be alone but I knew everyone here would protect her. "Erza, Gray, Natsu, come with me. Rest of you I meant my words be nice to the young lady" Gramps spoke walking off.

Erza, Gray and I followed as we went upstairs into his office. He got me to sit down with Gray and Erza standing each side of me. Most likely to keep an eye on me. "It is impossible for a human to make a shield that powerful" Gramps spoke as Gray was going 'no kidding' showing his burnt hand. That also looked slightly broken now I saw it better. "She's an Angel the last of her kind" I answered as the three of them was looking at me in utter shock. "She is the reason Demons are winning, she heals, powers and protected them just for me" I soon explained.

"My brother used that, he used the fact she would help me out anyway she could she would help my brother also but when it was for me it was more powerful, we grew up together and back then I vowed to protect her, even from my own brother" I soon spoke standing up walking to the desk putting my hands on there slowly. "He plans to destroying every other race but Demons using Lucy's power to do it but that much power would kill her. Please protect her even if I get thrown into some cell to root, just keep her safe Gramps" I soon spoke my fear of losing Lucy coming out in my voice.

Gramps closed his eyes thinking. "She will help you fight the Demons if I asked her, just don't let my brother use her like that. I couldn't care what you all do to me" I then spoke looking toward the ground my eyes closing. "I should be punished for what happened before and I know what I am asking is unfair after what happened but if Zeref does this, all races Human, Fairy, Troll, Monsters all what are left will be killed in a second no one being able to stop it" I was begging. I was begging for them to keep her safe.

"Lift your head" Gramps spoke as I lifted my head opening my eyes to see Gramps looking right at me with a serious face. "Would you fight your own brother for her?" he asked as I replied with a 'yes' right away and so sure as Gray and Erza were in shock still. "You both will join Fairy Tail guild, protection over her will be given by the Magic Council I will make sure of it" Gramps spoke as I let out a sigh or relief thanking him as Gray went quiet leaving the room as Erza walked over. 

"They will join your team Erza, use the Angel and Demon power well" Gramps then spoke as Erza let out a 'hai' as I was thankful. Lucy could live a normal life. She could be happy. She could have friends, a life, a family....She could have a life without my brother trying to kill her....
