Scott, Stiles, and Sofia were in class when Scott had informed them about Derek not being the alpha or being the one who bit Scott. "If Derek isn't the alpha if he's not the one who bit you then who did" Stiles asked.

"I don't know" Scott said.  "Did the alpha kill the bus driver" Stiles asked. "I don't know" Scott said. 

"Does Allison's dad know about the" Stiles asked. "I don't know" Scott said annoyed.

The teacher gave Sofia and Stiles their grade before moving to the front of the class. Sofia and Stiles had noticed Scott's grade.

"Dude, you need to study more" Stiles said.  "That was a joke Scott it's one test you're gonna make it up" Stiles said. "Do you want help studying" Stiles asked.

"No, I'm studying with Allison after school today" Scott said. "Your what now" Sofia asked. "As friends of course I already promised her" Scott said.

Sofia sighed looking down. "Sof" Scott tried to say. "Don't" Sofia said, and Scott sighed.

Sofia was walking in the halls when she bumped into someone nearly falling but he luckily caught her. "Derek" Sofia said once she looked up.

"Sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was going" Sofia said. "It's fine do you know where Scott is" Derek asked. "I think he's outside" Sofia said. "You okay" Sofia asked.

"You don't look so good" Sofia said. "I got shot I need Scott's help" Derek said.

"Okay come on let's go find him" Sofia said and led Derek outside in front of Stiles's jeep when he was about to drive but stopped seeing them.

Derek fell to the ground and Scott and Stiles came over to him. "What are you doing here" Scott asked Derek. "I was shot" Derek said. "He's not looking so good dude" Stiles said. 

"Why aren't you healing" Scott asked. "Maybe because he can't" Sofia said.

"It was a different kind of bullet" Derek said. "A silver bullet" Stiles asked. "No, you idiot" Derek said.

"Wait that's what she meant when she said you had 48 hours" Scott said. "What who said 48 hours" Derek asked. "The one who shot you" Scott said and Derek's eyes started to glow.

"What are you doing" Scott asked. "Stop that" Scott said. "I don't think he can help it" Sofia said. "She's right I can't" Derek said.

"Derek get up" Scott said and people started getting out of their cars to see what the holdup was. "Help me put him in your car" Scott told Stiles. "I have to go I'll see you around Derek please don't die on me" Sofia said running off.

Stiles asked Sofia to go to Allison's to see why Scott wasn't answering his phone. She had gone in after not hearing anyone answer the door she had went upstairs after not finding him downstairs.

Sofia went in Allison's room seeing a sight she wished she hadn't seen.

Scott had pulled away from the kiss with Allison after seeing Sofia. "Sofia it's not what it looks like" Scott said.

"Really because it looks look my boyfriend is cheating on me you know I knew something was going on between you two it was obvious" Sofia said. "Boyfriend oh crap" Allison said sitting up.

"Sofia I am so sorry okay he told me you were just friends I am really sorry" Allison said.

"Don't be it doesn't matter I knew something changed the moment he laid eyes on you he's all yours" Sofia said and left.

Sofia had gone to the vet clinic seeing Stiles and Derek while Derek had happened to notice tears on her face. "Fia" Derek said. "I'm fine" Sofia said. "Sof" Stiles said.

"Stiles just drop it" Sofia said. "That doesn't look good" Sofia said to Derek. "When the infection reaches my heart, it'll kill me" Derek said.

"Positively just isn't in your vocabulary is it" Stiles asked Derek. "If he doesn't get here with the bullet in time last resort" Derek said looking for something. "Which is" Stiles asked. "You're going to cut off my arm" Derek said holding a saw.

"What if you bleed to death" Stiles asked. "It'll heal if it works" Derek said. "Look I don't know if I can do this" Stiles said. "Why not" Derek asked.

"Well because of the cutting through the flesh the sawing of the bone and especially the blood" Stiles said. "You faint at the sight of blood" Derek asked.

"No but I might at the sight of a chopped off arm" Stiles said. "Oh, for crying out loud give it to me I'll do it" Sofia said grabbing it. Derek threw up black liquid.

"What is that" Stiles asked. "It's my body it is trying to heal itself" Derek said.

"Well, it's not doing a very good job at it" Stiles said. "Okay here we go" Sofia said about to use the saw when Scott walked in. "Sofia what are you doing" Scott asked.

