~Lucy's Pov Still~ 

We was all in the cloud tower with the last Angels. Zeref here to destroy the trap and poison. I took a deep breath as soon a dark mist shaped as a female showed as Loke's eyes widen. "I know this spirit there is no way we can claim her Lucy" Loke soon spoke as I closed my eyes stepping forward and took another deep breath. "You are being used by Mard Geer and Invel. You do know we can destroy you and this is the last stand correct?" I asked opening my eyes as I had a serious face.

The Spirit tilted it's head moving to stand in front of me. "I am from the future you die in this battle, please do not pick to be used" I then spoke as I felt a sharp pain in my side as I heard everyone shouting my name. Loke moved punching the spirit away from me as I was stabbed. "Loke stand down" I shouted making him freeze an annoyed look on his face. He moved back to stand in front of me. "Ophiuchus she speaks the truth" Loke then spoke as my eyes widen. Was this truly Ophiuchus? The thirteenth Zodiac Spirit. The spell to summon her vanished so many years ago.

I moved forward holding my side. "You will die, your summoners are already dead by now" I then spoke as the spirit looked around and then toward me. "You are dying yet you stand there so brave and sure you can win" it soon spoke a female voice as I smiled. "Honest truth I'm scared like hell" I then laughed as the spirit was in some shock at my reply as she walked in front of me again as Loke went behind her ready to attack. "The only way for me to stop my mission is to do a contract with a new summoner" Ophiuchus soon spoke.

"I know that is why I am here" I replied as she put her hand over my own that was holding the stab wound as soon it wasn't hurting anymore. I moved my hand to see I was healed. I was in shock looking toward the spirit Ophiuchus. "You understand I am pure darkness unlike the other Zodiacs who are light?" she asked as I nodded knowing I would be just like my wings. Half light, half dark. Most people died becoming so. I wasn't scared of dying anymore. I had lost the main reason to fight because of my own actions.

I lost Natsu. I knew he wouldn't remember me. I knew I would no longer be apart of Fairy Tail. I knew everything would change after this moment. "You would want me someone who can get you killed?" Ophiuchus then asked as I took another deep breath looking right at her nodding. She laughed taking my hands as the black smoke was going up them. "Let us see if you live Heartfilla" she spoke vanished as I felt pure pain as I saw my black wing glowing. It turned pure white as everything went white. 

It felt as if I was floating as in front of me was a black space. "You wish to handle both darkness and light?" a male voice echoed as I was unable to speak but they knew my answered as I blinked. Once my eyes were open I was in a bed room filled with drawings and books. "Lucy time to wake up" Layla spoke coming into the room as I was breathing heavy sweat down my face. "Welcome back to the present" Layla then spoke as I got up seeing myself in a long white dress. "So it worked, I saved everyone?" I asked as Layla nodded.

"There is no war, there is pure peace" Layla answered as I rushed to her hugging her, finally able to do so as she hugged back. I soon was crying. "They won't remember me I know that is the price for this but I am happy no one will end up dying" I spoke in tears as my mother hugged me tighter. She calmed me down as we left the room as Layla was explaining everything to me. We were the Heartfilla clan the leaders of the Angel Race. I the Crowned Princess was soon to take over my mother's place.

I learnt Anna Heartfilla died stopping a war between trolls and Fairies. Everything was strange. I also learnt that us Heartfilla's were just for show as there was no male to take the throne the ambassador took over and leads everyone mostly. I was going to change that. "Lucy going at the ambassador might get you killed" my mother spoke as I turned my head to see my wings were pure black. I stood still staring at them in utter shock. "The darkness shows through your wings but your body is the light" Layla then explained a sad smile on her face.

Layla was my mother but I had no memories of the new world. I had the past in my mind, part of me wanting me to call her mother but another part felt like Zeref was a parent not her. I was wondering what I was going to do. We got to the throne room to see Zeref and next to him Natsu who looked bored out his mind. He looked just the same. I was glad he was safe and most likely happy. There was only us four in the room. "She is back from the past" Layla spoke as Zeref came over bowing to me.

"Welcome back to the present, your work has stopped many wars Princess Lucy" Zeref spoke as it felt weird hearing and seeing him like this. "I am not use to this, I am used to you normally yelling at me for sneaking out" I whispered shaking my head, holding it. "It will take time you only memories of the old world" Layla spoke as Natsu was asking what we all meant as soon Zeref explained everything. It hurt me so much to see Natsu unable to remember me. My own memories was on the kiss we had. 

I wished we could be like that again but I knew it could never happen. "We will get you history lessons right away" Layla spoke as I nodded sadly looking away unable to face anyone. "Lucy what is wrong?" Layla asked as I just ran out the room, my eyes watering. I felt as if I could handle the fact no one could remember me but I just couldn't I kept running until I was out the castle as I flew high as I could in the air taking deep breaths. "I only wanted him to remember me just him alone" I whispered covering my eyes.

"Now, now don't cry there is a way to get his memories back" I heard Ophiuchus's voice as I turned around moving my hands to see her but she looked human wearing a nurse outfit, her hair green but her eyes clear sky blue. "There is?" I asked as she nodded poking my forehead and then nose. "Us spirits remember everything from this world and the past, we will be by your side throughout everything, My Princess" Ophiuchus then spoke winking as I nodded, smiling brightly toward her.

"But you should know the ambassador is killing people who have done nothing because the can't pay taxes and so on he is using death threats to keep control" Ophiuchus then spoke as I took a deep breath. "First we deal with the ambassador, I ain't letting someone control my people" I then spoke. "I love this idea" Ophiuchus spoke as I laughed slightly hearing how excited she was. We soon landed back outside the castle to see Natsu leaning on the wall. "You was close to me, in the past world huh?" he asked looking toward me.

"Correct" I answered as Ophiuchus I noticed landed on the roof of the castle watching and listening to us. "How close?" he asked walking up to me getting a little too close. "D-dating" I answered stuttering at first my face burning up as he looked at me in shock. "I know the old Natsu I knew is gone you are your own person not the one in the old world, I changed everything so you wouldn't get killed fighting for Fairy Tail" I then spoke as I saw the Fairy Tail guild mark on his right arm still.

Mine was gone. "You did it to save us?" he asked in a whisper. "To save all humans, demons and other races yes, now I am back I will do anything to save anyone I can" I then answered as I put my hands on his cheeks, his face warming up as I smiled. "I see you are happy, I won't take that from you please forget about everything and be happy" I spoke tears building up once more as I moved my hands walking off as Ophiuchus jumped off the roof landing next to me laughing slightly as we went inside. 

"Your love for him is the reason you lived through dark and light, only three people can be dark and light and live. You, Larcade and August" Ophiuchus soon informed me as I nodded. I knew I had to to listen to every word she said. I had to keep up. I lost the one I love to save everyone and stop the war. I knew that and I accepted it.
