Everleigh:

It has been a few days since getting the pups back home safe and sound. Rose woke up and after getting the all-clear from the doctors we all went home after all of us got a check-up, Damo and I to be more precise.

My baby is doing fine and growing nicely and kicking like a real football player. Asher has doubled the security and has even set up a few cameras around the house that only he and Carter know where they are. We never let the kids by themselves or out of our site. It's a bit rash but it helps put my mind at ease.

Annie and I have been catching up. I have been giving her tips because it's still her first pregnancy and she was freaking out. Ray has been at her beck and call since she has been experiencing cravings. They were super sweet together and made me wish that Asher had been there for my first pregnancy so that we could learn all this together but it seems like the Moon Goddess had other plans.

"Baaaabeeee..." I whined sitting on the sofa. My feet are killing me and I'm starving and on top, on that, I can't move because I have both kids sleeping on me. Rose was straddling my belly, her face was hidden in my neck and Damon had his head on my lap hugging as best he could my belly.

"Yes, angel." His head peeked out of the kitchen, he was shirtless and only in joggers. I had to swallow hard with the sight in front of me. damn hormones!

What are you complaining about? I'm enjoying the view of our sexy mate. My wolf chimed in.

"Could you get me something salty like a sandwich with mayo, mustard, sausages, lettuce ... oh radishes maybe add a packet of crisps, salt and vinegar obviously and a chocolate milkshake please?" I gave my best puppy eyes and tried not to talk too loud.

He let out a sexy chuckle and came up to me and kissed my forehead.

"You have some weird culinary tastes I have ever seen and Ray told me that even Annie didn't ask for things as weird as you." He laughed a little more and sat next to me kissing Rose on the side of her head and stroking Damon's head Lovingly.

"When I was expecting Rose all I wanted to eat were bananas covered in chocolate sauce and this type of crab salad with mayonnaise all over it. But with this little guy here it seems that he likes to make me eat all types of weird things." I smiled down at my belly and rubbed the side of it than Rose's back remembering when she was in my belly.

After my very weird meal Asher took me as best he could in his arms with me resting my head on his shoulder.

"Ash. What are we going to do?" he turned to me looking confused.

"What do you mean by 'what are we going to do?'" I took a deep breath.

"I think we need a break from here. I feel like everywhere I go someone is going to pop up from the shadows and take the pups away again... The kids wake up with nightmares when they don't sleep in the same bed with us. Louis is finally awake and not saying a word to me nor does he look at me. I just need to be somewhere else, at least for the summer." I felt tears prick my eyes. I really don't like the feeling in the air in this house.

"If that's what you want then that is what we will do." I snuggled closer to him as both kids woke up.

"Dada." Rose put her arms out for her father to take.

"Come here princess," he spoke softly to her. Damon took this opportunity to sit up and stretch only to take Rose's place.

A new day and a new day where I don't want to be stuck in this house again. I spend most of my Time in the rose garden that Asher has made for me when we had our first date and when he proposed. I love the memories here and to be surrounded by all these beautiful flowers make me feel at ease. The sun is banging but I don't mind, it sends me to my happy place, far from all the drama that has been going on.

"Angel." His deep voice knocked me out of my daydream admiring the roses.

"Yes?" I turned around with a rose that I had picked. It was lightly faded around the edges.

"What do you think about going to LA for a bit. I have a beach house over there and am good friends with the Alpha. It's summer and like you said we need a break from this house. What do you think? Me, you, the kids?" A huge smile spread on my face as I attempted to run into his arms.

"You are truly the best. When are we going?" I asked eyes full of hope.

"Tomorrow early morning. You might want to start packing." I hopped on my feet and hugged him again and ran inside the house to our room and get things in place and then to the kids' room.

I was so in a rush that I didn't see who was walking in the corridor.

"Louis?" I gasped out of breath.

"E-Everleigh. We need to talk." I nodded unsurely.

"Look I'm sorry. All of this is my fault. I- *breaths out* I should have known something was going to happen. I... I'm sorry." He didn't dare look at me in the eyes. Seeing as I wasn't saying anything he continued.

"I know you probably don't want to forgive me and that I have been acting weird lately but it's because I just can't be in the same room as you, boss or the kids with our feeling terribly guilty and I only wish that you would forgive me..."

I placed my hand on his shoulder making him look up at me.

"I forgive you, Louis, sure I was really mad when I found out but you were caught off guard. I hate the people that took my pups and made them live through that hell. Not you." I tried reassuring him.

We ended with a hug before we both walked off to finish what we were set off to do.

"Thank you" he whispered before walking off into the darkness of the corridor.
