“My laptop?” Laksh says looking at his empty bag.

Ragini also looks around.

“They made everything full proof.” Laksh whispers to himself.

‘Ragu utilise the chance!’ Jeevika’s text comes into Ragini’s mind.

Laksh sighs and sits on the couch taking his phone. He starts doing something in phone while Ragini stares him for few more moments. She takes deep breathe and moves towards him. She sits on her knees on the floor in front of him. Laksh feeling her near him looks at her. She takes the phone from his hand and puts it aside. Laksh could feel what is coming next. His heart started beating heavily. Ragini’s eyes turned moist. Ragini holds his hands still looking straight in his eyes.

“Please!” She pleads him.

He looks down by breaking the eye contact with her and takes deep breathe. He looks at her again and pats the place beside him on the couch indicating her to sit beside him. She moves and sits there. He looks at her who held his hand again. He takes her into his embrace while Ragini clutches his shirt tight.

“Say!” He whispers by holding her protectively in his embrace.

Ragini’s tears let their way as finally he got ready to listen to her.

“You will be on time right?” She asked him fifth time in five minutes of call they have been talking.

“If you ask another time I will not come at all. Your wish!” Laksh says irritated of her same question.

“Okay sorry!” She pouts while he smiles on the other side imagining her pout.

“Bacha I need to go. It’s time for meeting.” Laksh says.

“Bye!” She says hiding the unknown fear she has been feeling since that day morning.

“I Love You!” He says as if he is assuring her that everything will be fine even without her telling him about that unknown fear she has been feeling.

She smiles. They both hang up while Ragini gets ready to go out. Today she has decided to introduce Laksh to her family. So she has invited Laksh to her house. She is very excited. She moves out of her room to find her Nanu romancing with his Nani. She smiles. She clears her throat disturbing them.

“Yaar Ragini why are you becoming 3rd wheel for my romance?” Her nanu whines.

Ragini giggles. She sits beside him and hugs him.

“Nanu she is already red due to her blush. Give her sometime to relax.” She whispers.

Nani, who heard her, glares her making both Nanu and Ragini laugh.

“Where are you going bacha?” Nanu asks her.

“I am going for shopping Nanu. You want me to get something for you?” She asks smiling.

“No bacha. You enjoy. Take care.” Nanu says caressing her hair.

She smiles and nods. She bids bye to both of them and goes after informing to Janaki as well. Though she is smiling but the fear of something is going to be wrong kept bothering her in her mind. Her heart has been beating unusual since long time. She reached the mall and is looking for the things she wanted. While she was searching for her things fire alarm started ringing suddenly. Her heart started racing due to fear. Her brain got blank for few moments. She came to sense when she heard the ruckus caused by the people in the mall. She realised what is happening and started running but her leg got twisted and she fell down. She tried getting up but one of the man hit her without his notice in the hurry to escape. She fell down once again. She again was about to get up but the crowd gets increased and people started running without noticing her in hurry. After few minutes she lost her conscious.

She stops saying as she felt Laksh jerking hearing her. She felt him hugging her more tight than before while his forehead is sweating. She cupped his face.

“Laksh!” She called him.

He looked at her and he just hugged her to his chest tight while his eyes turned moist. Ragini hugged him back and rubbed his back trying to calm him.

“Calm down Laksh. I am here in your arms.” She whispers soothingly.

He calms down after few minutes. She breaks the hug. But he again takes her into his embrace by placing her head on his chest. She clutches his shirt once again.

“I woke up next day. Somebody has noticed me and saved me from there with difficulty. But there came the biggest shock of my life.” She says as her eyes turned teary.

Laksh caresses her head. He nods his head to continue.

“Doctor has told me that I cannot conceive.” She stops as a sob escapes her mouth.

Laksh closes his eyes tight hugging her tight letting his tears as he heard her. He could understand what she could have felt at that time. 

“I had many internal injuries and there was high impact on my reproductive system.” She said clutching his shirt tight while her tears kept flowing.

“When I got to know about that I was broken. I was blank. I didn’t speak to anybody for two days. I came back home from hospital. After two days after lots of struggle of my family I spoke to ma. I cried a lot. You came into mind. Only thing I know is that I am no more correct for you. You deserve the best. I decided to leave. I needed change from here. I decided to leave from here for the change as well as to be away from you. I wanted you to move on. I wanted me to move on. Because now nothing can be changed and I don’t want myself in your life. I want you to get all the happiness. I know I don’t deserve you. You don’t deserve me. So I spoke to everybody and decided to go to Nanu and Nani house. I left to village.” She completes saying everything.

As she completed she felt the grip around her losing. She looked at him. He moved her away from him. He made some space between them.

“I am sorry!” he whispered looking at her painfully.

Ragini shook her head and about to cup his face but he stopped her shaking his head.

