Todoroki's POV

I can't sleep.

I'm worried about Midoriya.

How is she doing now? Is she okay? Did the villains hurt her?

I hope not...

I looked up to the ceiling in silence. Everyone had fallen asleep, except for me. I was suffering sleep deprivation. These past few night, I felt uneasy and anxious.

The news about Midoriya's pregnancy shocked me.

When Uraraka blurted out the secret, my world turned dark. The next thing I remember was, my classmates surrounding me. They all looked so worried. Iida told me that I suddenly passed out.

What can I do? To know that your crush is pregnant with a villain's child... Is just too... Heartbreaking.

I can't believe... She is taken. I was too late.

Damn it, if only I was fast enough-

"Todoroko-san?" Yaoyorozu suddenly appeared from the dark. Her hair was down, and she was wearing her night gown. I stared at her in confusion.

"What are you doing here/What are you doing here?" The two of us asked in unison. We both stayed quiet for a while before her chuckles broke the silence between us.

"You go first." She said, a small smile tugged on her face. "I can't sleep." I answered nonchalantly. I wasn't in the mood to chat with anyone.

"What are you doing here, Yaoyorozu?"

"Oh, I was thirsty. I came downstairs to drink some water." She retorted, then walked toward the dining area. I just waited for her to come back.

Minutes flew by, and I was startled by a hand waving in front of my face. It was Yaoyorozu. "Are you alright?" Her voice was filled with concern.

"I don't know..." I paused there, looking away from her. "You must be worried about Midoriya-san." Yaoyorozu's words hit me hard. I started to mess with my dual-coloured locks.

"Yeah. I am. I am worried to death." Negatives thought swirled my mind. My msimatched irises fixed on the ground, averting from making eye contact with Yaoyorozu's.

Yaoyorozu didn't speak up for good 30 seconds. "You are not the only one, Todoroki-san. We all were worried about her, too."

"My worry is different. You won't understand." I denied her, gritting my teeth.

I was dejected. I felt pathetic.

Maybe, just maybe, if I confessed to her before the summer vacation started, this won't happen to Midoriya.

She wouldn't be forced to marry some stranger she didn't know.

She wouldn't get pregnant with that yakuza's child.

She wouldn't go through so much suffering.

Maybe... Thing will change even just a little bit if I was brave enough back then to tell her my true feelings.

"Todoroki-san..."

I couldn't look at Yaoyorozu in the eyes. I looked so pathetic right now. I failed to protect another woman I adored.

I couldn't protect Mom before. And now I couldn't protect Midoriya.

Damn it, why my life is always like this?

"I believe Midoriya-san will return to our side soon. So, don't worry yourself too much, Todoroki-san."

What?

I looked up to Yaoyorozu with hopeful eyes. "What do...you mean...?"

Yaoyorozu stared at my face in seriousness, a sweatdrop rolled down the side of her face.

"Because today, the heroes along with Kirishima-san,Asui-san and Uraraka-san will ambush the yakuzas's hideout."

Shie Hassaikai lair,
Morning...

Third Person's POV

Kai wrapped his strong arm around Izuku's waist tighter, pulling her body much closer to his. He didn't wear his top currently, only his pants were on. This fact caused Izuku to slightly blush. She could feel the warmth radiating from him.

"Kai... It's morning already..." Izuku reminded, placing her palm on the back of his hand. "Mm, I just want to take it easy today... I don't want to work. Let me stay like this for a little bit longer..." Kai hummed before he inhaled her fragrance.

"You still smell so sweet even though you haven't showered yet... So tempting." Izuku could practically hear the smirk in his voice.

The girl promptly sat up herself in the bed. "Kai, you pervert! How many times you want to do it till you are satisfied?" Her face heated up, heart beating rapidly.

Kai displayed his seductive smirk, didn't give a care of her words. "I have always felt satisfied with you, Izu... It is just, I can't get enough. You are too adorable for me to resist." He crawled toward his fiancee like a hungry predator, list evident in his dark golden irises. He licked his lips temptingly.

Izuku couldn't help but felt captivated by the way he stared at her. When Kai was being dominant, she would be very submissive. She gave in to his desire.

But not this time.

Izuku grabbed the pillow and planted it on Kai's face. "Cut it off, Kai. It is early morning. I know you are trying to distract me since today I want to spend my entire day with Eri." She whined, and then got off the bed.

