"hmm so can you tell me address of your apartment?" I asked hoseok as we were standing on the bus stand waiting for our bus

"Ohh yeah" he scratched the back of his head "if you don't mind I can show you the way if you have time now?" He said

I thought for a bit and then gave it a go because I don't have time to move out from my house too the more quicker it is the more easier it will be

"Okay" I replied

"Good then"

Our bus arrived and we both got on it.
As always I got a window seat and then sat on it blankly looking outside thinking what should I do now I have to take responsibility of everything from now on my own.

Hoseok's p.o.v

I was happy I can help her beside she is now feeling so comfortable to be with me and everything's aside she can also live in the same place as me.

I was now sitting beside her on the bus but I can't really figure out why is she still feels like the same from the first day I met her.

And now once I thought about it she is apparently weak as for her phscique I wonder is she really okay?

They both started walking towards hoseok's apartment. She hold onto her office bag tightly taking a deep breath as for hoseok he too was walking beside her noticing her instincts. There was nothing more then just silence not only between them but their surroundings were seemingly random too.
Her heart begin to race faster as she took steps to the familiar place she once walked often.

"Y/n"

You turned towards him as he was the only one the street with you.

"Yes?" I asked as he was looking a bit confused

"Do you somehow know where you got these shoes from?" He asked with a little expression of interest but fear was in his heart.

"Uh?" I paused trying to think for an answer.

Hoseok's p.o.v

I was walking beside her looking around my surroundings they were not usually silent but for today I was feeling like it was only her and me ,no one around and it kinda making me feel better.

Just then I got a glimpse of her white sneakers which were brown because of the dirt on them and seeing their condition it wasn't like they were new but then my breath hitched ,eyes widened on the familiar signature I saw on the left one. I stopped and called her out hoping that what I am thinking isn't true.

Guess I think she don't know what they actually mean

"They were a gift" she said after a pause

"Wow" he said with heart smile of his. "Must be a good one" he exclaimed before started walking again.

She was clueless of what does he mean by good friend the only thing I know is "he" ....

Flashback 8 years ago.

"Sit down" seeing a bench near we were passing by

"Why?" I asked totally startled as he pushed me on the wooden block but I was surprised when he knelt down taking off my shoes.

"W-what are you doing?" I asked.

"Wait here" he said dampness in his voice and serenity in his aura.

I nodded bare-footed sitting on the wooden bench ,mind clouded, heart fluttered but the feeling of calmness was dominating me , why can't it be when he was my escape

An escape from the bitter reality I am living.

I stretched my arms and straighten my back feeling relaxed as we were walking a few minutes ago not just walking but actually killing the time for both of us.

I smiled to myself but just then I looked up at the sky.

It was the same.
Same for me living here ,same for the other me not living here but in my mind.

A smile crept on my face seeing him running towards me. He sat beside me taking deep breaths to calm his breath.

"Are you okay? Why did you run? I was here then why?" I asked him repeated questions on which he smiled.

The thing I can cherish and would even die to make it stay here forever and ever.

I know it sounded stupid but what can you expect from an 18 old who haven't knew what real happiness was until he came in her life.

Just then I realised he was holding onto a box .A box of

"Shoes?" I asked confused.

"Hmm" he took one out and it was white pure white,he exactly knows what I love was white and with it was two blue lines on each one of them and

"Your signature?" I asked again confused and amazed.

He nodded and then knelt down again to help me wear them but I stopped him and wear them.

"They are so pretty" I almost squealed on him.

"Guess they became worthy now" he said before ruffling my hair.

"But what about your signature?' I asked taking a look again "do you also have one guess we have matching ones?" I asked him

"Nah these are just for you""mine ones were not available" he said taking my hands in his

"But we could've taken matching ones" I pouted.

What can you expect more then this every teen-couple goals right?

"It's okay" he said now looking straight into my eyes "y/n"

Now a hint of weird feeling ran across my nervous system rushing adrenaline causing goosebumps

I looked at him

"What is it?" I asked and gulped as his grip on me got tighter

But just then he let go and hug me!

It wasn't just a hug! It was kinda mix of emotions I was feeling like I can feel even in his embrace I can stop world for myself everything, this time, this moment, but guess what I was wrong.

"Don't forget these blue lines" he said still hugging me

I release a deep breath I was holding in for I don't know how long holding onto my chest where the life muscle lies.

