AUTHOR's POV

Aria's fingers danced across her keyboard, a symphony of clacking keys as she diligently worked on her project presentation. The room was awash with the soft glow of her computer screen, the only source of light in the late evening. Her focus was unwavering, every detail meticulously crafted to perfection.

Suddenly, a pair of hands covered her eyes, and she flinched in surprise. Her heart raced for a moment until she recognized the familiar scent that had enveloped her. Aria's lips curled into a smile as she removed the hands, revealing a tall figure standing behind her.

"Guess who?" a playful voice whispered into her ear.

She turned around, her eyes meeting those of Jeon Jungkook, her boyfriend. He had just returned from a business trip to Japan, and his absence had felt like an eternity. Aria's eyes sparkled with joy as she threw her arms around him, holding him tightly.

"Jungkook, you scared me!" she exclaimed, her voice a mixture of relief and happiness.

He chuckled, planting a soft kiss on her forehead. "I missed you so much, Aria."

Their reunion was filled with a tender moment, the warmth of their embrace melting away the distance that had separated them for two long weeks.

"I brought you a little something from Japan," Jungkook said, producing a small, beautifully wrapped box from his bag. Aria's eyes widened with excitement as she carefully unwrapped the gift. Inside was a delicate necklace with a tiny cherry blossom pendant, a symbol of their love.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, her voice filled with gratitude.

Jungkook helped Aria to put on the necklace. After that Aria quickly hugged him and he hugged her back. After some seconds they pulled away and a tear escaped from her eyes.

" Hey, why are you crying?" He wiped Aria's tears. " I missed you so much Kookie. Who goes on a business trip for so long." She hitted his chest playfully while smiling.

" Ahh!! I know I took a little longer but I missed you more you know." said Jungkook.

"Lair !! "

" Huh!! Let me show you then ! ", With that he hold Aria's waist by one hand as the other made it's way to her neck and came closer, soon she felt his lips brushed against her. Then immediately both of them responded and kisses back to each other. But suddenly they hear voices coming from downstairs.

Aria's eyes widened as the young couple hurriedly pulled away and quickly descended the staircase, Aria's heart swelled with happiness, while Jungkook followed her. However, little did she know that her father's early return from work would bring an unexpected twist to their evening.

Fathers are always a bit protective of their daughters, and Aria's dad was no exception. Suspicion flickered in his eyes as he saw Jungkook, a stranger in his eyes.

"Welcome back home dad!", said Aria as she ran towards her dad and hugged him. " How was the day at the office ? Was it tiring? ", asked Aria.

"Yeah it was a little bit tiring. By the way who is this gentleman ? " asked Aria's dad. She took a deep breath and introduced Jungkook to her dad, hoping to put her father's concerns to rest.

" Oh I forgot to introduce. He is Jeon Jungkook, CEO of Jeon's corporation. " said Aria. " Oh the Jeon's, nice to meet you Mr.Jungkook." Aria's dad replied extending his hand to Jungkook. " Nice to meet you Mr Kim. " Jungkook replied while shaking hands with Aria's dad.

" Ok, gyus have some talks, I m going to help mom in the kitchen.", said Aria. " Yeah Come Jungkook, have a seat." Aria's dad offered to Jungkook to which Jungkook replied, "Sure sir."

ARIA's POV

They started talking about their business things, or to be honest Dad was inquiring about him and giving some advices, not a new thing for me but for Jungkook it is. I went to the kitchen where I saw my mom cooking dinner.

"Do you need any help mom ?" I asked her to which she replied, "No sweetie, its almost done. "

" Oh! I think I m late to help you today. " I said, " Nah ! I just prepared it a little early for our guest."

"Guest ?" I got confused. " You sure there's no guest out there. " said mom.

" Wait... Jungkook? You knew about him? You knew that he was goona come ? Did you two plan this ?" I said it in one breath.

Unknown to Aria, her mother had been aware of Jungkook's arrival and their plans for a surprise. She leaned over to Aria and whispered, "How was the surprise dear."

My eyes sparkled with happiness. "A surprise!! Omo!! Mom!! Thank you so much. You are the best mom in the world, I love you so much ",Mom winked and I hugged her tightly. "Aigoo! let me breath Aria."

I pulled away from mom, " Oh Sorry! But I love you mom, I love you the most..." She kissed my forehead and said, " Me too sweetie, your smile, I can do anything to put that smile on your face."

"Oh Mom !! You are making me so emmotional!!", we let out a chuckle. "Well did you thought about telling your father about Jungkook. I mean that he is not just a friend but your BOYFRIEND!!", enquired mom.