Kai heaved a defeated sigh. He let himself fell face planted in the bed, too lazy to get up. 'I just want to keep her by my side for today... I feel uneasy...' He thought, eyes lidded.

Minutes passed, and Izuku came out from the bathroom, wearing a new outfit Kai bought for her and a pair of pure white flat shoes.

Kai smiled softly upon seeing Izuku in that beautiful dress. "If you put on a veil on your head, you will look like a real bride, my eternal bride."

Izuku turned beet red. She looked away from Kai, seeming very shy. "Um, I'm going to see Eri now. I will see you later, sweetheart." She walked over to Kai's side and pecked his cheek, before rushing to the door.
Kai chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "I should get ready too." He murmured to himself and went into the bathroom...

About three hours later,

Eri's room...

"...and they live happily ever after." Izuku closed the story book after finishing reading it for Eri. Eri looked up to her with a bright smile. "That is a good story. Tell me more!" She beamed in excitement. The older girl chuckled heartily.

"Sorry, Eri. That is the only story book I have for now. I will bring more next time." She patted her head lovingly. Eri softly purred at her soft touch.

The silver-haired child looked down to the pregnant lady's swollen belly. She could see the baby bump. "Izuku-san, your belly is bigger than before... Are you sick?" She said worriedly. Poor girl never knew how pregnant woman looked like.

This time, Izuku laughed at her statement. "Sweetie, that is your little sibling in there. They are growing bigger as time passed!" She said, cupping her soft pale cheeks.

Eri let out a gasp of shock. This new discovery was too surprising for her.

"S-so, you aren't sick?" The little girl asked for confirmation. Izuku nodded her head while tugging a very sweet smile for her.

"Can...can I touch your... Belly?" Eri questioned in excitement. She really wanted to touch Izuku's growing stomach.

Gladly, Izuku gave her permission. Eri nervously placed her palm on her  belly. Even though Izuku's dress prevented her from touching it directly, she still felt excited.

"Wah~ Your stomach is big! There must be two babies in there!" Eri cheered, rubbing Izuku's stomach gently. Hearing her words hit Izuku with realization.

'Two babies? Twins..? It can't be.... Can it? This is my first pregnancy after all-'

Suddenly, the door of Eri's room was opened. Eri shuddered, feeling the familiar sinister of... Kai Chisaki.

Izuku stared at Kai wide-eyed. She had told him not to come into Eri's room for the rest of the day.

Yet here he was, standing before her.

"Kai..."

Kai wasn't wearing his plague mask and his green coat. He had the black cloth mask on his face, and wore his usual black shirt with white tie.

'Hm? That's weird. He usually wear that plague mask in the base.. '

Izuku's eyes shifted to the fox mask that Kai gave to her as a present. Somehow, she felt like she needed to bring it with her today.

Kai didn't say anything. He just silently walked over to Eri's bed and sat next to Izuku. His arm locked around her shoulders, pulling her closer to him.

"K-Kai... "

"I haven't felt the baby yet today, Izuku..."

His voice was gentle and soft as he whispered that into her ear. His gloved hand then rubbed Izuku's stomach. "Mm, it is really bigger than it should be.."

Eri scooted back from the couple. Kai's presence scared her. Her fear was obvious. She was shaking slightly but didn't make any noise to gain Izuku's attention back.

Kai noticed her reaction, and a tinge of guilt pang his heart. He started to recall all his past memories... Torturing Eri, creating those Quirk Destroying Bullets, killing everyone who didn't meet his expectation without mercy...

Everything flashed before his golden eyes.

And Izuku's words echoed in his mind.

"Can you... Stop this? Torturing Eri, creating Quirk-Destroying Bullets.."

Kai felt disgusted with himself.

All this time, Izuku never gave up to change him. And now, all her effort bore fruit.

"Eri, come here."

Kai spoke up softly, holding out his hand to the young girl. Izuku was flabbergasted by his unpredictable action.

"I won't hurt you
anymore."

Oh, now Izuku couldn't contain her feelings anymore. Her surprise expression was completely written on her face.

Eri stared at the gloved hand in hesitation. Should she accept him back? Can she forgive him?

Gulping down her saliva, Eri reached out her small hand to hold his...

When a loud explosion suddenly occured outside, shocking the three.
