Sofia was with Lydia and Jackson after the two had insisted on cheering her up after her breakup with Scott. "Now Hoosiers is not only the best basketball movie ever it is the best sports movie ever made" Jackson said.

"No" Lydia said. "It's got Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper" Jackson said. "No" Lydia said.

"Lydia, I swear you're gonna like it" Jackson said. "No" Lydia said. "I am not watching the notebook again" Jackson said.

"You know you're going to give in like last time and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that" Sofia said. Lydia had whispered something in Jackson's ear.

"Come on Sof help me find it" Jackson said and Sofia and Jackson got out of the car going to look for the movie.

"Can somebody help us find the notebook" Jackson asked. "Hello, is anybody working here" Jackson asked again.

"You gotta be kidding me" Jackson said. "Where is everyone" Sofia asked. "No idea come on" Jackson said and Sofia followed Jackson. Jackson and Sofia both had saw a dead body. "Is that" Sofia asked. "Yeah" Jackson said.

Jackson and Sofia then heard a low growling. Sofia pulled Jackson to hide behind a bookshelf.

Bookshelves had started to fall as Jackson pushed Sofia out of the way jumping out himself just in time.

Sofia had saw the alpha on top of Jackson as he observed Jackson's neck howling before he saw Sofia and she was about to run, and he ran to her pulling her down as she panicked and screamed.

The alpha had scratched her as she used her arms to shield her face and then the alpha heard police alarms as he quickly ran off.

"Why can't I just go home I'm fine" Jackson said. "I hear ya but the EMT says you hit your head pretty hard they just wanna make sure you don't have a concussion" Noah said. 

"What part of I'm fine are you having a problem grasping okay I wanna go home" Jackson said.  "And I understand that" Noah said. 

"No, you don't understand which kind of blows my mind since it should be a pretty basic concept to grasp for a minimum wage rent a cop like you okay now I wanna go home" Jackson said.

"Sofia you okay" Noah asked as she quickly hid her arm. "Yeah, fine oh there's my dad bye Sheriff" Sofia said as she quickly left.

Sofia was at home looking at the scratch on her arm when she felt a gust of wind and when she looked up, she saw Derek.

"Derek" Sofia said. "Hey, I heard the alpha attacked you" Derek said. "Are you okay" Derek asked. "Yeah, it's just a scratch" Sofia said. "Let me see" Derek said walking closer to her.

Derek had examined her scratch. "Why didn't he kill you" Derek asked. "Probably because of the police car sirens" Sofia said.

"Yeah maybe" Derek said. "You should probably keep that covered up just in case" Derek said after a moment.

"Okay will do" Sofia said and smiled at him and Derek couldn't help but smile back almost like her smile was contagious. "I uh should probably go let you get some rest" Derek said breaking the silence.

"Yeah, yeah of course see you around" Sofia said. "Yeah, see you" Derek said and left through the window.

"Just a friendly reminder parent teacher conferences are tonight students below a c average are required to attend I won't name you because the shame and self-disgust should be more than enough punishment" Mr. Harris said.

"Has anyone seen Scott McCall" Mr. Harris asked and Jackson and Sofia walked in going to their seats.

"Hey Jackson if you need to leave early for any reason you let me know" Mr. Harris told Jackson who nodded. "Same goes for you Sofia" Mr. Harris told Sofia who nodded.

"Everyone, start reading chapter nine Mr. Stilinski, try putting the highlighter down between paragraphs it's chemistry not a coloring book" Mr. Harris said.

"Hey Danny, can I ask you a question" Stiles asked Danny. "No" Danny said.

"Well, I'm going to anyway did Lydia show up in your homeroom today" Stiles asked. "No" Danny said.

"Can I ask you another question" Stiles asked. "Answer's still no" Danny said. "Does anyone know what happened to her Sofia and Jackson last night" Stiles asked.

"He wouldn't tell me" Danny said. "But he's your best friend" Stiles said.

"One more question" Stiles said after a moment. "What" Danny said. "Do you find me attractive" Stiles asked and Danny seemed confused. Stiles had nearly fell out of his chair till he caught his balance.

Sofia had gone to the Hale House after school, and she saw Derek working out.

Derek had noticed her and smiled a little. "What are you doing here" Derek asked. "Is it a crime to visit a friend" Sofia asked. "No just surprised me is all" Derek said.

"Well, you're always surprising me figured this time I surprise you" Sofia said and Derek chuckled jumping down doing pushups when he heard footsteps.

He had gotten up grabbed Sofia's hand and led her upstairs to hide. "What are you doing" Sofia asked. "Someone's here" Derek said. "Who" Sofia asked. "Hunters" Derek said. "No one's home" a hunter said. "Oh, he's here he's just not feeling particularly hospitable" Kate said.

"Maybe he's out burying a bone in the backyard" a hunter said. "Really a dog joke we're going there and that's the best you got" Kate asked.

"If you wanna provoke him, say something like too bad your sister bit it before she had her first litter too bad, she howled like a wuss when we cut her in half" Kate said yelling the last part and Sofia saw Derek going towards her.

"Derek, Derek no it's a trap" Sofia said but it was too late. Derek had launched at Kate after knocking out the two hunters going to attack her only to get shocked.

"Wow this one grew up in all the right places I don't know whether to kill it or lick it" Kate said.

Derek had used a couch to try to get up and launched at Kate again, but Kate had shocked him.

"900, 000 volts you never were good with electricity were you or fire" Kate said. "Which is why I'm gonna let you on a little secret and well maybe we can help each other out yes your sister was severed into pieces and used as bait to try to catch you unpleasant and frankly a little too Texas chainsaw massacre for my taste, but quite true" Kate said, and Derek managed to sit up against a wall.

Sofia went to help but Derek shook his head. "Now here's the part that might really kick you in your balls we didn't kill her" Kate said and Derek looked at her.

"You think I'm lying" Kate asked. "Wouldn't be the first time" Derek said. "Sweetie well" Kate said bending down to him.

"Why don't you just listen to my heart and tell me if I am okay, we didn't kill your sister" Kate said. Derek had heard her heartbeat was steady after each word she spoke slowly. 

"Do you hear that there's no blips or upticks just the steady beat of the cold hard truth" Kate said and got up.

"Found bite marks on your sister's body Derek what do you think did that a mountain lion why aren't we helping each other out you might as well admit what you've been guessing all along which is the alpha killed your sister all you have to do is tell us who he is and we'll take care of it for you problem solved everybody goes home happy" Kate said and Derek stayed silent.

"Unless you don't know who he is either well guess who just became totally useless" Kate said and once Derek saw what she was doing he ran to Sofia putting her over his shoulder running out of there as fast as he could.

Derek brought Sofia home and he closed the door behind him. "Are you okay" Derek asked.

"I'm fine" Sofia said. "Where's your dad" Derek asked. "Business trip he gets them a lot I'm usually home alone" Sofia said and Derek nodded.

"You sure you're okay she didn't get you" Derek asked. "Derek I'm fine stop worrying you saved me before the bullets could get to me, I wouldn't lie to you unless you gave me a reason to" Sofia said.

"I just care about you after what Scott did to you, I don't want you hurt in any way emotional or physical" Derek said and Sofia smiled.

"I promise I'm okay and if it makes you feel better you can stay over for dinner, I can order pizza or Chinese" Sofia said. "Sounds great" Derek said and Sofia had ordered food.

As soon as the food arrived, they had spent the night talking laughing just enjoying being together not even caring what the time was till Derek eventually left so Sofia could get some rest.