" I am thinking of telling him today after dinner, I hope he'll accept him . Because you know mom how much I love Jungkook and what he means to me!!", I replied.

" I know sweetie, I know very well. And I also know that your father has a cold heart but he can never see you sad, so don't worry. I believe that he will accept Jungkook." She said passing me an assuring smile.

"Yeah, I hope so!" I replied. "So now let's go and have dinner hmm?", asked mom . " Yupp!" We took the dishes and went out to the dining table and I called for Dad and Jungkook.

" Dad, Jungkook the dinner is ready !! "

AUTHOR's POV

The two gentlemen took their seats in the living room, engaging in a conversation that started with business matters but gradually veered into more personal territory.

"So, Jungkook, what do you do for a living?" Aria's dad inquired, trying to gauge the young man sitting before him.

Jungkook, always composed, replied, "I work in international marketing, sir. I've been traveling quite a bit for business."

Aria's dad nodded thoughtfully. "I see. It's essential for young professionals like you to gain experience. Aria has been telling me about you. I hope you're doing well."

JUNGKOOK's POV

I was talking with Aria's dad, he iss so well experienced. The advice he gave me, I will surely work on them. Suddenly I heard Aria's voice.

" Dad, Jungkook the dinner is ready!", Aria said and I stood up from the sofa. " I think I should leav now sir, have your meal!", I said to which Aria's dad replied, "Where are you going Jungkook? The dinner is ready, didn't you heard that? "

" But sir - " , he cut me off and dragged me towards the dining table saying, " No buts !! Come with me."

ARIA's POV

As the evening wore on, dinner became imminent. We insisted that Jungkook stay for the meal, and after a bit of persuasion from dad, he agreed. Dinner with the family was a heartwarming affair, filled with laughter and stories.

After sharing their meal, Jungkook bid us goodnight and headed home.

With the dishes cleaned up, I found myself sitting on the sofa while watching TV with dad, who could not contain his curiosity any longer. And spoke, " Um.. Aria I wanna ask you something."

" Yes Dad go ahead!"

" That guy, Jungkook , he loves you, doesn't he your boyfriend?" he asked, his tone gentle.

I felt a surge of anxiety, How on earth he got to know that ? Now what should I say? Should I tell the truth? I think I should..

" Ahh.. Umm.. Dad.. the thing is that I was going to tell you about him."

" So you love him too? " said dad, as his warm smile and approval washed away my fears. She nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Yes, Dad."

Dad smiled and leaned back in his chair, his eyes filled with affection. "I'm glad to hear that, sweetheart."

Curiosity got the better of me, and I couldn't resist asking, "Dad, how did you know?"

He chuckled, a twinkle in his eye. "Well, during dinner with the gentleman, I noticed something. He was looking at you the same way I look at your mother."

" Does that mean you accept us?", I asked him with widened eyes.

" Of course sweetheart, I saw true love in his eyes and your happiness is my happiness after all." Replied dad.

Hearing those words my heart swelled with warmth and happiness as I realized the depth of my father's understanding. It was a moment of connection that strengthened our bond and filled me with even more gratitude for my loving family.

Tears started to stream down my face. I hugged him and cried in his arms. I am really blessed to have such mom and dad in my life. While I was crying in his arms he patted my back to calm me down.

" Shh.. sweetheart, don't cry. You should be happy right now!" , said dad. I pulled myself back, wiped my tears and said while sobbing.

" These are happy tears dad. I love you so much..."

" I love you too my princess. Now go to bed, it's getting late. "

" Yes, dad. Good Night!!"

" Good Night." He kissed my forehead and I went to my room.

I entered my room and threw myself on my bed. I grabbed my phone and text Jungkook about everthing. He will be Jungshook!!

Aria: (typing) My dad... he finally accepted us. He knows we're in a relationship!

Jungkook: (typing) That's amazing, Aria! I'm so happy for us. 😊

Aria: (typing) Thank you, Kook. It means a lot that he's okay with it. And I couldn't have done it without you.

Jungkook: (typing) We're a team, Aria. Always here for each other. ❤️

Aria: (typing) And speaking of being there for me, I have my big CEO exam presentation tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Jungkook: (typing) You've got this, Aria. Knock 'em dead tomorrow. I believe in you. 🍀

Aria: (typing) Thank you, Kook. Your support means everything. Sleep well and talk to you soon!

Jungkook: (typing) You too, Aria. Good night and sweet dreams. 😴❤️

As she set her phone aside and closed her eyes, a feeling of contentment washed over her. Aria drifted off to sleep, anticipating the challenges and adventures that lay ahead.