"Y/n?" "Y/n are you okay?" Hoseok asked coming my way as he noticed I was still standing there on which he asked me
The question.

"You alright?" "Y/n?" He said holding me by my shoulders as u was about to collapse my vision starting to get blurry with every passing moment.

"W-water" was the last word after then darkness took over me.

Meeshi and jungkook's p.o.v

"Hmm now if you can just change this.." jungkook said

They were staying a bit more then working hours as meeshi has to complete the application storage check and summarize it to jungkook. And so now she was summarizing it to him.

"Okay" she replied taking notes

"And wait if we can just readjust this one too" he said pointing the pointer of his laptop on the slide he was talking about.

"Hmm"without realising meeshi yawned which didn't go unnoticed by jungkook as he smiled seeing her.

"Guess we should wrap up now" he said backing up the files.

"Oh no no sir we have to discuss it now so I can present it to boss tomorrow" meeshi said jolting on her seat.

"Hmm sure it means Its done" he said

"But" she said looking at the file"we were..." He took the file from her hands.

"Its okay let's go I will take care of the rest" jungkook said.

"No it's my work you already are busy jungkook" she said seeming to be energised but failed miserably.

"Yea okay let's go dinner's on me" jungkook said standing up.

"Oh no no it's fine please don't bother much" she protested "mum would've prepared the dinner already" she said looking at her wrist watch.

"Umm I don't think so but we are going" he said exiting.

I texted mom that I'll be having diner with jungkook how can I refuse now.

I went out and he was on his phone. He then quickly put it in his pocket and we started to walk.

"Oh wait I have to put them on my table" I said looking the files in my hand.

"Just take them I still have to take look at them" he replied.

"Hmm then wait a sec I have to take my bag" i replied walking towards the desks.

I got my bag and arranged the files on the table and then as I was about to walk back I got a glimpse of y/n's table and saw her phone was still here.

"Ahh this clumsy girl" I whispered to myself as I took the phone and keep it in my bag "as far I know she barely uses her phone I can return it to her tomorrow"

I walked to jungkook we both got out of the building and then to his car.

Back to hoseok's p.o.v

I couldn't function she asked for water but then blacked out.
I started to rub her hand to get the blood flow by keeping her head lower but she didn't seem to respond.
My breath hitched I couldn't think of any thing.

"Y/n .. y/n.." I called out still rubbing her hands but now she was ice cold.

My hands become stiffened I stared blankly at her .All the past scenes coming right into my view.

I came back to my view
"I can't let that happen again not now not for you y/n" i started in one breath taking her nerve impulse.

They were so slow I don't have time
I don't even know her house I pick her up on my back taking her and mine bag and started to run towards my apartment I don't have any other choice

I have medicines there and I can call doctor there but if I will take her now to hospital I can't make it real quick.

I held her tightly and started to run faster and faster. I can feel her heart thump on my back as I saw her face falling deadly on my shoulder.

"Just make it there" I whispered still running my mind raced with all those thoughts.

Then I reached there running to the stairs taking her up to my apartment I held her more tightly.
I was panting hard, hands trembling I got the keys and opened the door rushing in and laying her on my bed.

I quickly got out taking the medi-box and immediately running in dailing a number on my phone.

On call:

"Hey ho--"

"Come to my apartment quickly" I said in one breath.

"What happened?" He responded.

"Just come quickly please Jin" I said

"Okay coming is everything alright" he asked.

"Please just come quickly" I said and hunged up.

I touched her hands and they were still ice cold.

I thought what happened to her she was fine by one minute.

I touched her forehead and it was burning like hell. I rushed towards my fridge taking the cold pad and a thermometer.

I rushed back in and took her shoes off setting them aside and pulled duvets over her as her hands and foot were cold I took the thermometer and checked her Temperature.

I rubbed her hands to ease the blood pressure.

Then I saw and my eyes widened it was 40°C.
I took the cold pad and placed it on her forehead.
Checking the medi-box if I had the fever pills and luckily I got them but still I needed Jin's advise.

She is having a really high temperature I told her to use the muffler it was cold she was shivering. I mentally cursed my self.

Just as I was about to check her hands again the door got knocked and I was sure it was Jin.

"What happened" he asked panting. He was still wearing his doctor coat with stethoscope hunging around his neck.

