"So, then she starts talking about phosphors and the key having chemicals on it right" Stiles said after Sofia and Scott met up with him.

"And so that made me think of the chemistry closet and the fact that someone had to let Barrow in" Stiles said but stopped after seeing the chalkboard empty. "It's gone" Stiles said.

"Okay it doesn't matter though it doesn't matter I still got the key" Stiles said looking for the keys seeing he no longer had the key.

"I had it, I had it here, I had it this morning, I swear to you I had it this morning" Stiles said. "The key you were talking about last night" Scott asked.

"Yeah, I showed to you two right didn't I show it you guys" Stiles asked. "No, I don't think so" Sofia said. You just told us about it we never actually saw it" Scott said.

"I was here a couple of hours ago and the message left to Barrow spelling Kira's name was right there on the board in my handwriting and I had the key to the chemistry closet" Stiles said.

"So, you unlocked the chemistry closet so Barrow could hide in it from the cops and then you wrote him a message to kill Kira" Scott said.

"I know how it sounds but look at this, this is the news report that came out about Barrow when they caught him okay about the shrapnel bomb that he used see this see what he did he put nuts bolts and screws and then he hid the bomb and the detonator in a box that he wrapped as a birthday present" Stiles said.

"What does that sound like to you" Stiles asked. "Coach the joke we played on coach" Scott said.

"Yeah, you guys did while I was asleep next to my boyfriend" Sofia said. "That was my idea" Stiles said.

"You remember that was my idea that's no coincidence it can't be" Stiles said.

"I don't want to sound like I'm trying to tell you that you're wrong, but I don't think you're trying to kill people either" Scott said. "It was here, it was all here" Stiles said.

"Dude, are you feeling okay" Scott asked. "Yeah, you don't look like you're okay" Sofia said. "You're looking really tired" Scott added.

"Yeah, I'm fine I just haven't been sleeping really" Stiles said. "Why don't you go home take a sick day or something" Scott said and Stiles patted Scott before looking back at the board.

"The real problem is Katashi doesn't see visitors ever he's a paranoid recluse who rarely steps outside the gates of his estate" Argent told Allison and Issac. "So how are you going to get to him" Issac asked.

"Oh, he's got a thing for rare antique weapons yesterday I had some contacts put out the word that I was selling one from my own collection" Argent said and pulled out a weapon.

"This is a French flintlock turnover pistol from 1645" Argent said. "You're not going alone" Allison said. "If she's going, I'm going" Issac said.

"To be honest I don't feel good about bringing either one of you" Argent said. "They were looking right at Scott when the sun came up" Issac said.

"Well, that doesn't necessarily mean he's the one they're going after" Argent said.

"But if he is" Allison asked. "If he is that might only leave us till nightfall to come up with a way to protect him" Argent said.

"Alright let's go see if a paranoid yakuza wants to put another gun in his collection" Issac said.

"What is it" Allison asked her dad as they were in the car, and he got a message. "Katashi won't do the buy in person" Argent said.

"But he's a paranoid recluse shouldn't you be a little less surprised" Issac asked.

"I was trying to remain optimistic that we wouldn't have to go to my Plan B" Argent said. "Plan B and what's Plan B" Issac asked.

"How tall are you" Argent asked and opened the trunk as Issac saw.

"Katashi's office is here" Argent said showing Allison. "Guys" Issac said, and Argent and Allison looked.

"This isn't going to work I look ridiculous" Issac said and moved towards them. "I mean I look like I just stepped out of the last period of a Catholic prep school and there is no way that I'm going to be able to remember all this" Issac said.

"I mean what does this even mean revolving over and under barrels" Issac asked.

"All you have to do is keep them talking long enough to allow us to get inside and find Katashi he may not be there for the buy in person, but he won't be far" Argent said.

"You look great" Allison said. "I am sweating all the way through my jacket I didn't even know I could sweat this much" Issac said.

"Give me a second" Allison said and led Issac away and Argent left to give them privacy.

"You can do this you're not a boy if you walk in there acting like a man okay go in there with confidence and all they'll see is a boyish looking man" Allison said.

"Or a stupid teenager pretending to be a man I'm going to get my head blown off by a bunch of Japanese fingerless monsters" Issac said and saw Allison was about to pull him in a kiss and quickly stepped out of her hold.

"What are you doing" Issac asked Allison. "I, I thought" Allison said. "You thought wrong" Issac said and Allison looked embarrassed.

"As much as I like you I can't you hurt Sofia and she comes first she always comes first" Issac said and Allison nodded. "I'm sorry" Allison said. "Yeah, tell that to her" Issac said and left.

Derek and Sofia were following Scott as Sofia was in the passenger side with Derek in the drivers. "I thought this was a date" Sofia said annoyed.

"It is a date" Derek said. "Really because I don't remember following my ex-boyfriend around with his potential new girlfriend being considered a date" Sofia remarked.

"We have to make sure he's okay you saw what happened back there what they did to you whatever those things are they were looking right at him you know better than anyone we have to keep him and her safe I know she's your friend too" Derek said.

"Fine but you better make it up to me" Sofia said and Derek smiled and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "I will Fia promise" Derek said.

Sofia and Derek ran in roaring after seeing the creatures in Scott's house.

They all started fighting luring the creatures out of the house so Melissa could put down the mountain ash.

