To the battle of Naruto and Haku and the one between Kakashi and Zabuza.
Natalie's POV
I was kneeling next to Sasuke who was dead, I was crying. "Sasuke please wake up." I pleaded pulling the needles out of his body. I felt them hit my own body, but I ignored them. "Natalie!" I could hear Naruto shout. I felt tears slip down my face. "Please Sasuke I can't lose another friend." I said as my tears hit his body. I looked at Naruto who had red chakra surrounding his entire body. I froze as claws sprouted from his nails, his eyes went red, and he had fangs in his mouth. "That's it you're done!" Naruto screamed. I sat down feeling weaker than I had ever before. "I...can't...do it." I said fighting to stay conscious. "I'll see you later Sasuke." I muttered closing my eyes and collapsing to the ground. I could hear muffled shouts and screams and it killed me that I couldn't help. I felt a sudden burst of strength and I shot up and sucked in a deep breath of air. Sakura was kneeling next to me with a bag of food pills in her hand. Sasuke was sitting up next to me. I hugged him tightly and cried into his shoulder. "I thought you died, and it was all my fault." I sobbed letting go of him. Kakashi was standing a little farther away. I stood up with the help of Naruto and ran to Kakashi. I jumped into his arms and hugged him and didn't let go for a while. "I can't do this again for a while." I murmured as he let me go. "I need to just sleep." I said. Kakashi and the rest of us walked back to Tazuna's house and I walked to the bedroom that me and the rest of team 7 were sleeping in. I leaned against the wall and pulled out a picture and smiled at it. It was a picture of me and Niobi when we were younger. "What's that?" Sasuke asked walking into the room. "It's a picture of me and my older brother when we were younger. He is six years older than me, but I don't know where he is." I explained handing him the picture. "It's the same with me." He said sitting next to me. "How are you feeling?" I asked wincing at the pain all over my body. "It could be worse." I nodded in agreement and fell silent. "Why did you hug me back there?" He asked me. "I thought you were dead before I passed out." I said with a laugh. "I wish I could've helped you." He said out of nowhere. "What?" I asked in confusion. "Never mind, it's getting late we should get to bed." He said walking to his corner of the room and slipping underneath his blanket. "Night Sasuke." I whispered scooting to my own corner and draping the blanket over myself. "Night Natalie." I heard him whisper back.

I was in my old house sitting on my bed. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" My father asked loudly getting in my face. I could smell the alcohol off his breathe. "Nothing sir." I said respectively trying not to get hit again. "Exactly you should be making us dinner!" He shouted slapping my face. "Please stop." I begged trying to get away from him. "MAKE ME DINNER!" He screamed slapping me again. "Okay just let me get ready." I said noticing that I was only in my pj's. "Better be done in five minutes." He said his voice slurred. I nodded and he walked out slamming my door in the process making me flinch. I was suddenly transferred to being pressed against a brick wall. "Hello again beautiful." That voice, that sick bastards voice. "KAKASHI!" I screamed. The man stabbed me with a kunai and dropped me to the floor and ran away. "Help." I whispered as I bled out on the ground.

