Niobi's POV
I woke up to Natalie sleeping peacefully. I got up and jumped off her bed and walked out of her room. I looked to see Kakashi staring at me with wide eyes, he backed away as I walked towards him. I continued until he was cornered and I nudged his leg with my nose. "Niobi?" He questioned. He pet my head and I licked his hand. "Good morning Kakashi." Natalie greeted walking out of her room. She rubbed her eyes and smiled at me. "Good morning Natalie." I said trotting over to her. "Good morning Niobi." She said grabbing and apple from the fruit basket. "So this is Niobi, what happened?" Kakashi said. "Yeah me and him communicate like Akamaru and Kiba apparently, must be the companion jutsu." She explained taking a bite of the apple. I sat next to her and she scratched behind my ear. "Well we should probably get to our mission." I said looking at Natalie. "Alright at least let me finish my apple and get ready." She said. I walked over to the couch that Kakashi was lounged on and jumped on top of him and laid down. "Oof." I could hear him groan. I smirked to myself and licked his face. 

Natalie's POV(Teen age Natalie is Media)
I walked into my room after finishing my apple and transformed into my older form. I looked at myself in my mirror and realized I needed different clothes then my originals. I closed my eyes and opened them after thinking of an outfit. I had on black shorts, a black tank top, black thigh-high boot heels, and a long sleeved black cloak with a hood. I confirmed my outfit and walked out and Niobi took to my side. "I'll be back later." I said walking out the door. I ran with Niobi to the ramen shop and sat down. "What are we doing here?" Niobi asked. I sighed and rolled my eyes. "I'm starving, an apple isn't a very good breakfast." I said. "What can I do for you miss?" The old man asked. "One order of barbecue ramen please." I said. He got to cooking and I looked to my left and saw Sakura and Naruto sit down next to me. "Hello you two." I said as the man handed me my ramen. "Natalie?" Sakura asked. "You saw me the other day in this form don't you remember." I said taking a bite of ramen. "Oh yeah, you just aren't wearing your usual clothes." Sakura said. I nodded and continued to eat my food. "Is that mutt yours." I could hear a voice say. My head snapped around when I heard the word mutt. I found Kiba standing behind me with a smirk on his face. I stood up and walked over to him. "In a matter of fact he is mine, and he isn't a mutt Kiba." I said towering over him, staring at him threateningly. "Uh s-sorry Natalie, didn't realize it was you and Niobi." He stammered scratching the back of his neck nervously. "Come on Niobi we got places to be." I said walking to the counter and paying for my meal. I walked away and I could hear Niobi laugh. "What's so funny?" I asked looking down at him. "You are just a good person, standing up to the person who made fun of your dog." He said. "Your aren't my dog, you are my companion, my partner in crime." I said smiling down at him. I walked to where I sensed a familiar chakra. I ended up on a rocky mountain. "Gaara what are you doing?" I asked noticing him hiding behind a bolder. "Shh." He said. I scowled at him and heard voices. "Come out!" I heard a voice shout. Gaara walked out from behind the bolder and I took his side. I could see Kakashi and Sasuke's eyes widen. I walked away from them not wanting to answer questions. I bumped into a boy with silver hair. "Oh sorry Kabuto." I said recognizing him. I continued on my way past him when I felt a hand grab my own. "Why were you with him?" Sasuke asked me. "It's part of my mission, I'm their body guard for their stay here." I explained yanking my hand from his grasp. "I have to go, I'll see you later Sasuke." I said walking toward town Niobi following me.

Sasuke's POV
I ran to where I saw Natalie walk off, I don't understand why she was with him. I saw her and grabbed her wrist. "Why were you with him?" I asked looking up at her. "It's part of my mission, I'm their body guard for their stay here." She explained. "I have to go Sasuke I'll see you later." She said walking away. I sighed and rubbed the spot where my curse mark was. It hurt like hell and I didn't know how Natalie was dealing with it. I felt bad for her.

Natalie's POV
I passed many people and rubbed my curse mark. It made me nervous just thinking about that man. "Hey." A man greeted. "Can I help you?" I asked politely. "Yeah I need to know where Naruto Uzumaki is." He said. "Who are you?" I asked getting ready to defend Naruto. "NATALIE!" I could hear Naruto yell. I rolled my eyes and turned around to Naruto behind me. "Natalie this is Pervy Sage." Naruto said introducing me to the man in front of me. I let out a laugh at the name Naruto had given him. "Well here he is." I said about to walk away. "Natalie the final part of the chunin exam is tomorrow. Are you coming?" Naruto asked. "Yeah why not." I said smiling at him. Niobi and you walked up a hill and found a Sakura tree on top. I smiled at it thinking of my friend. I sat down and leaned against it and watched as petals fell from the tree. I let go of the age jutsu and returned to my regular body. It felt nice not having to use my chakra constantly. "I thought I would find you here." I heard Shikamaru say. "What do you want?" I asked not looking at him. "I just came to watch the clouds. I usually come here and this was the place I wanted to show you when we were-" He started. "Together." I said finishing his sentence. "Why did you cheat on me?" I asked. "Was I not pretty enough, was I not sweet enough?" I asked looking at him with sad eyes. "That's not it at all Natalie. You are probably the only girl that I can actually stand. I don't know what happened, it wasn't something I wanted to do. It just happened. I still want to be friends. I would take back that moment if I could." He said looking at me. "We can still be friends, but don't expect me to come crawling back to being your girlfriend." I stated feeling a tear run down my face. Shikamaru swiped it from my face, but I didn't meet his eyes. "I still love you and always will Nat." He whispered his voice cracking. I looked up and saw him wipe away a tear. "Well maybe you should've thought about that before kissing Ino." I snapped. I stood up and transformed back to my older self. "I gotta go Shikamaru, I'll see you later." I said walking away from him. I walked back to my apartment and it opened as I was about to open it and Kakashi pulled me into a hug. "Why were you with him?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and sighed heavily. "It's part of my mission Kakashi, calm down will you." I said rubbing my neck. "I'm sorry." He apologized. I just nodded and walked into my room and changed into pajamas and let go of the jutsu again. "Kakashi can you tell me what happened?" I asked. "You were bit by one of the three sanin, Orochimaru. He has planned to give you more power with the curse mark. You need to fight the urge to go to him and seek more power." He explained. I nodded and sat down on the ground. "My brother came here the other night." I said. "What?" Kakashi asked turning to look at me. "I said Niobi came and saw me." I repeated. He sat down in front of me and lifted up my chin to look at him. "Well what did he say?" Kakashi asked. 

*FLASHBACK*
"Niobi!" I shouted running into his room. I looked at him seeing the various bruises on his arms. He hurriedly pulled down his sleeves to hide them. I felt tears brim my eyes and I ran into his arms. "Why do they hurt you?" I asked sobbing into his chest. "Natalie I'm okay trust me." He whispered bringing me onto his lap. "I don't want them to hurt you." I said sniffling. "Look at me Natalie." Niobi ordered. I looked up at him and he wiped away my tears. "They aren't going to hurt me okay, I need you to be brave for me. Can you do that?" He asked. I nodded and he kissed my forehead. 
*END OF FLASHBACK*

"He told me to be brave." I said wiping away tears. I smiled at the memory and got up from the floor. "Good night Kakashi." I whispered walking into my room. Niobi whimpered at me and I pet his head. "I hope I see him again." I whispered slipping underneath my covers.