"Starting to remember it was 24 years ago" Argent told Katashi and Katashi nodded at Kincaid who let go of Issac. "You know what they are don't you" Argent said.

"They're called Oni they are demons, and they are unstoppable" Katashi said.

"All the baseboards are ash wood" Derek asked Scott. "Uh yeah it was Deaton's idea" Scott said.  "And where did you two come from" Scott asked.

"We been following you" Derek said. "For how long" Scott asked.

"All day, all day" Sofia said walking off annoyed. "Fia baby" Derek said. "Fia" Derek said and followed her.

"Then how do we endure it" Allison asked. "One of you already has" Katashi said and shown the number on Issac to them.

"This is Japanese kanji for self this means he is still himself the Oni are looking for one who is no longer themselves" Katashi said. "What do you mean no longer themselves" Argent asked. "Possessed by a dark spirit" Katashi said.

Just as Sofia saw what Aiden did to Kira, she went to them being unnoticed and tossed him across the room. "You didn't have to do that" Kira said.

"Of course, I did your, my friend" Sofia said and Kira smiled. "Are you okay" Sofia asked. "I'm fine thanks" Kira said, and Sofia smiled at her.

"So, what are you" Aiden asked. "She's a kitsune idiot" Derek said coming in the room. "Use your eyes you can see it all around her the younger ones give off an aura she just hasn't learned how to conceal it, yet she probably doesn't know what kind she is either" Derek said.

"That's right he was possessed by a nogisune it's what helped him rise through the ranks of our yakuza family Nogisune draws its power from pain and tragedy strife and chaos" Katashi said.

"I wasn't going to hurt her" Aiden said. "Really because it didn't seem that way" Sofia remarked. "Not yet" Derek said.

"Why do you think we're here Derek for study group we're here to protect Scott" Aiden said.

"We're trying to fight for him" Ethan said. "I'm sure you are I'm sure you'd kill for him" Derek said and then turned facing them. "But are you willing to die for him" Derek asked.

"Do you know why I'm missing this finger" Katashi asked. "Penance" Argent said.

"There's a ritual called yubitsune removing the joints of the little finger weakens your grip on a sword when a katana is gripped properly the little finger is the strongest" Katashi said. "Why did they take your finger" Issac asked.

"They didn't take it a yakuza performs the ritual himself and offers it to his superior it was a penance for a mistake and it wasn't my only one I don't know what it was about the way I moved or stood that suggested to them that I was going to take them on because actually I was preparing to run for my life that shot you fired saved me from looking like a coward before the survivors for that humiliation I wouldn't have to have given up my finger I would've had to give up my head I wish I could give you the answer you need Mr. Argent I owe you more than my life I owe you my honor I will tell you one thing however if there is a nogitsune among you let the Oni destroy it even if it is your own daughter" Katashi said.

The Oni were testing for weaknesses as Scott and Kira came in. "What are they doing" Scott asked.

"Testing for weaknesses" Ethan said. "And it's working " Sofia said seeing stuff around the house was breaking.

They put their hand through the barrier trying to get in. "Guys" Ethan said. "We have a problem" he added and Scott called Allison.

"Allison please tell me that you have something they're here they're trying to get in and it looks like they're gonna be able to do it" Scott said.

"Okay, okay listen they're Japanese demons they're called the Oni they're looking for someone possessed someone with a dark spirit attached to them" Allison said.

"A dark spirit why am I not surprised" Sofia said hearing the conversation with her supernatural hearing. "A nogitsune" Scott said.

"How'd you know that" Allison asked. "Scott" she asked again. "Just tell me what else" Scott said.

"Okay they won't hurt you they know you're supernatural but once they do this check once they realize that you're not carrying with you this dark spirit then they won't hurt you I promise all they're looking for is the nogitsune" Allison said.

"I'm, right aren't I" Kira asked Scott. "They're looking for me" Kira said. "They're looking for a dark spirit and I know it's not you" Scott said.

"Scott we're going to have to do something" Derek said and the Oni got through breaking the barrier.

"Don't do anything" Scott said. "Is he serious" Aiden asked. The Oni got closer.

"I said don't do anything" Scott said. Scott looked at Kira offering his hand. "Trust me" he told her. Scott and Kira walked over to the Oni. They grabbed them both looking at them deeply before dropping them and leaving.

Derek and Sofia were the first ones to rush over to Scott to make sure he's okay and Sofia went to Kira making sure she was okay.

After everything that happened, and Derek and Sofia knew Scott and Kira were okay they had gone home for the night. After promising to make it up to Sofia Derek ordered dinner from Sofia's favorite place.

Derek laid down beside Sofia breathing heavily. "Forgiven" Derek asked. "Yeah, yeah that will work" Sofia said.

"If I knew sex would work, I wouldn't have ordered food" Derek said jokingly and Sofia playfully hit him before laying on his chest and Derek put his arm around her kissing her forehead.

"I love you" Sofia said. "I love you too" Derek told Sofia who smiled at him.

"I don't know what I would have done if I never met you" Sofia said. "Probably still be with Scott" Derek said playing with Sofia's hair.

"Ugh don't remind me" Sofia said and Derek laughed. "You know in a way we have to thank Scott if he hadn't cheated then we never would have got together or fall in love" Sofia said. "Yeah, I guess your right" Derek said.
