Hayes sighed as Harley ignored her.

"Please stop giving me the silent treatment and let me explain" he begged.

It had been a few days since the Hayes incident and both Harley and Lilac weren't talking to him.

Harley looked at him and crossed her arms over her chest making her look cute.

"You have two minutes" she said trying to keep a straight face but instead she looked even cuter.

Jace was struggling to keep a straight face as well and all he wanted to do was kiss the living daylights out of her.

"I promise I didn't intend to stalk you two. The arcade and food court was all my idea and I followed you two to keep you safe" he promised.

"Oh bu-" she cut herself off and started laughing finding it hard to keep a straight face any longer.

"I know Jace told me everything" she explained.

He sighed "then why were you mad at me"

"I wasn't it was just fun to watch you become miserable" she laughed.

"And to think I made you breakfast" he mumbled poking her arm.

"Anyways we made a plan we will get you two alone at Lilac's favourite place, then you two make up and kiss" Harley smiled.

"You make it sound soo simple" Hayes groaned.

"Au contraire brother it is" Harley grinned.

"Hey Lily" Harley smiled at Lilac.

"Hey don't take this the wrong way but I need to go before your brother sees me" she sighed, looking around.

"I know, I know but do you think you could come on a date with Jace and I?" She questioned.

"Harls I don't know- What if your brother is there?" She questioned, not liking Harley's idea.

"He won't. He doesn't even know about it" she pouted "please come"

"Fine but only because I see Hayes coming bye" she sighed before running away.

"Lilac" Hayes yelled trying to catch up to her but she was gone.

"This better work" Hayes sighed.

"It will" she smiled "I know it"

Harley sighed as she combed her hair. She looked beautiful in her black off shoulder layered dress with black heels which she knew she couldn't walk in and there was really no denying it.

She didn't want to dress up so much but if she wore sweatpants, a sweatshirt and white sneakers with her hair in a messy bun she knew it would be suspicious.

"Harley are you sure this outfit is okay I kinda feel like I am overshadowing you" Lilac whined for her bathroom.

"Oh c'mon I wanna see how you look" Harley giggled.

Lilac took a deep breath and asked out, her head to the ground as her cheeks were tainted with a pink color.

"Wow I- damn" Harley said breathlessly.

"I look good?" Lilac asked, worry slowly leaving her body.

"Good isn't the word I'd use, beautiful is" Harley smiled.

"Thank you, you look even better" she smiled.

"Not possible" Harley grinned.

She was in a A line spaghetti straps lace up black lace dress with black heels, her make up looking professionally done.

"C'mon let's go" Harley giggled when her phone beeped.

"Harley are you sure this is a good idea" Lilac asked nervously playing with her black lace.

"It's a splendid idea and it will be a Hayes free night" Harley promised, as soon as she did she felt bad for lying but it was worth it, she could feel it.

"Okay"

They walked out and quickly spotted Jace's car with him leaning on it, looking incredibly hot in a black tux.

"Well both of you just look beautiful as usual" he smiled kissing their knuckles making them blush.

He helped them in and they were off.

"So where are we going for your date?" Lilac asked and as soon as she did she blushed.

What a weird question to ask?

"Uh some new restaurant" Jace shrugged.

Lilac nodded, no quite satisfied with his answer.

Something was up from the way Harley played with her hair and they way Jace kept on glancing at Harley.

"Is there something wrong?" She voiced out.

"Why would you say that?" Jace asked confused.

"Well you keep on glancing at Harley" She asked raising her left eyebrow.

"Well I always do that" he mumbled, interlocking their fingers.

"You can't drive with one hand it's not safe" Harley blushed.

"For you babe I can fly" he winked making her blush even more.

Lilac smiled. She could tell that he loved her. She could tell that if it weren't for them being in school Harley would have been married to him and maybe pregnant. She was kinda jealous of that. She wanted that with someone. She wanted to be someone's everything. She wanted to be someone's obsession. She wanted to be Hayes' girl.

"Right here we are" Jace announced

ROSIE'S was written in bold letters, adorned with lights.

"Wow this place looks incredible" Lilac gaped.

He laughed as Harley said the same thing.

"Only the best for my favorite ladies" he winked.

They smiled and Jace helped Harley in.

"Hi Mr. Lambert-" Jace cut her off.

"For the love of God Rosie I said call me Jace" Jace laughed, hugging the woman.

"Yeah Jace how are you" she smiled.

The woman looked young. She was in her mid twenties. She had beautiful black hair which was tied in a neat bun, beautiful grey eyes and a wonderful body. Harley couldn't help but suddenly dislike her. She knew Jace wasn't into older women but she just couldn't help it.

"And you must be Harley Jace doesn't stop talking about you" Rosie smiled, pulling Harley into a hug "you are even more beautiful in person"

Jace's ear tips went red as a blush danced on Harley's cheeks. Her dislike quickly changed to adoration.

"Aww" Rosie cooed.

"And you must be Lilac" Rosie smiled before pulling Lilac in a hug "you are really beautiful"

She looked deep in thought before she snapped out of it

"Thank you" Lilac blushed.