I shot up to Sakura and Naruto snoring heavily. I wiped away sweat that had formed on my forehead. I stood up and walked to the living room. I noticed Sasuke curled up on one side of the couch. He must've been woken up by their snoring. I tip-toed over to the other side of the couch and curled up and looked at the moon from a window across the house. "So they woke you up too." I looked at Sasuke and saw he had one eye open. "Yeah they are super loud." I said. I heard him laugh a bit. "Goodnight Natalie." He said closing his eye. "Night Sasuke." I said closing my eyes again. Something warm was wrapped around me and I cuddled closer to it. I heard someone clear their voice and I opened my eyes. Kakashi was standing in front of me his visible eye glaring at me. I went to get up, but someone pulled me down. I screamed and jumped off the couch. I felt my cheeks heat up and looked at Sasuke as he blushed a deep red. "Come on we leave in twenty minutes." I walked into our room and grabbed my bag and entered the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were their natural deep blue and my face was flustered. I got dressed in my daily outfit and brushed my hair and teeth. I walked out and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. "Sorry about earlier." Sasuke said grabbing my arm. "It's fine you didn't mean to do it." I replied walking away. When we arrived back to the village I walked back to me and Kakashi's apartment and was greeted by Niobi spinning in circles at my feet while barking happily. "It's good to see you too boy." I said kneeling down and petting his head. "Natalie?" A voice asked. Dedira was standing in the doorway with a smile. "Yes Dedira." He handed me a scroll and I looked at it. "Dear Ms. Hatake we are in need of your services for a higher-ranked mission. When you get this message come to me as soon as possible." I read aloud. I groaned and heard a laugh escape Dedira's mouth. "So much for getting some rest." I muttered. "Come on in, I have to get a few things." I said to Dedira. I walked into my room and locked the door and changed into clean clothes and packed my weapons bag with weapons and medicine. I walked out with Dedira and he started to laugh. "What's so funny?" I asked in an irritated tone. "You never get a break do you?" He asked as we entered the Hokage tower. "Nope." I replied nonchalantly. "Lord Hokage." I greeted bowing along with Dedira. "You are dismissed Dedira." The Hokage said waving his hand. Dedira walked out and I turned back to the Hokage. "Your mission is to meet with sand ninja from hidden in the sand. They have genin that are going to be taking the chunin exams here. I'm promoting you to chunin, you will be guarding them, but there is a catch." He explained as I took a seat in front of him. "What is the catch?" I asked raising an eyebrow at the Hokage. "I know that you are known to have mastered a jutsu that makes you look older than you are. You will need to look older than you do and your new age is seventeen. It is for security reasons." He explained. I groaned and did a couple hand signs and transformed into a version of myself, just three years older than I actually was. "How's this?" I asked. "Perfect." The Hokage confirmed. I nodded and walked out of trying to get used to being taller than I actually was. I walked down and a hand caught my arm before I could walk any further. "Natalie?" Kakashi asked looking at me. "In the flesh, I gotta go on a mission Kakashi, I got promoted to chunin." I said walking away once again. I jumped from tree to tree, until there wasn't anymore trees. I looked at the sand with a pure hatred, sand was annoying. I saw four figures walking towards me, I squinted my eyes and notice they all had sand village headbands on. Except one didn't, he had red hair and a gourd on his back. He lifted his hand and sand launched itself at me. I easily held my hand up and the sand stopped in its tracks and fell to the ground. The boy and the others looked quite startled. "Who are you?" The older man asked. "I'm Natalie Hatake, a chunin of the village hidden in the leaves. I'm the one to escort you back to the village and will be your personal body guard." I said in a bored tone. The red haired one looked at me with his pale blue eyes. "Names and give them quick, we have to get back to the village." I said looking at them. "My name is Baki." The older man said. "I'm Kankuro and this is Temari." The boy with purple markings on his face said pointing the the blonde girl. "My name is Gaara." The boy with red hair said. I nodded and turned to walk away. "You coming or not?" I asked starting on my way back to the village. The trip back to the village was silent, no one said a word to each other. We got halfway when I decided to stop. "We'll take a break here." I said jumping to the ground. "Thank god." The girl said sitting down on the ground. I laughed to myself and pulled a food pill out of my weapons bag and handed it to her. "It should get your energy up." I said and she looked at in confusion. She swallowed it and she took out a water bottle and drank from it. "Why would the Hokage trust her with guarding us?" I heard Kankuro ask Baki. "Because I have gifts no one else has. Now if you doubt the Hokage again, I'll have to let you go alone. Trust me, so many people could get through your fan, sand, and puppet." I said not making eye contact. "How'd you know that?" Baki asked stepping towards me. I looked at him and he froze. "Because I take my time to know my fellow ninja." He stepped away from me and I could hear Temari snicker. I smiled and got up. "Okay break time is over, let's get going." We ran as fast as we could to the village and when we got there Temari passed out. "God dammit." I cursed picking her up into my arms. "Here I'll show you to where you'll be staying." I said. They nodded and I could see Kankuro look at Temari in my arms. "You her boyfriend or something?" I asked him as Baki took the lead. "No we are all siblings, sons and daughter to the Kazekage." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "Well you guys better stick together. Siblings aren't people you just leave and never come back to. Cherish each other, even if you do get into fights." I explained handing Temari to Kankuro. "Take care of each other no matter the cost." I said kneeling down and putting a hand on his shoulder. He nodded and walked into the room they were staying in. "Those three are gonna be trouble I can feel it." I whispered heading in the direction of the Hokage tower.
