Isang araw ng sabado, habang naghahapunan sa mansyon...

Therese:  Rose, in less than one month 18 ka na, anong balak ninyo?

Rose:  Lola Nay, we will cook na lang po ni Mama, and invite sila Tito Ed, Tito, Ken, Tita Ryzza's family and some close friends for dinner, ok na po yon.

Evelyn:  Hija, that's your 18th bday, I remember you telling your Lolo Tatay, you wanted a party so you can dance with him and your Lolo Daddy.

Rose: Well, I cannot do that anymore naman so why do a party.

Dei:  It's up to you, how you wanted to celebrate your birthday Hija, although, your Papa would loose his only chance to be a debutant's father and send her daughter off to the real world.

Denver:  Ok lang, Raine would probably celebrate and am sure I will be on her 18 Roses, am his Uncle anyway.  Kung ayaw magparty ni Rose, it's up to her.

Nagkatinginan sila Therese, Evelyn, Dei at Ryzaden.

Ryzaden:  I remember my 18th birthday, ang saya-saya nila Lolo Daddy and Tatay Teddy.  Sabi nila when I asked kung bakit nagpaparty kapag 18 na... it should be celebrated because it's only once that you get to show off to the world how beautiful and gorgeous a daughter has become. A father is just so proud that they wanted to show the world how proud they can be of their daughter.  To think, I am not their real daughter.

Denver:  RR, everyone knows I'm very proud of what Rose has become, so Ok lang.  

Pero malungkot naman ang mukha niya.

Ryzaden:  Sayang naman, tagal na natin na walang formal party eh. Then again, we can all wait for your Wedding.

Rose:  Si Tita talaga!  Ok fine, If you all want to have a party, I'll do it especially because I want to see how proud Papa is of me.

Biglang nagliwanag ang mukha ni Denver.  Ngumiti ng labas ang dimples.

Denver:  Yes!!!  Thank you darling!

Natawa si Dei.

Dei:  Kunyari ka pa na ok lang sa yo na walang party eh tignan mo nga yang ngiti mo ngayon? Ok don't worry Darling kami na ni Tita RR ang magoorganize ng party mo.

Kinabukasan, after lunch dumating sila Leslie, Dean at Tisoy sa bahay nila Rose.  Excited na nagkwento si Dei.

Dei:  Guys, we are organizing a party for Rose's 18th birthday.

Leslie:  Wow! Excited na ako!

Dean:  Ako din, Tita kasali ako sa 18 Roses ha.

Dei:  Syempre naman, kayong dalawa ni Tisoy kasama, since kayo naman ang pinakamalalapit na kaibigan ni Rose.

Nagsalita si Rose habang pababa ng hagdan.

Rose:  She's more excited than I am. Hi guys!

Tisoy:  Hello, glad you finally decided to celebrate.

Rose:  Yah, am doing it for Papa... since that is the case, Mama, there would be a father and daughter dance.

Dei:  Wow, that I would like to see.

Leslie:  Dapat may iba pang intermission number.

Dei:  Leslie, sige give me some more ideas, secret lang natin ha.

Rose:  Ma, why would it be a secret?

Dei:  Well, you didn't want a party di ba that's your punishment, you will not know any of the details.

Rose:  Ang daya!

Denver:  Hi guys!

Tisoy:  Good afternoon po Tito.

Leslie at Dean:  Hello po!

Denver:  Since nandito na kayong lahat, why don't you all join me to go to the couturier. Magpasukat na tayo.

Dei:  Sabi ko na mas excited ka pa kaysa sa akin eh.

Nagtawanan sila at nagpunta na nga sa Couturier.   Niyaya ni Denver si Tisoy at Dean sa labas ng shop habang nagpapasukat ang mga girls.

Denver:  I need to ask you two a favor.

Dean:  Ano po yon Tito Ninong?

Tisoy:  Kahit ano bo Tito basta kayo!

Denver:  It's Valentines Day two days from now. I have made a reservation for a dinner for two and an overnight stay for me and your Tita.  Can you two stay overnight sa house?

Tisoy:  Ok po, sasabihin ko po kay Nanay at Tatay Leo, sigurado naman pong papayag yon.

Dean:  Bakit Tito wala po ba sila Lola My at Lola Nay.

Denver:  Tito Ken, will pick them up tomorrow to spend the week with them in Clark eh.

Dean:  My dad probably has some plans for a dinner or something not sure kung kasama kami nila Raine and Richie pero malamang kung hindi kami kasama maiiwan kami kila Tay Leo. So, magpapaalam na lang po ako na sasamahan ko sila Rose dito.

Denver:  Ok, I will talk to your Dad. Come to think of it sasabihin ko kay Damon na iwan na lang namin sila Dennis, Rain and Richie kila Kuya Leo, so you two can plan your valentines date with Rose and Leslie.

