"You Killed My Daughter And Now I Will Ruin Your Life".

Nanny Lea and Aryan received the devastating news about Aliya.

"She has a broken her arm and one of her legs. And she had a mental bar stuck on her lower back. We don't know for sure the damage the bar did to her spine until she wake us. All we can do is pray and have faith," the doctor said to them.

"What about the other girl who was with Aliya?" Nanny asked the doctor.

"I am sorry but I can't disclose that kind of information especially when you aren't related to the patient," the doctor explained. "I will keep you posted on Aliya's ongoing treatment," he added and then walked away.

Aryan turned to face Nanny with a worried look, about what the doctor said about not letting them know about Alina.

"Nanny, do you think something bad happened to her?"

"I don't know. But when the police told us that Aliya was on the passenger side while Alina was on the driver's side and the fact that she was in and out of consciousness," Nanny said trying to remember what the police told them when they first arrived at the hospital.

How about I go and talk to the police in charge of the investigations? Hopefully, he will shed some light on our questions," Aryan says. "Call me if anything changes about Aliya?" He added and got up from his seat to go and search for the police.

But Nanny had a feeling that Aryan might not find what they were looking for. Especially, after the accusation that Rukiya threw at their Aliya.

But there was no harm in trying, right?

After what seemed like a few hours when the doctor informed them that Aliya was now being transferred to a special room that Aryan had requested.

"But I am sorry to say this, Aliya hasn't woken up yet. Dont worry we are hopeful that she will in shaa Allah," the doctor informed them. "I reset her arm and leg while the surgeon did his best to remove the metal bar on her back. We are waiting for her to wake up to determine the extent of the damage done by it," he added.

Nanny and Aryan thanked the doctor and followed him to where Aliya was. The moment they walked in Nanny felt tears coming. She couldn't hold it any longer.

"Nanny, alhamdulilah she is alive, right? What matters right now is for her to wake up and see you smiling," Aryan said.

"I know that. But this felt like her mother all over again. I can't help but remember when our Farha died."

Aryan understood what Nanny was telling him but he also needed to assure her that Aliya was alive alhamdulilah.

But what had been bothering him was that the police disappeared before he could even talk to him.

In the coming days, Nanny would stay with Aliya while Aryan went to work but didnt stop investigating what happened during the accident and where is Alina.

Meanwhile, Red and Zayn have been trying to piece everything together because of the rumours spread about their best friend/cousin.

The students were saying that she killed her stepsister because of someone they both loved.

"Red, let them be. If they don't listen to the truth, they are blind to it," Zayn said.

Red nodded but couldn't rest until she found out what happened that night of the accident.

Aliya was her best friend.

She was her sister.

Muskaan owed her this especially after always helping her with whatever Red would need.

At least I have the evidence if that woman ever tries anything to harm my friend. I won't hesitate to use it against her. But for now, I need my best friend to be okay. I can't bear to lose her.

After two days, Aliya woke up to find herself in a hospital room and to her right she saw Nanny Lea was on the sofa sleeping. She opened her eyes and looked around to find she was in the I.C.U.

Aliya then remembered what happened and wanted to ask where her sister was but couldn't speak because of the breathing tube in her mouth.

All she could think about was what happened and where was her sister.

She slowly reached out to touch the bell and pressed it alerting the nurse at their station.

In about five minutes, a nurse walked into the room.

"That's good you are awake now. I will go and call the doctor now."

The nurse walked out of the room leaving Aliya confused about what happened.

"Aliya, you are awake, my child? I will go and call your friends and Uncle Aryan," Nanny said leaving Aliya alone with her thoughts.

Aliya remembered the accident but everything else was a blur from the moment Alina picked her up to go after meeting someone. She needed her sister.

They didn't even reach their destination when a truck hit them and their car plunged into the freezing river.

The doctor came to check up on her and remove the breathing tube.

"You need to stay for a few more days for observation and then I will discharge you," the doctor said.

Aliya nodded.

After a few minutes, the door opened revealing Rukiya fuming mad. She approached the bed where Aliya was lying.

"It is all your fault that my daughter is dead. You killed her!!"

Aliya was more confused as to why Rukiya would assume any of that.

"But ma'am I didn't do anything..."

Aliya couldn't even finish what she was saying when Rukiya slapped her.

"Don't you dare lie to me. I know you killed my daughter. My daughter wanted to be you sister but I knew that this would be her outcome. You ruined her life and now I have to bury her," Rukiya continued yelling at Aliya, who had tears in her eyes.

All she remembered was that Alina was the one driving the car. Aliya was trying to convince her to stop the car as Alina wasn't in her right mind to drive.

"You will pay for this. Even if its with your life. I will make you pay. That's a promise," Rukiya said one last time before leaving the room.

Aliya couldn't believe what just happened.

"Alina couldn't be dead. She couldn't be dead. She can't be dead."

Aliya tried to take off the wires on her arms to go and look for her sister but she was stopped by the nurse who heard her yelling at herself.

"Please calm down, dear. You need to stay calm. Take a deep breath..."

But the nurse knew it wasn't working, the only thing left was to sedate Aliya.

"My sister isn't dead....Alina can't be dead," Aliya murmurs as she falls asleep.

"I am sorry, it was the only way to keep her calm," the nurse explained to Nanny while pointing at the wires that were on the floor beside the bed.

"I understand. But what happened? I just went out to make a call to her uncle and to call the doctor," Nanny asked.

The nurse explained everything to Nanny about Rukiya being in the room.

"She won't leave my girl alone untill she gets what she wants. Nurse can I ask for a favor? Please never let that woman inside this room? And tell every nurse and doctor."

The nurse nodded, kept the wires as they were and walked out of the room.
