Samantha's P.O.V. :

Arriving at the hotel, 'Le fleurs' the manager said that only one room was available. I could feel Adam questioning gaze towards me. I knew how tough it could be. We are two teenagers, How was it possible to share the same room? But I didn't want to let the previous efforts we made to come here go in vain. There weren't many hotels in sight and also it wasn't possible to find another room and the temperature was decreasing fast. That's why I gave Adam a nod and reassuring smile but from the look on Adam's face, maybe my hesitation was visible. My skin was going paler because of cold and also my nervousness. Even though I'd brought warm clothes from the mall, still it was not being sufficient. There were two cute and soft, woolen sweaters and a navy blue hoodie which I'd bought from the mall. And I was wearing the hoodie at that moment. 

The manager handed over the keys to Adam and we slowly made way to our room on the second floor. We were soon in front of room 204 and the door opened as soon as Adam inserted the keys. His nervousness about staying in the same room was also easily seen in his body language. The way he was scratching the back of his neck every five seconds and how he was taking considerably smaller and slower steps. 

The bedroom was quite pleasing to me. Decorated with purple and rose pink adjacent walls, and a ready-made, soft bed where I sat as soon as I entered, the room was simple yet appealing to me. While I was scanning the room, I could still feel his gaze on me. I could see that the room was pretty small to even sleep on the floor as our luggage took the place. So, only one option  for us to sleep was bed. Bed for the both of us! Now, I was unable to utter a word. I was feeling even more scared than the time I was kidnapped. What to do? 

We both took turns to go to the bathroom and change our clothes. It was already late and we were supposed to sleep I knew it. I could see Adam was nervous. At least, I wasn't the only one feeling the awkwardness with this arrangement. I simply suggested,"We both can sleep on opposite sides of bed, right?" He slowly nodded, a relieved smile on his face which instantly made me feel better. I slowly moved under the fluffy blanket, still I wouldn't stop shivering under the cold climate. Plus, there was no heater here. I felt some movement on the bed and slowly moved my eyes on the other side to just see Adam positioning himself to sleep there. My teeth were chattering and the voice brought the attention of Adam towards me. His golden blonde hair seemingly glowing in the night yellow lights were removed from his face by him and his nose was looking pointedly towards me in concentration. I closed my eyes and tried to let the darkness consume me but to no avail. The cold was really taking a toll on me. 

That's when I felt bulky arms covering my body with warmth. I turned a bit to see Adam with his eyes closed and hugging me so as to protect me from the cold. The warmth radiating off his body and his arms around my waist didn't feel unfamiliar or uncomfortable, instead they made me feel safe, secure and comfortable in the best way. With his warmth making me feel better inside out, I easily drifted off into deep slumber while snuggling.