"Anyways your table is good to go" she grinned.

She led them to a booth.

"I will be with your food real quick" she smiled before winking and scurried away.

Jace smiled at them.

"That's Rosie the owner" he explained.

They nodded.

Harley's phone rang and she smiled apologetically at her.

"I gotta take this" she sighed and liked that she was out of the restaurant.

"Uh I'm gonna go to the restroom are you okay on your own?" he questioned.

"No I'm good" she said awkwardly.

"Okay then be back in a sec" he smiled.

She sighed as she watched him walk away.

She looked at the couple's and she felt her heart squish.

The things Hayes did to her.

"Lilac" she heard Hayes' voice say.

Her eyes widened as she watched him on the podium, a microphone in his hand.

All eyes were on her.

"Lilac I wanted to say I am sorry" he said honestly.

She didn't even notice that she had stood up and he was right in front of her.

He held her hand and led her to the center of the restaurant.

"I'm really sorry Lilac, I didn't take your feeling's into consideration when I entered that damned cinema" he said honestly "I hope you can forgive me"

She was lost for words.

"I know how much you love stuffed bears" he chuckled lightly as he offered her the stuffed bears with a card that had "sorry"on it and some flowers.

She held the bear as she stared at Hayes.

"And I-I know it might not mean much since it was cheap and you have tons of them but I got you this" he said opening a box and there in the box was a necklace that had a compass in it and it had I'll be lost without you in it.

"And I had your name engraved on it" he explained.

She smiled.

"And I got a matching bracelet which I swear I will never take off" he promised.

He showed her his hand and on his hand a bracelet hugged his wrist. 'I'd be lost without you' was engraved on it.

She chuckled lightly.

"H-Hayes" she smiled "thank you for all these and I forgave you I-I just couldn't bare to see you"

"I know I'm a jerk" he sighed.

She shook her head.

"You're not a jerk you're an amazing person and an even better brother" she smiled.

He looked in her eyes and she swore she saw love swimming in his beautiful brown orbs but she knew she was mistaken.

Before she could apprehend anything his soft lips were on his. His lips tasted soo good.

They broke the kiss panting for air. It was soo passionate and people were cheering them on. A blush creeped up her cheeks.

He got on his knee and she gasped.

Was he going to propose? No. How silly of her to think that.

"Lilac will you do the honor of being my girlfriend" he asked, her hand in his.

She gasped again as people chanted "Say yes, Say yes"

"I-I H-Hayes" she stuttered "yes"

He stared at her with wide eyes.

"Yes? Yes? Thank you Lilac. Thank you" he mumbled, wrapping his arms around her.

He pulled away, a blush on his cheeks making him look cute.

She smashed her lips on his and he responded. She pulled away shyly.

"C'mon" he said tugging at her hand gently as the people smiled and awwed.

"Where are we going?" She asked giggling.

"It's a surprise" he chuckled.

"So how did you plan everything?" She asked curiously.

"Well the love birds helped me and now I owe them a lot" he laughed opening his car door for her.

She laughed as well as she entered his car.

"They were acting so suspicious" she laughed then it dawned unto her as he drove her to the unknown destination.

They made a scene which means everyone would see it including his parents and them.

"Y-You. Everyone saw you ask me to be your girlfriend and I'm sure first tomorrow we are going to be in the headlines" she mumbled, fear taking over her body "you know how famous we are because of our parents"

"Yeah. Then everyone would know you're mine" he mumbled inhaling her scent.

She laughed and traced her hand on his jaw.

"Babe I'm trying to drive stop distracting me" he laughed uncomfortably.

"Oh I'm sorry" she apologized retracting her hand.

"Why don't you do that later when you are ready" he winked.

She blushed as she realised what she did.

"We are here" he announced.

He opened his car door to her and held her hand.

"Close your eyes and no peeking" he smiled.

She closed her eyes as she nodded.

"Can I remove your heels?" He asked making her internally aww.

She nodded and felt him remove her heels and put them somewhere.

He held her hand and she followed him without hesitation.

Soon she felt the sand between her toes.

Where they are the beach?

He led her unto something wooden.

"Open up" he said and she could feel his smiled.

She gasped as she watched around in awe.

He had set up a candle light dinner.

"Do you like it?" He asked shyly.

She grinned at him and nodded.

"I love it. I love it. Thank you. Thank you" she said throwing her arms around him.

"Anything for you baby girl" he said honestly.

He held her hand again and pulled out a chair for her.

"M'lady" he smiled.

She sat down a grin on her face.

He kissed her cheek.

"They are soo cute" Harley cooed as she watched from afar.

"Just like you" Jace smiled kissing her forehead.

"C'mon I want to show you something" he smiled

She slipped her hand into his and followed him.

She gasped as she saw the lights and picnic blanket and all that jazz.

It was simple but beautiful.

"Jace you did this for me?" She grinned.

"Yeah I-I mean it was supposed to be a fake date and this really simple but-" she cut him off by placing her lips on his.

"Thank you Jace I love it" she said truthfully.

He smiled as he held her to sit down.

"Juice?" He offered.

She smiled and wondered how she got soo lucky.