“I am sorry for making you feel as a baby making machine.” Saying he gets up from his place.

While Ragini sat there shocked. She didn’t expect such reaction from him. She knows that he will be broken but she felt after knowing the truth he would understand her pain but instead he started blaming himself in a really different angle.

He is trying to open the door. Ragini immediately rushed towards him and turned him forcefully.

“Laksh!” She cupped his face.

He looked down not looking at her. She made him look at her.

“No Laksh you never made me feel that way.” She tried to explain.

“But the reason for you to leave me gives that conclusion. I am sorry for making you feel so. But I swear I had never loved you just for your body or for children Ragini. You were and are always my solace, my peace. Your presence is what I always needed. I need you because you give me Solace. I need you because you give me peace. I need you. But I failed. I failed to express what I feel for you. Everything went wrong. Everything!” he says looking at her painfully.

Ragini was about to speak but he speaks again.

“I am sorry for everything. Because of me you had to leave your family too. I am sorry for separating you from your family. I am really sorry.” He speaks almost breaking down.

“Laksh please don’t say like that. You were not responsible for anything. It’s me who has taken the decision. It’s me who left you and my family. It’s me who is responsible for everything. It’s me.” She said crying.

“We decided to face everything together, didn’t we?” he asks blankly.

She looks at him and nods.

“Then why did you decide alone and faced everything alone? Ain’t I capable of sharing your sorrows?” he asks painfully.

“I don’t want you to suffer Laksh.” She whispers painfully.

“But at the end what happened was that only. I suffered. You suffered. Both of us suffered. If at all you wouldn’t have left me we both would have had become the support for each other. We both would have had solved everything. We both would have had crossed those painful days. But we would have been together as we promised. But it didn’t happen and we both are still suffering. Even after seven long years. Did I ever atleast speak about kids? Or did I ever say that they are only important for both of us to stay together? No right? Then why did you look only one factor and left me? Is Love only about having kids?” he asks painfully letting his tears.

“I am sorry!” this is only thing Ragini could speak.

He shook his head. He made himself free from her. He was about to move once again but she holds his hand.

“Please Laksh! Please forgive me!” She pleads.

“You know what hurt me more? You didn’t feel me capable of sharing your pain atleast. I am more hurt that I am not able to be with you when you needed me the most. I know becoming a mother is something most of the girls dream of and I also know how much you must have gone through. I know you had gone through lots of pain infact more than my pain. I know it wasn’t easy for you to leave me. But still I am not going to forgive you for this.” He says and looks away.

“Please!” she pleads again.

“Give back those seven years to me I will forgive you.” He says and goes out of the room as Viren opened the door.

They are back from restaurant. Viren opened the door as he thought they might have solved everything. But Laksh left the room not even giving a glance to him. He looked at Ragini who is just looking down. He looked back at his parents who are looking disappointed same like him. He looked other side where Jeevika is coming from a room after placing a sleeping Anvi to bed. He sighed and about to move towards Ragini but she turned and started searching something in her cupboard.

He stopped himself and let her do what she wants. He wants everything to be sorted between RagLak. Ragini took something and moved out of the house.

Laksh who is sitting in the garden gazing the moon with teary eyes felt something in front of him. He looked at her to see her forwarding some five books.

“These are my diaries. I have shared those all things with it which I wanted to share with you. Because I may have left you but my heart is always with you. You have never given it back to me.” She says looking at him with teary eyes.

He stands up and hugs her tight immediately. Both of them cried their heart out in each other’s embrace. He hugged her as tight as he could as if he leaves her she will leave him again. Both of them cried their heart out. Once they both calmed down Laksh broke the hug.

“Promise me you will never ever leave me again!” he asks her wiping her tears.

“I promise!” she wipes his tears.

He hugs her again.

“I am still angry!” he says tightening the hug.

“Let’s read the diaries together.” She says smiling lightly.

He breaks the hug and nods. They both sit on the bench. The moon light and the small light in the garden has provided enough light for them to read. Laksh took her into his embrace while Ragini opened the diary. Laksh looked at the first page which has the words ‘My Laksh!’ on it.

He caresses it.

“Since you weren’t there with me I have to name this as you. It has been you for me.” Ragini says.

“You wouldn’t had to think of an alternative if you wouldn’t had left me.” He says glaring her.

Ragini pouts. He ignores her pout and turns the page. He starts reading it which told her feeling after knowing about the news of not able to conceive. His eyes turned teary feeling her pain and also for not able to be beside her. Ragini wipes of his tears shaking her head.

“I am sorry!” he whispers.

“Laksh please.” She pleads him not to blame himself for the mistake he never did.

“It’s not easy bacha. It’s not at all.” He whispers.