Nagulat sila Dean at Tisoy.

Tisoy:  Ho?  Pero Tito baka...

Denver:  Tisoy, hindi ko ipinamimigay ang dalaga ko but I want her to experience this things,   I would rather have her have her first valentines date with you kaysa sa kung sino-sinong stranger.

Dean:  I like the idea pero pano po kami magdedate kung nasa mansyon lang kami.

Denver:  You are talking to an expert, so don't worry, I am sure Rose and Leslie will like what I have in mind, but first you will have to invite them for a date on valentines date.

Tisoy:  Tito, sure po kayo ok lang kay Tita Dei?

Denver:  Oo akong bahala.

Pagpasok nila sa loob ng shop...

Dean:  Les, tapos ka na bang sukatan?

Leslie:  Yah, bakit?

Dean:  Samahan mo naman ako bumili ng tubig.

Sinamahan naman ni Leslie si Dean at kinuha ni Dean ang pagkakataon na yon para yayain ito para sa Valentines Day.  Samantala, si Tisoy naman, tahimik na nakaupo sa couch at hinihintay na matapos sukatan si Rose.  Nagulat siya ng bigla siyang tawagin ng Couturier.

Couturier:  Richard?

Tisoy:  Po?

Dei:  Sige na Tisoy, pumasok ka doon.

Pumasok naman si Tisoy sa kuwarto kung saan sinusukatan si Rose.

Couturier:  Susukatan ka  then may ipapasukat ako sa yo.

Tisoy:  Ok po.

Couturier:  Ms. Dei., it's going to be a black and white party right? Pero anong color ang gowns niya?

Rose:  I want it red or plum.

Dei:  I want you to make her a simple dress to be used before the program starts, then a gown for the program proper and for the dancing.

Rose:  I want everything simple.

Couturier:  Yes dear, simple. sophisticated and elegant.  That is what we will make since that is who you are.

Lumabas ng dressing room si Tisoy suot ang isang black Armani tuxedo na may white na long sleeves polo at red na necktie.

Dei:  Gusto ko yan, bagay sa yo Tisoy.

Couturier: Sabi ko na magugustuhan mo Ms. Dei.  New arrival ng Armani yan.

Dei:  But  make him a red diamond tie instead para naiiba siya and make him a red long sleeves that goes with Rose's red gown.  Find him one more suit.

Couturier:  Ok, 2 ties, 2 polo shirts and 2 suits.  Got that!

Nagkatinginan sila Rose at Tisoy.

Rose:  Ma, why does he need two?

Dei:  Aba, eh kung ikaw magpapalit ng gown, alangan namang ang escort mo hindi.

Tisoy:  Ho? Ako ang escort?

Dei:  If you don't mind Tisoy, I want you to be.

Tisoy:  Kung ok lang po kay Tito and kay Rose, sino naman ho ako para tumanggi? Would be honored actually.

Rose: It's fine by me, if Papa says its ok.

Dei:  It is settled then.

Courturier:  Oh my God! Luv it! Bagay kayo!

Pinatayo sila ng magkatabi.

Couturier:  Can you two pose for me, I need it as a basis.

Habang inaayos nito ang pose nila, bumulong si Tisoy kay Rose.

Tisoy:  Pwede bang sa valentines day ako din ang Escort mo?

Rose:  Are you asking me out for a date?

Tisoy:  Parang ganon na nga.

Rose: sure ka lang dyan?

Tisoy: Oo.

Rose: Ok.

Couturier: aaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Napapasok si Denver at Dennis sa loob.

Dei:  Oh bakit?

Couturier:  May date sila sa Valentines day!

Natawa si Rose at Tisoy.  Pati na sila Denver, Dei at Dennis.  Biglang nagtanong si Dean at Leslie na kababalik lang.

Dean:  what's so funny?

Rose: I've got a date on Valentines day.

Dean: Yun naman!

Leslie:  well that makes two of us.

Naghigh five sila Dean at Tisoy. Bumungisngis naman sila Rose at Leslie.

Denver:  That was quick!

Dean:  Tito Ninong, ano pa po ang hinihintay mo baka maunahan ka pa ng iba...

Denver:  Oo nga no?   Hon, can I take you out on valentines day?

Dei:  Pagiisipan ko.

Tisoy:  Yun lang basag ka kay Tita Dei, Tito!

Nagtawanan sila.

Dei:  Hmmmm sige na nga wala naman akong choice eh.

Niyakap ni Denver si Dei...

Denver:  for a while there akala ko may date kang iba.

Dei:  You know, I only have you.

Nanukso sila Rose. Biglang bumuntunghinginga si Dennis.

Denver:  Oh bakit Dennis?

Dennis:  Hay, naku, malamang si Nanay Rio at Tatay Leo na naman ang kadate ko.

Nagtawanan sila.
