"I will not be paying for her tuition..."

Aliya was excited to go to her dream university as it was the same one that her mother went to. But when Zayd heard that she got her acceptance letter from that university, he was angry because he thought that Nanny Lea would force him to pay for her as well as Alina.

Zayd was in his office when his wife called and started yelling at him about how Aliya got into a university and who would pay for her tuition.

"Rukiya, calm down please..."

"Don't tell me to calm down! She will try and get you to pay for her. Zayd, she isn't worth it for you to pay anything for her studies. I don't care how you do it but remember that Alina needs you to pay for her tuition and I wont let that girl take her place," Rukiya yelled at him and didn't even bother to wait for her husband to answer and just hung up.

Isn't Aliya your daughter too? She deserves your love and care and for you to pay for her tuition. Farha would hate you more than she ever did for what you did to her.

"I need to do that DNA test even if I have to steal her DNA, I will do it. But first I need to talk to Nanny Lea about what she has been planning about Aliya's tuition fees," Zayd says while trying to calm down.

Meanwhile Aryan knew some drama would come at Zyad's house about who will be paying for Aliya's tuition fees.

He couldn't help but smirk knowing that everything was going according to plan but he didnt expect that some things would change.

"Are you sure that he will do it?" an unknown person asked.

"Yes, knowing how his mind works, I am sure that he will do it in maybe a week or less but that also depends on whetehr he tells his wife or not?" Aryan answered. "But all I need is my niece to be safe and your..."

"Trust me when I tell you that he will pick Aliya's side once all of this is over. In shaa Allah but we should also prepare for anything that would happen. Rukiya is a cunning woman that has no morals in getting what she wants in life and she did get to an extent of even killing your sister, Farha."

"That was one of the most painful days that I would ever forget especially after hearing Zayd asking for a DNA test from the doctor. Aliya was just a few minutes old and he didnt care as long as he got what he wanted," Aryan said remembering the fateful day that his niece was born and his sister died. "But hopefully everything will be okay as long as she doesn't interfere again. I will also be paying for Aliya's tuition for the entire course she will be doing at the university," he added with a smile.

A few days passed, and Aliya was in her room trying to figure out how she would pay for her tuition because she would never ask Mr Zayd for any help.

"Are you okay, Habibty?" Nanny Lea asked.

"I dont know, Nanny. I am worried about..."

Aliya couldn't even finish what she was saying when Mr Zayd burged inside her room for the first in almost nineteen years.

"Can we help you, Sir?" Nanny asked while Aliya was confused as to why Zayd was doing there.

"I am here to tell you that I will not be paying for her tuition..."

"I didn't ask you to pay for it, did I?" Asked Aliya for the first time surprising both Nanny Lea and Zayd. "I promised that I will never ask you for anything, right? Then why are you here in the servant quarters. Listen, Sir, I do not need you or even your money as I never did need you," she added angrily.

Zayd was speechless as he didnt expect Aliya to talk back to him.

"My mother already had everything planned for me and I do not need you or anything from you. Now if you dont mind, your wife and daughter might be looking for you. I dont want any trouble from either of them. As soon as I graduate I will be leaving this house with my Nanny in shaa Allah. Now please leave before your wife hurts me more than she ever did," Aliya said showing Zayd the door.

Zayd walked out of the room with a heavy heart and tears filled his eyes. He knew that he deserved it as he never treated Aliya as his daughter.

I deserved that and much more. I wish that I could go back in time and do the DNA test without anyone knowing about it. I missed everything with her but now the only way I could get to be her father is by doing the test and this time no one should know about it.

Inside the room, Nanny tried to calm Aliya down but she knew that would be impossible because of what Zayd said to her in the past years.

"I am sorry, Nanny about what I said to him but I couldnt help it. He will never be my father, Nanny..."

"I understand, my dear but remember that he is your father and that will never change even if he will never accept you. But remember that we shouldnt wish ill on anyone and as for you tuition, your uncle Aryan has that covered along with your cousin's as you four are going to the same university," Nanny said making Aliya smile knowing that no matter what she will always have people in her life who will be there and love her.

Aliya was grateful to have her uncle, cousin and her two best friends.

Yes, she does consider Matthew as one of her best friends. As time went by, it was time for the four of them to go to campus and learn who they would be rooming with.

Alhamdulilah for Aliya as she got lucky that her roommates were none other than Ayla and Red.
