Everleigh:

I walked into our room to see Asher in once of his t-shirts and joggers with his laptop on his knees working on pack business.

"Baby..." I purred coming up to him.

"Yes, angel." He put the laptop next to him on the bed giving me his full attention.

"Can you go knock some sense into Ray for me before I go and chop his balls off?" I smiled sweetly at him.

"What did he do?"

"Annie is pregnant with his pup... he... he just had to react badly to the news then told her he didn't believe her. On top of that, they are mates." I didn't realise that I was crying again.

Argh, hormones!

"Hey, baby girl. I'll go talk to him. Don't cry, baby. Go take care of Annie. You two girls need rest." He kissed the top of my forehead before heading out.

Asher Mortimer:

I stood up and left the room.

I will kill him. I thought to myself, my wolf agreeing with me.

I never admitted it but Annie was like a little sister to me. Not a lot of people know it but Carter and Annie are siblings.

Shocking I know right. They look nothing alike and they don't like it to be known because Carter hates his mother for cheating on his father, her own mate and leaving him only to come back with a baby Annie and left again leaving his Dad to take care of a pup that wasn't even his.

I came up to the game room to see Paul and Ray playing on the PlayStation 4.

"Paul can you leave us please I would like to talk to Ray alone." He nodded then left closing the door behind him.

"What the fuck is going on why you," I said aggravation clear in my voice.

"Dude, what do you mea-"

"Cut the crap, Ray. I know about the pup Annie is carrying, your baby. I know you guys are mates too. You gave me advice when I freaked out about having another kid well let me give you a little of mine." He bent over placing his elbows on his lap.

"She left before I could finish what I wanted to say. She is a stubborn mate. I think I love her and we had fun but a baby? I don't think I can stop having fun and settle down, not yet." I sighed and sat next to him.

"Listen, Ray. I know having a kid is hard and fucking scary but you just told her that she was a liar. She was brave enough to tell you and you blew her off. Plus she's your mate, you will have to settle down at some point too. It's not easy but trust me its the best thing in the world coming home to your beautiful mate and even more when she is carrying your pup."

"I know... I know... I do want pups of my own, but now is too early." He whined

"Dude you still have a good six months to go before the baby is actually here you do realise. That leaves you plenty of time to grow a pair and be ready to be a dad. And once your wolf and you hear that baby's heartbeat, your life changes for the best that I can assure you." I mind drifted to the first ultrasound of the baby, that moment when I saw that baby on the screen with the beating heart in the background was one of the best moments of my life.

"I only wish I was there for when Everleigh was pregnant with Rose. I missed all these little moments and I regret not being there. And I don't want you to regret this decision later. I was lucky enough to find her again but Annie is a lot more stubborn then her it might not be that easy to get her back." He sighed and nodded his head agreeing with my words.

"Your right man. I can't lose her. Not like that." I smiled at him and gave him a pat on the back.

He ran out of the room to go to Annie and I followed him in. Everleigh was with her and they were talking baby stuff.

"Annie." He breathed out. And the look on her face was not the best. Leigh came up to me and gave me a side hug, I knew she wanted to stay, she loves a bit of drama.

"What do you want Ray? Get out before my brother comes and beats you up." A flash of fear came in his eyes but was covered by his determination.

"Let him. I know I have been a jerk and I realise now that I don't want to lose you or this little pup growing inside you." He went up to her.

"Please let me be there." He knelt down and kissed her stomach.

I heard a sniff next to me to see that Everleigh was crying, again. Her and her hormones, thank god the doctor warned me about all her emotions going all over the place.

"Get the fuck away from my sister you dipshit!" Of course, Carter had to show up at this moment.

"Keep your voices down MY kids are sleeping!" Everleigh snapped and all listened. I must admit she did scare me at times.

"Carter, I'm sorry. I realise I was stupid and I want to be here for her. I will always be there for her. I promise." I saw Carter huff and a few tears leave both the girls' eyes.

"Welcome to the family. And if ever you hurt one of them be prepared to die a slow and horrible death. " Carter warned before taking both his sister and Ray for a big bear hug.

I held Leigh closer in my arms kissing the top of her head.

"Let's leave them and get you to bed angel ok?" I whispered in her ear. She nodded.

I took her hand, electric shots erupting at the contact and walked her back to her room. We stopped in front of Damon's room only to see him reading a story to a very sleepy Rose who was cuddled up to him with her teddy bear in one arm.

"There are no monsters here Ro. I'm here to protect you and mummy. I won't let anyone hurt you." He cuddled to her too and closed the book before turning the light off and dozing off.

"He is a great big brother and will be a great Alpha," Leigh whispered as we came back to our room.

"That he is, and he will be one of the best Alphas out there."

I'm truly blessed to have all these people in my life.

Sorry for the long wait, I got busy with uni work and other things and I didn't have time to write for this story. I barely had time to write Wolfgang too! 

I'll try and be a little more regular with the updates but I still have a few more essays and presentations to write and all so I can't guarantee anything.