"Come in' I said and he quickly walked in. The door locks automatically.

"Here" i took him to my bedroom.

"What?" He gave me a questioning look "who is she?" He asked confused seeing her unconscious.

"I will tell you later but now she is having a Temperature of 40°C please help her hyung please" I begged him.

As for his profession he checked her.

"There's a box under the backseat get it hoseok" he said as he rubs her palms.

I quickly took the keys and ran downstairs going to his car searching for the box luckily I got it.
It was a medicine box and I hold it and ran up immediately.

"Here" I said panting.

"Thanks" he said and I nodded.

He took out an injection filled it with some drug and injected it in her arm.

I was just hoping that she will be fine.

We both stayed in silence for 10 minutes then he checked her Temperature again and I saw him relieved

"What happened?" I asked.

"It's reducing" he said pulling the duvets over her again and got up.

We both walked out of my bedroom.

"I gave her a fever reducing shot and also a muscle relaxant now tell me who is she why is she here what happened to her?" He trailed his questions in a single breath.

"She is my colleague we work in same company and today she and her friend said that she was searching for apartments and I suggested that she can take a look at my apartment but during our way she fainted" I answered his questions.

"Hmm" he nodded sitting on the sofa. "But she's having Hyperpyrexia and seeing her unconscious like this is dangerous for now I have given her the shot but when she wakes up take her to a hospital" Jin said shuffling something in the box.

"Will she be okay?" I asked him.

"Hmm just her warm her fever will be reduced but her body temperature needs to be moderate" he replied taking some pills out "and make sure to give these when she will eat something I can't give her anything without asking if she haven't eaten or not" Jin said

"Oh okay I got that thanks hyung" I said.

"It's okay" he closed his box "so you got an appointment tomorrow?" He asked

"Yea" "I just took it today I didn't knew this would happen" I replied.

"Oh Its okay I should go now tell me her condition when she wakes up" He said standing.

"Oh hyung wait I should get you something to drink" I was about to go to kitchen but he stopped me.

"It's okay I have to go I have appointments see you tomorrow then" he said as he went to the door.

"Thankyou hyung" I thanked him how quick he was to come here and treat her.

"My pleasure" he hummed and then walked out.

I took a glass of water and drank it immediately as my throat was dry then I walked in the bedroom.

She was still unconscious. I took a hold of her forehead and her fever was reducing now.

I let out a sigh holding my chest.
I held her hand and it was still so cold.i stood up and searched my cabinets if I can find some thick warm blanket or comforter.

Then reality hit me as I asked the dry cleaner to get them washed.

I looked at her again seeing her sleeping and peaceful state my heart melted.

"I think I should ask jungkook he can help me" i whispered to myself.

I took out my phone and dialed his number.

Ring..

Ring....
He didn't picked up instead cuted the call.

I looked at the empty screen for sometime as he haven't cut my call ever. The second thought was jimin.

"Yea I can ask him" I whispered to myself dialing his number.

"Hello" he replied.

"Hey jimin"

"Hobi how are you?" He said excitedly.

"I am good what about you?" I asked as I took her glimpse again.

"Fine too so everything alright?" He asked.

"Hmm yeah actually I called to have a favour" I asked.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Umm I was thinking if I can borrow some blanket or warm duvets do you have them?"

There was a little silence
"Oh hmm yeah don't worry I will ask grandma" he said

"Oh thank minie" I said smiling.

"No worries wait I'll call her and ask her" he said hanging up.

I again went to y/n tugging the duvets over her.

I took her Temperature again and it was reducing more now as her breathing becomes stable too.

"What should I tell her family? They must be worried for her" I whispered to myself

I searched for phone.

But it wasn't with her.

"Ughh jungkook isn't attending his phone too or I can tell meeshi about this" I said a little annoyed.

I looked at her again seeing her features relaxed I decided to take a shower so I went to take bath.

After about 10 minutes I got out ruffling my wet hair with a towel.

I sat beside her on a stool.
And observed her features.

She was flawless, her curled eyelashes, perfectly plumped lips,trailed off nose bridge.

Beautiful..

Utterly beautiful...

I was so in deep my thoughts that I didn't realised that the door was being knocked.

I stood up and walked towards the door opening it but I was met with the person I haven't met in a while.
