Yusuf Is Leaving.

Happiness started to look up for Hanan, Fahd, and their entire family especially when there was excellent news that Hanan was pregnant with their second child.

Yes, he has always considered Armaan his daughter whether she is his blood or not.

She is his daughter.

But unfortunately for Armaan one of her best friend was leaving the country to follow his father who had a job opportunity that he didn't want to miss.

Faiz needed to get his family back together as they were before everything that had happened to them due to Kareem's actions.

"Why can't you give him a job at your company, dad? This will make them stay here...."

Armaan tells her father who couldn't look at his daughter's sad face. Fahd looked at his wife who gave him a small smile knowing that Faryal and Faiz needed to go and try to have a fresh start after what had happened to him.

And no one would even hire him because of what his brother did to Hanan and their entire family.

"Habibty, I can do that but its all upto him. I cant force him but Yusuf will come over to play with you and spend time. I am sorry my love that your friend is leaving but he will be back in shaa Allah", Fahd tries to assure his daughter who was crying because she won't be able to see her friend in school.

A few months ago, Faiz and Faryal found out that their son was suffering from cancer and needed an urgent bone marrow transplant. The only one who matched was Armaan. She wanted to help him and she even asked her parents to let her do this for him.

Her first best friend helped her whenever she was in need especially when there were bullies involved.

After the successful surgery, Yusuf was told that he might need a few chemo treatments just to make sure that the cancer doesn't come back.

These are one of the many reasons that they wanted to leave the country so that they could get the treatments done.

"Okay dad but remember to give uncle Fahd your email address so that I could ask him how Yusuf is", Armaan tells her father who reluctantly agreed while his wife was trying to hold her laughter.

Fahd has one weakness and that's his daughter Armaan.

"Okay, I will do that. Now, go and have lunch before they arrive home", Fahd tells her. He then takes her hand and leads her to the dining room to have their lunch.

Maybe one day, he will come back, and maybe just maybe we will still be friends. As Khala Hayat says Allah knows best.

After they had their lunch, Armaan was waiting for Yusuf to arrive patiently but she wasn't as patient as she would have wanted to be.

"Mamma, please call them...."

Armaan couldn't even finish what she was saying when she heard the bell ring and quickly rushed to open the door despite her parents warning her against opening the door to strangers.

"Armaan, no. What did we tell you? Your mamma and me will open the door, okay?"

Fahd stopped her just in time and then opened the door for the guests to come in.

"Asalam aleikum, come in", Fahd gestured for Faryal and her family to come in.

"Waleikum salaam. Thank you for inviting us. Yusuf has been trying to make us come earlier but we knew that you might be busy", Faiz tells him while looking at the two kids who started playing without any care in the world.

"Yes, I understand. Armaan even told Fahd to hire you at the company which he agreed to what she said...."

"I don't want that. I am sorry is that came out wrongly, but what I meant is that I want to work on my own. And to be where I want to be. Especially now that we will have a baby brother/sister soon in shaa Allah", Faiz explains to Fahd who couldn't help but look at his wife.

"I know what you mean but Armaan wanted me to promise that you will send her an email about Yusuf. And also to make an email for him when he is older...."

"Our kids do think alike. Because Yusuf asked me to do the same thing that Armaan told you. I pray that they will always remain best friends even if after their separation", Faiz tells him.

Their friendship is unique and one that shouldn't be taken lightly especially when a separation is about to happen.

The day for Yusuf and his parents to leave the country arrived. Armaan felt sad but Yusuf knew exactly what to do to make sure that she doesn't forget him.

"This is for you", Yusuf says to her and gives her a necklace that was half a heart while he had the other half with him. "Take this and wear it so that you wont forget me and I will do that same, okay?", he added.

"Okay, I will never take it off until we met again. Which will be soon in shaa Allah", Armaan says to him while putting on the necklace that held half of the heart.

 Armaan and her parents watched as Yusuf boarded the plane. She knew that he will have to come back even if it is after a few years.

"Are you alright, habibty", her father asks her.

"I will be fine, dad. I promise you. And after this can we get ice cream, please", she asks her father who smiled at her knowing that this was her mother's craving.

"Okay, let's go then", Fahd tells them and then turned to his wife. "You know that you can tell me of you have any type of cravings even if it is in the middle of the night. I will get it for you", he added.

"This time I didn't tell her anything. She needs this to cure her heartache...."

"No, she is just six years old which means she will not have a boyfriend until I say so", Fahd tells his wife. "Until she is 60 years old", he added and then starts the car to go to the ice cream parlor.

Hanan couldn't help but shake her head because when it comes to Armaan, Fahd would do anything for her no matter what it was.

Fahd looked at his daughter who was looking at the necklace that she was given by Yusuf and smiled at her face.

"Our daughter is one of a kind. Whoever will have her in their lives will need more than patience and they will need luck to be with her", Fahd tells his wife who shook her head and smiles knowing he was right.

No one will be able to hurt or even try to lie to their daughter because she will have the strength of her parents and her family.

Armaan smiled knowing that he will come back because he made a promise to her before he left with his parents.

"I promise that I will come back for you, my Aru", he whispers in her ears when he gave her the necklace.

"Are you sure that you wont find anyone to replace me there?", Armaan asks him.

"I promise that you will always be the one that I will never forget and when I come back I will....."

He couldn't even finish what he was saying when his parents came to tell him that they need to board their flight.

"But you didn't finish...."

"Don't worry, I will finish what I wanted to say when I get back. Take care of yourself", he tells her.

This memory will live in her heart and mind until the day that Yusuf comes back.