"Nothing now" Sofia said putting the saw down. "Oh, you just prevented a lifetime of nightmares" Stiles said.

"Says the guy who wasn't man enough to do it" Sofia said. "Sof" Scott said. "What's that cheater" Sofia said. "Wait cheater you cheated on Sofia" Stiles yelled at Scott.

"Stiles not now right now let's focus on Derek" Sofia said. "Did you get it" Derek asked Scott.

Scott gave him the bullet. "What are you gonna do with it" Stiles asked. "I'm gonna, I'm gonna" Derek said before he fell to the ground.

"No don't, no, no, no" Scott said going to try to get the bullet. Sofia had bent down to Derek trying to wake him up. Stiles had bent down next to Sofia trying to help.

"Derek, Derek come on wake up" Stiles said. "Scott what are we gonna do" Stiles asked.

"Come on Derek don't leave me come on" Sofia said and Stiles looked at her after what she said. "I don't know I can't reach it" Scott said.

"He's not waking up I think he's dying I think he's dead" Stiles said.

"Don't say that okay he's not dead not on my watch" Sofia said. "I got it, I got it" Scott said finally having ahold of the bullet.

"Please don't kill me for this" Stiles said going to punch Derek before Sofia stopped him. "Allow me" Sofia said and kissed Derek and for some odd reason she had felt sparks when she kissed him.

When she pulled away, she saw his eyes open and as he looked at her, he too felt sparks. Sofia had helped him to his feet.

"Give me that" Derek told Scott and he did.  Derek had bit the capsule to the bullet off  and lit it on fire. He had put what was inside the bullet on his arm screaming in pain falling to the ground as it had healed.

"That was awesome yes" Stiles said. "Would you shut up" Sofia said to Stiles and Derek had sat up.

"Are you okay" Scott asked Derek and Sofia offered him a hand up which he took. "Except for the agonizing pain" Derek said.

"I'm guessing the ability to use sarcasm is a good sign of health" Stiles said.

"Okay we saved your life which means you're gonna leave us alone" Scott said. "Actually, he can be around me as much as he wants unlike you" Sofia said.

Scott had ignored Sofia. "You got that and if you don't, I'm gonna go back to Allison's dad and I'm gonna tell him everything" Scott said.

"And Sofia if we can just" Scott said going towards Sofia who backed up to Derek. Derek had noticed and put his arm in front of her shielding her from Scott.

"You gonna trust them you think they can help you" Derek asked. "Why not they're a lot freaking nicer than you are" Scott said.

"Yeah, I can show you exactly how nice they are" Derek said. "Need a ride home" Derek asked Sofia. "Yeah thanks" Sofia said and Derek nodded leaving with her with Scott not too far behind.

After Derek took Sofia home, she had filled Lydia, Jackson, and Isaac in on what had happened. She had heard a knock on the door, and she got up and answered it.

"Scott" Sofia said. "Look Sofia I'm sorry okay I am I love you, you know that" Scott said.

"If you loved me, you wouldn't have done what you did" Sofia said. "Sof" Scott said. "I am glad you stopped by here" Sofia said handing him a box.

"It's a box of everything you had ever given me any anniversary birthday whatever it's all there" Sofia said. "Sof I'm sorry" Scott said. "You keep saying sorry, but you keep doing it I'll make it easy for you pick her cause if you truly loved me there wouldn't be a second choice" Sofia said.

"Sofia" Scott said. "We're done Scott for good goodbye" Sofia said slamming the door in his face running to her room.

To her surprise she saw Derek sitting on the bed as she closed the door behind her. "Derek what are you doing here" Sofia asked and sat next to Derek. "I wanted to see if you were okay" Derek said.

"My boyfriend cheated on me well ex but still" Sofia said and Derek laughed a little.

"He doesn't deserve you or your beautiful loving heart you deserve someone who would give you the world in a heartbeat someone who wouldn't dream of ever hurting you or letting you go someone who would do everything they can to keep you happy and loved" Derek said and Sofia looked at him.

"Any guy would be lucky to have you he doesn't know what he's missing" Derek said and Sofia smiled.

"Thanks Derek I needed that" Sofia said. "Anytime" Derek said.

"Lay down I'm not going anywhere not yet" Derek said and Sofia smiled before laying on his lap as Derek played with her hair.
