The Story After Matthew And Alina's Relationship.

Matthew knew that he could not go back to what he was about to tell them, and he knew that the story he was about to tell them would make someone in the room angry.

And that someone is Aliya and Alina's father.

Zayd.

I don't know if they will ever forgive me but there's no perfect time for me to tell them what happened to Alina and me.

"We met when we were kids and then grew apart because of her mother's interference. After a few years later, we met again and this time we made a promise to keep our friendship a secret from her mother and everyone around us," Matthew explained. "After spending time together as friends, I started developing feelings for her and wanted to make things official with her. But Alina couldn't do it because of the fear she had of her mother. I was determined to be there for her even if it would be just friends," he continued while shocking Hamza.

"I know what you are thinking about, that we couldn't be together because it was Haraam and the fact that we are from two different religions? Yes, we are all that but I made her a promise that once we graduate from university and once I get a job, I will become a Muslim and then we could get married with your blessings, Sir," he continued, looking at Zayd.

This surprised everyone including Hamza who didn't know any of this. He believed the lies that Alina and Rukiya told him about her having feelings for him just because of their jealousy toward Aliya.

"What happened then? Why did she cry that day of the accident?" Zayn asks him.

"That day, Rukiya found out about us secretly meeting and she threatened to kill me if I didn't back off. Alina told me that we are over and that she doesn't love me anymore. I later learned this from a message Alina sent me before the accident happened. After graduation, I packed my bags and sent a letter to Uncle Aryan explaining that I won't be needing his internship. I took my mother and sister to see our relatives and to keep them safe. I had to explain to mum about my situation and I confessed to her that I had converted into a Muslim a week before leaving the city. I returned a few months back, I tried to look for her but all I heard were rumors that Aliya was in the hospital and Alina was dead. I didn't want to believe any of that, until I saw her with my eyes," he said. "Before the accident Alina and I did some things we weren't proud of but I don't regret it because it was with someone I love and I was planning on marrying in future," he added finishing his story. 

"Did you know that Alina was pregnant before the accident?" Zayd asks, surprising Matthew. "By the look on your face, I can say you didn't know, right?" He asked.

"I didn't know anything. If I had, I would have fought for her and our baby. Do you guys know where Alina is?" Matthew asked, but no one would tell him anything. "Please, I need to find her and our baby..."

"There's no baby...Her mother got rid of the baby as soon as she found out about it," Zayd yelled at him. "Her mother ruined everything good that I had in my life. My daughter, Alina, hates me because of what I did to her in the past. And now, she took my other daughter and hid her from me," he added, tears shining in his eyes.

Aliya stood up, walked toward her father, and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"I don't hate you. I don't think I ever did hate you," she said, making him turn to face her. "I couldn't hate you because even though you weren't around, you were always my father. And I forgive you for everything, now we need to get my sister back before Rukiya does any harm to her, Dad." she added, surprising everyone in the room by calling Zayd 'Dad'.

Zayd hugged his daughter, while Aryan, Red, Zayn, and Nanny smiled, knowing that finally Aliya had her father in her life.

"Thank you habibty for giving me a chance to be a father to you," Zayd says, kissing Aliya's forehead and making her smile.

Hamza was more shocked to learn the lies that he was told by Alina but he didnt want to be angry at her but at Rukiya.

"How can a mother do that to her daughter? Why would she make her do all of those things just because of jealousy?..."

"Because she overhead me saying that I will do the DNA test when Aliya came home from the hospital, the day she was born. Rukiya didnt want any of that to happen because she knew if it did, there's a lot she would lose. Including our marriage and money," Zayd explained. "She also found out through a lawyer that I had left everything to my daughters and nothing for her. Thats why she was torturing you, Aliya. To make me give her your share of the inheritance," he added.

"Why didnt you give it to her then? It would have helped us alot, dad..."

"Because if I did, she wont be satisfied with that only. Plus Rukiya has been working with my mother to ruin my marriage even before I married her. She wanted your mother's wealth but when she realized that Farha didnt have anything to offer, thats when my mother started her plans," he explained to them.

"Now I remember whenever we would met up, Alina would tell me that her grandmother was forcing her to be with..."

"Me, right?" Hamza asked interrupting him. "You don't have to lie about that. They lied to me all these years and I was a fool to believe them," he added, leaving the room angrily.

"This is what I mean by lying, as it gets you nowhere. Matthew, you could have told us what was happening between you and Alina. That would have prevented alot of things," Aliya said.

"Aliya is right. You could have come to me and I would have helped you," Zayd said.

Aliya couldn't help but feel sad about Hamza and what he found out was that his and Alina's entire relationship was nothing but a lie made up by her mother.

She walked out of the room, with the intention of checking up on Hamza whom she found in the living room.

"Are you okay?"

"I dont think I will be okay, Ali. After finding out that everything was a lie and what I did to you...I am started to understand why you wont want anything to do with me now."

Aliya took a seat in the next chair facing him.

"All I can say is that no one is not at fault in this situation. Not Rukiya, not Alina and definitely not Matthew. I dont want to tell you that Alina had her reasons, because I dont know what they are. But I can tell you is that, wait until we get her, then you can ask her the questions you have for her. As for now, you could help by getting more information where Rukiya has my sister..."

"I know where Rukiya has Alina but we need to move fast before she takes her some place else. But first we need to get Aliya, Nanny and Red to safety before we start our plans," Zayn says interrupting her.

"No, I want..."

"No, Ali. You need to be safe. As your brother, I need you to do this for me, please?"

Aliya nodded making Zayn breathe a sigh of relief. But in her mind, she had other plans that would make Zayn and everyone else alter their plans to save her.
