Natalie's POV
I walked into the stands and sat next to Sakura and Ino. I saw Naruto come in last minute which wasn't necessarily surprising. "Good luck Naruto." I whispered. "Where's Sasuke?" I asked Gai. "I have no idea." He said shrugging. I frowned and read for their chakra, but it was no where near us. "Natalie it's Neji and Naruto's fight next." Sakura said breaking my train of thought. I looked as they face each other and I couldn't help, but feel bad for Neji. I have been listening to every word he said to Naruto, it was sad. I snapped back into reality and heard that Naruto had won. I cheered and clapped smiling at him, he looked exhausted though. "I forfeit." I could hear Kankuro yell. It was Shikamaru and Temari's round next. I looked around for Kakashi and Sasuke, they still weren't here. "I'm gonna go look for them." I whispered to Gai before getting up. I could hear coughing and I looked to find Hinata on the ground. "Hinata!" Me and Kiba shouted at the same time. I ran to her and helped her to her feet. "Lets get you to a doctor." I said starting to walk with her in my arms. I saw an Anbu Black Ops member approach us. "Here I know medical ninjutsu." He said. That voice...it was so familiar, I just couldn't place it. I laid her down on the floor and the Anbu held his hand to her chest. A green glow emitted from his hand and I could see the color return to her face. "Kiba I'm going to go look for Sasuke, take care of her." I said standing up and passing the Anbu ninja. I stopped when I heard gasps and I turned to look into the arena. Sasuke and Kakashi were standing in the middle, looking like idiots at that. I sighed and face palmed as Kakashi walked to where Sakura and Gai were sitting. I walked down to the competitors balcony where Naruto and Gaara were. I walked up the stairs and noticed Naruto and Shikamaru cowering in fear. "Are you guys okay?" I asked running to them. "Yeah, we're fine." Naruto said rubbing the back of his neck. I pulled him into a hug and felt his arms wrap around me. "I'm proud of you Naruto." I said letting go of him. I noticed his facing turning a bright red. I laughed and noticed Gaara staring at me before walking to the arena. I felt my own cheeks heat up and I ran back to my seat next to Kakashi. "What did I miss." I said panting slightly. "Not much." He replied. I stared at Sasuke and noticed something different, he had a cocky grin on his face. "Did you teach him it?" I asked. Kakashi nodded in response and felt myself get nervous. I didn't know who to root for, my fellow teammate or the boy who kissed me. I watched a sand dome cover Gaara and Sasuke started to build up his chakra. I felt my stomach drop and I turned to bury my face in Kakashi's chest. "MY BLOOD!" I heard a voice scream. I turned around and found Gaara passed out on the ground. I ran to the railing of the stands and jumped into the arena and landed in front of Gaara. Kankuro jumped in with Temari at his side and grabbed Gaara. They ran off and I helped Sasuke off the ground. He pushed me back and ran after them. Multiple sound ninja started attacking people. I ran after Sasuke and the sand siblings. I caught up with Sasuke and ran with him. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" I shouted. "Leave me alone." He snapped. I rolled my eyes and paused in my tracks. "Teleport!" I shouted. I found myself running next to Kankuro. "Is he gonna be alright." I asked. He stopped and I looked at Gaara in his arms. "I don't know yet." He said. "Where's Temari?" I asked. "She's fighting Sasuke." He said panting lightly. "Natalie please take him." He said handing him to me. I looked at Gaara and started running. "Don't worry Gaara I'll take care of you." I whispered. "Natalie..." I heard him mutter. I stopped in my tracks and looked at him. "What are you dreaming about Gaara." I asked sadly. "Natalie he's coming here give him to me." Temari said. I slipped Gaara into her arms and turned around to find Sasuke standing behind me with markings all over him. "So you're with him now!" He shouted glaring at me. I glared back at him, but heard a groan come from Gaara. He pushed Temari away and pushed me into Sasuke. "You see he's nothing, but a monster." He said. I glared at him and got off of him. "Gaara please don't do this!" I screamed. I looked as sand overtook his body transforming half of it into Shukaku. I thought quickly and rushed at him. He hit me and I flew backwards this time into a familiar blonde. I felt lightheaded and darkness took over.

I saw Gaara standing with his arms wide open for a hug. I ran to him and wrapped my arms around him. "Natalie you have to wake up." He said. I tilted my head in confusion and everything disappeared.

When I woke up my head was throbbing. I looked over and found Sasuke almost unconscious and Sakura was held against a tree by sand. Naruto was on top of a giant toad and Shukaku was in his final form. I felt a sudden surge of power flow through me. I looked down at my skin and noticed I was growing as tall as Shukaku. Spiderweb markings spread across my skin like tattoos. I ran over to Shukaku and held him in place. "Now Naruto!" I shouted tightening my grip on Gaara. I closed my eyes and the moment I opened them Naruto and Gaara were falling in the air. I caught them both in the palm of my hands and set them down gently on the ground. I watched as the world around me grew larger...back to normal again. I fell to my hands and knees trying to catch my breath. I felt someone's hand on my back and they rubbed it soothingly. "Don't worry I'm right here." Kakashi said picking me up. I felt weak and dizzy, I couldn't even think straight. "Are they okay?" I asked. He nodded and we walked back into the village. It was in shambles and I felt tears slip down my cheeks.
