Chapter 6
He was glad he decided to go for a run. He felt as though he had released a huge amount of pent up pressure.
Still in his wolf form, he entered their camp. The peach scent tickled his snout and lured him towards the girl. She lay there just the way they had left her, with the blanket up to her chin. Puffs of mist left her mouth each time she exhaled. Her nose had turned pink from the chill. He thought it looked rather cute.
Walking closer to her side, he curled up next to her, placing his head on her belly, and let out a deep, contend, sigh. After a few seconds he too drifted off to sleep.

The next morning they started moving in the same formation. The meadow was a mere hours distance away.
The Meadow witches were an odd group of three. The wolves knew that these witches often carried out cruel satanic rituals, but none raised a voice of objection. The witches had the fearful respect of all werewolves. Because in situations like Karu's only they could provide a solution. They always had a solution. Always.
Edmund was alert when he heard the rustle of clothes up ahead. It was Boston.
"Alpha, we have arrived."
Once over the hill, they could see a lonely cottage at the bottom of the valley. It looked like it could be flattened by a gust of wind, but Edmund knew it would take more than a mere gust to knock it down.