Ragini’s eyes turn teary. She hugs him again. He turns the pages reading one after the other. The first one has almost sad things for which both of them always got tears in their eyes. The second one had some beautiful memories which Ragini started creating herself in the village as she started living again. Every moment she kept remembering him whether it is a happy moment or the sad moment.

The family who came out to see what’s happening smiled at them and went back to their rooms. RagLak kept reading one after the other that they didn’t notice that night ended and a new day has arrived.

The new day for the fresh beginning has arrived. The new day leaving all the past behind and welcoming the new life has arrived. Laksh closed the last dairy as they completed reading it and looked at her.

“I am still angry!” he says pouting.

Ragini smiles and pecks his cheek.

“Thank You!” she whispers.

“You are my solace, my life, my breath. I cannot even imagine my life without you for a single day bacha. You don’t know how I felt all those seven years. I missed you every second. I needed you when I lost my brother. I needed you when Anvi used to cry. I needed you whenever she used to ask me 'Where is mumma?’. I needed you for saying everything will be alright soon. I needed you when I was feeling like…” he stops from saying something and looked away.

“When you were feeling like?” Ragini asks confused.

“Nothing!” he says still looking away.

She made him look at her.

“Answer me Laksh!” she says strictly.

“When I was feeling like giving up my life.” He says looking down.

Ragini gasps. She makes him look at her again. He nods with teary eyes. She hugged him tight letting her tears.

“Never ever let that thought come into your mind Laksh. Never!” she says sobbing in his embrace.

He hugs her tight.

“Never!” he whispers back as the tears flow from both their eyes.

She breaks the hug and cups his face. She slowly kisses his forehead lovingly.

“I Love You!” she says joining his forehead with hers.

“I Love You too!” he says finally back smiling.

She smiles happily.

“I feel so light!” Ragini says.

“Me too!” he says as he takes her into his embrace again.

“Let’s promise each other that we will never leave each other.” Laksh says.

“I Promise!” Ragini says.

“I Promise!” Laksh also says.

“And you will never think about you being not able to conceive. Because it will only give you pain. And I can’t see you in pain.” Laksh says as he joins both their foreheads again.

“I don’t need to. I have you. I have Anvi. You both doesn’t let me to think of my sorrows. You both always make me happy.” She says smiling.

“And you both always make me happy. One smile from you both I feel all the stress run away from me. All I get is only peace. You are my solace and peace ‘My Daughter's Mother’.” He says smile.

Ragini smiles. They both kept staring at each other lovingly forgetting the world. Their moment gets disturbed by barking sound. They both look at Chocolate who is barking at them wagging its tail. RagLak smile. Laksh bends and takes it into his arms. Ragini caresses his head.

“The Scary Ragini is vanished!” he says chuckling.

“Not at all. I am scared of dogs still. It’s only Chocolate I am not scared of.” She says with scared face.

Laksh laughs.

“Let’s start our jogging again. I miss the park a lot.” He says as he leaves Chocolate on the floor.

“From tomorrow!” Ragini says excited.

Laksh chuckles. He pulls her into a hug once again.

“On that day when you didn’t come I don’t know I was very restless. I stayed there waiting for you whole night there in the park trying your phone many times. I understood nothing. I was scared. I tried myself a lot to not to cry but ended crying. After waiting all those hours too I wasn’t willing to go but bhai has called me to reach home urgent. When I went home he said that he is going to marry that woman. I always didn’t like her. I was upset of not finding you and his decision added to my sorrow. That was the day which began to give pains to me and till you return back again all I had was tensions, stress. There were many times I thought of leaving the world. But once it was for bhai I had to stay strong. He got to know about that woman who was about to abort Anvi. I had to stay strong for him. Then again when bhai left me forever I was about to commit suicide but then Anvi, she has changed my life a bit. She has become my life. But the pain of being alone and the stress of many things always kept me provoking to leave the world. I had always tried to come over it. But all I get was pain. Slowly Anvi started growing. She gave me the reason to live again. She also gave me the hope of you coming back to me I don’t know how and why. I started living for her and with the hope of getting you back. The day you entered my life again I could feel myself relaxing getting back to life. Everything kept falling in its place and thus today I feel really good. It’s all because of you. You are my peace.” He says looking at her who is in his embrace.

He let all his heart out. She let all her heart out. Thus both are free from all the pressures, stress. Now all they could feel is peace. Ragini wiped away his tears.

“From now it’s only peace. I promise to be your peace till my last breath.” Ragini promises.

Laksh kisses her forehead lovingly while she closes her eyes feeling his love.

Two chapters since many wanted some cute moments between only RagLak. And I want to write some happy moments between whole family and RagLakAnvi. So two small cute parts are going to be coming before The End card!

I am not going to start any new story for now as I am not getting time to handle four stories at a time. So I have decided to write one for RagLak and another for RagSan. Once I get free I will start another story for both the couples.
