“I can't believe you just did that, Alpha!” galit na saad ni Prince.

“I can't see what's wrong with the decision I made,” sagot ni Ethan habang kalmado at abala sa pag-aayos ng mga papel na nasa kaniyang lamesa.

“Then you're blind!” sigaw ni Prince.

“Mind your words, Prince,” sabi ni Ethan.

Tumindig si Zylan at pinigilan si Prince. “Alpha’s decision is the best for us.”

“See? Even Zylan is agreeing with me. Kaya kumalma ka na, okay?” mahinahong sinabi ni Ethan.

“There is no way in hell that I would be cooperating with a blood sucking creature!” suway nito.

“No one wants to, in the very first place. But you have to understand that we have to join forces in able to trap that secret organization and stop them from threatening us,” saad ni Ethan at tinignan sa mata si Prince.

Prince stubbornly stomped his foot. “Ethan!”

“Alright there, buddy. You'll be fine. I called Carlos and he's on his way. I knew he's the only one who can calm you down. Don't let him see you like this,” sabi ni Ethan at tumayo mula sa kaniyang kinauupuan.

“You even called my mate? What if a blood sucking creature drank his blood? He's just a fragile human...” pahina nang pahina ang kaniyang boses.

“As far as I know, they're very restrained. Kung gusto mong mapanatag, Carlos and Alpas can stay in the safe room,” sabi ni Ethan habang tinatapik ang balikat ni Prince.

“Zylan, I'll help you to train and monitor everyone this time,” saad ulit ni Ethan.

“I appreciate it, Alpha. Thank you,” pagpapasalamat nito habang nakangiti.

“Prince, I've told you this a couple of times already—please, learn how to calm down and fix that anger issue of yours if you can,” sambit ni Ethan bago lumabas.

Naka-salubong niya si Carlos at napangiti si Ethan. “He's inside my office.”

Akmang aalis na si Ethan ngunit pinigilan agad ito ni Carlos. “Wait—hindi ko alam ang gagawin,” Carlos whispered.

“Samahan mo lang siya. Trust me, with your presence, he will surely calm down,” Ethan assured him.

Humginga ng malalim si Carlos at tumango. “Okay,” maikling sambit nito.

Ngumiti muli si Ethan at ginulo ang buhok ni Carlos bago naglakad patungo sa ika-apat na palapag.

Alam na ni Carlos ang tungkol sa kanila dahil nadulas si Prince noong kaarawan ni Ethan habang nag-iinuman sila. Ilang araw din silang iniwasan ni Carlos. Nang kumalma ito, nagkaroon ulit siya ng contact kay Ethan. Ang alam niya lang na werewolves sila at wala pa siyang ideya patungkol sa mga partner ng werewolves—mates. Pero sobrang gaan ng pakiramdam niya kay Prince at napapabilis din nito ang tibok ng kaniyang puso.

Nagpakawala siya ng malalim na hininga bago pumasok sa opisina ni Ethan. Nang makita siya ni Zylan, ngumiti ito at lumabas ng mabilisan.

“Hi,” maikling pagbati ni Carlos habang marahan na umupo sa tabi ni Prince.

Kitang-kita niya ang pagkuyom ng kaniyang panga at hindi ipagkaka-ila ni Carlos na nagagwapuhan siya kay Prince.

“Carlos you better stay away from me or I would sink my fangs in your neck to mark you as mine,” sabi ni Prince at bumilis ang paghinga nito. He's at the end of his restrain and he just can't help himself whenever he took a whiff of his mate's alluring cranberry scent.

“M-mark, as yours? Anong sinasabi mo, Prince?” tanong nito.

“You're my mate, Carlos,” walang preno na inamin ni Prince at tumitig sa mga mata nito.

Carlos watched in awe when Prince’s eyes immediately glowed in wonderful golden color. He was too fascinated to speak.

“M-mate?”

“Every werewolves has only one mate, our other halves who will complete our lives. I'm so lucky I found mine but did you know how difficult it is not to mark you? If you still don't understand, have you seen the mark on Alpas’ neck? That's Ethan's mark. They were mates and they're made for each other. And WE are made for EACH OTHER.” Prince said in one go.

The silence prevailed inside the room and Prince patiently waited for Carlos to process what he just said.

“W-will it hurt to be marked?” Carlos asked nervously.

“I will just bite you and do that thing- wait, why are you asking me this?” nagtatakang tanong ni Prince.

“W-what thing?” Carlos asked.

“Make love,” Prince answered.

