Everleigh:

These past few weeks have been so calm. Maybe a little too calm. The kids were still as fond of each other, Ray and Annie have been stuck together like glue, Carter has been watching everyone like a hawk because he is becoming an uncle not just once but twice and Asher has been working his arse off. Something is up but I like the calm for now.

I'm coming up to my 5th month and this baby has me crying or yelling every five freaking minutes. I've been having the weirdest cravings and since we are in the heat of summer I'm literally melting. If I could walk around naked I would.

I'm so hot I live in booty shorts and tank tops. I've fallen in love with cloudy lemonade and things full of sugar but Ash only lets me have fruits since they are naturally full of sugar, his protective side showing up since the new baby will be here in no time.

"What's the plan for today?" Paul asked me since we were all around the kitchen table, but Asher, who has been locked up in his office with Carter for a few days now.

"I don't know. I might relax, my back is killing me and the heat isn't helping." I said sitting down with my bowl of grapes.

"Well Ray and I have an appointment at the pack doctors for this little guy here so we'll be off soon and we might put in some baby shopping in too." Annie nodded toward Ray.

"Mmm ok. Well, Ash and Carter don't seem to be coming out anytime soon." I sighed. The kids came running in trying to get my attention.

"Mummy! Mummy!" They yelled in sync.

"Yes, my loves what do you want?"

"Can we go to the park please ?" Damon batted his eyelashes. Damn that boy will break hearts.

"My loves mummy is tired today. Maybe tomorrow. You can play in the garden I'll ask daddy if you can have some outdoor toys to play with. " the look on their face broke my heart.

"But I want go park!" Rose yelled stomping her foot.

"Mummy said another day Rose." I stroked some of her curls out of her face. Damon just stood there thinking.

"What if daddy takes us?" He questioned. My heart broke a little more.

"Baby boy... daddy has a lot of work to do. He can't take you." His little smile turned into a frown. I hate that frown.

"I'll take them!" Louis piped up.

"Are you sure? Both kids, by yourself?" I asked unsurely. He had been a little off since I have been back from the hospital and that was months ago.

"Yeah. They are good kids and the park will be a good place for me to bond with these little ones. And you'll be able to get a good rest." He had a point.

"Do you want to go to the park with Louis?" The kids' eyes lit up again.

"Yeah! Thank you, mummy!" They hopped into my arms and gave me lots of hugs and kisses.

"Ok then get dressed and mummy will get a bag ready and after lunch, you can go to the park," I told the kids and they didn't need to be told twice.

"Thank you, Louis. It means a lot that you're doing this today."

I stood up and took the dirty dishes and brought them to the sink.

"No problem Leigh." I gave him a side hug. Before heading up and getting the kids' bag ready.

"Be good for Louis kids ok?" I told the kids who nodded eagerly.

I kissed both of their heads and placed caps on their head since the sun is banging outside and suncream won't fully protect them.

"Alright so here is their bag with the bottle of suncream, a change of clothes, two bottles of water and a few snacks and toys as well as some money if needed. Don't let them out of your site. If not enjoy your afternoon I want them back for 4:00 pm. " he nodded and left with the two kids to the "family " car.

I sighed and closed the door. I trust Louis but this is the first time I left them to go out of the house without me and I'm quite nervous an about it.

It's almost 5 o'clock and there still is no sign of Louis and the kids. I've been pacing the floor and Asher has been trying to get hold of Louis.

Something is not right. My whole howled in pain, as agitated as I was.

Maybe they got stuck in traffic. I mean we are in summer there are a lot of people. Or maybe they are out for an ice cream. Or that they are having so much fun that they haven't seen the time past. Yeah, that's it!

Asher hung up the phone and huffed.

"Angel... I think you need to sit down." He came up to me and guided me to one of the sofas.

"Asher what is going on. Where are my kids?" He took my hands in his as he sat so that we were facing each other.

"Angel listen to me. The kids... the... Louis .... gosh there is no easy way to say this. " he turned his head.

"The kids have been taken." My eyes that were now full of tears widened.

"What do you mean by 'taken'? " my heartbeat picked up as I placed a hand protectively on the remaining child I had, listening in closely to hear his or her heart beating.

"They were kidnapped, Leigh. Louis got hit on the head pretty badly and he is in the hospital to get stitched up. "

My mind went to a blur. My kids were gone god knows where and the only person who could know what happened is not in any shape to do so.

"I won't see my babies or have them in my arms tonight?" Tears were falling like a river now.

Asher took me into his arms as I was crying all that I knew.

"I'll get them back. I promise I will. The person behind this will die. I'll do everything to get them back." Asher's voice broke at the end but the determination in his voice took over.

I just want my kids back in my arms. This is all my fault...