Natahimik si Carlos at napakagat sa kaniyang ibabang labi. Agad naman na iniwas ni Prince ang kaniyang tingin at napalunok. Lahat ng galit niya kanina ay naglaho at napalitan ng hiya. They were both looking at the side with a evident blush on their cheeks.

Carlos didn't know Prince for a long time but he always have a homey vibe coming from him. He felt like he belongs to him from the start.

With a final decision, Carlos soft whispered, “Then M-mark me.”

Kaagad na napalingon sa kaniya si Prince. “Say that again?”

Pumikit si Carlos at lumunok. “M-Mark me, Prince.”

Carlos almost jumped at marked him right inside Ethan's office but he controlled himself.

“Sure ka na? I don't want you to regret anything. We can take it slow and I'll restrain myself while patiently waiting for you. J-just don't reject m—” napatigil ito sa pagsasalita ng siniil siya ng halik ni Carlos.

It was a clumsy approach and it feels like it was Carlos' first kiss but it still stunned Prince and shook him to the core. Heat rose in him and he slowly closed his eyes and held his mate’s nape to deepen the kiss. Sparks were exploding everywhere and both of them can feel the electrifying energy between them. A tear escaped from Prince’s tightly shut eyes and he greedily tasted his mate's hot mouth with his tongue.

It was Carlos' first kiss and it was already so intense. He squeezed both of Prince's shoulder to remind him that he's running out of oxygen.

Prince pulled back and he rested his forehead against Carlos'. He let out a laugh in pure happiness and he helped his mate to wipe his lips.

“Breathe, C,” Prince said softly and he caressed his mate's back.

Carlos was panting softly and he leaned forward to kiss Prince again. He wanted more.

Prince was delighted. As much as he wanted to do and mark his mate, he was still conscious enough not to do it inside Ethan's office.

“Let’s go to my room,” he said after pulling back from the kiss.

Carlos mind has completely melted and he can only nod in agreement. Prince noticed the tent between his mate's legs and he couldn't help but to chuckle in amusement.

Carlos’ blushing face turned completely red and he turned around in embarrassment.

“No need to be shy, C. Mine reacted too. Feel it,” Prince said and he led his mate's hand to his clothed member.

Carlos quickly shook his hand and ran outside Ethan's office.

“Wait!” natatawang sabi ni Prince at sinundan niya ito.

Sa kabilang banda, nilapatan ng halik ni Ethan ang kamay ni Alpas. Kasalukuyan silang naka-upo sa window seat at pinagmamasdan ang mga sanga ng puno na para bang sumasayaw kapag may malakas na hangin.

Alpas was sitting between Ethan's legs while resting his back against the other male's chest.

“Do you think Prince would mark him?” Alpas asked softly.

“Hmn. With his mate's permission, why not?” Ethan replied and he bent to kiss his own mark placed on Alpas’ neck.

Alpas titled his head to give him more access.

“Ethan?” Alpas whispered.

“Hmn?” Ethan hummed while showering Alpas’ neck with open mouth kisses.

“W-will you be safe? Gusto kitang samahan. Don't just keep me here,” Alpas said softly.

Napatigil si Ethan at humigpit ang kaniyang yakap. “I'll be fine and no—you have to understand that you have to stay here, love.”

“H-hindi ako mapanatag,” bulong ni Alpas.

“The pups of the pack need you here, okay? You'll be safe here,” saad ni Ethan.

“Ano, safe ako tapos ikaw?” Alpas persisted.

“Mag-iingat ako para sa 'yo. Relax ka lang, love. Uuwi pa rin ako sa 'yo,” nakangiting sinabi ni Ethan.

Alpas sighed in defeat. “O-okay,” he said helplessly.

“Good,” Ethan said and he rubbed circles against Alpas’ stomach to soothe him.

He lifted his shirt to feel his skin more. The intimate act surely calmed Alpas down but he can feel the surging waves in his heart.

“Mag-ingat, Ethan Keith, ah?” payo ni Alpas.

“Rest assured,” Ethan whispered.

Alpas didn't speak anymore. Kinakabahan siya sa plano nilang paghuhuli sa secret organization. He felt so useless because he can't help but Ethan assured him that he's needed in the pack house. A sense of responsibility is brewing inside Alpas and he decided to just stay in the house whilst he can't still accept the fact that Ethan and the warriors will be out there to take a dangerous action.

He can't do anything but to hope that everything will be alright.

A/N: Hello! Next week is finals’ week na’t year-end party at hindi ko alam kung makakapag-update ako huhu. I'm telling this to inform you guys in advance. Kung sakali mang wala akong ma-update next week, alam niyo na hehe. But before this year ends, try ko na 'tong tapusin then I will start working on HLV (His Little Vampire) hehe.
