I laid in my room. For the past two days I have refused to come out of my room.

I was frustrated.

I was angry.

I was annoyed.

I was horny.

I demanded to speak with the true Alpha of this pack but I was always denied and told the same thing.

'You must be deemed worthy'

Most of all I ached for that scent that filled my lungs like air. She's here, I know she's here, but how do I find her? The pack members have been forbidden to speak with us.

What was her rank in the pack? Hopefully a warrior, if she were an omega or something of that sort she would be no better than Adrianna.

No, I know she's a warrior, I could sense her confidence in my dreams, how I've longed for the day to touch her.

"Fuck it, I'm not spending anymore time in this room, might as well enjoy this damn pack," I got up and grabbed a shirt as I walked out of the room shirtless. I looked over and noticed a servant wolf looking up at my shirtless figure with wide eyes. I pulled my shirt over my head and smirked.

"Boo," I said.

She quickly scurried away the opposite way.

"Pathetic," I laughed and shook my head.

I headed out of the pack house and made my way into the forest, away from the centre square, away from prying eyes.

"I know in this area of the country they have the most beautiful lakes, I wonder if there is one in this pack," I spoke to myself. I continued walking East, lost in my own thoughts until I came to a clearing, there in front of my was a clear blue lake as the sun shined over it.

"I bet bet the soil is fertile over here, this territory is enough to go to war over," I chuckled to myself.

I climbed down to get closer to the lake and then stopped.

There was someone in the water.

As I slowly hiked closer my heart began to pound in my chest and my palms got sweaty.

Her back was facing me, she had a smooth slender back, her black curly hair plastered to her back as the water glistened against her smooth, velvety brown skin. She was fully naked in the water, facing the sun.

She seemed familiar.

I wanted to get closer, I wanted to touch her, to feel her, my wolf yearned for her and then I understood.

Was this a dream? Have I finally found her after all this time? Standing right in front of me like some kind of mythical creature? I stood right on the beach of the lake and stared in awe.

Just turn around and look at me.

As if reading my thoughts she slightly looked over her shoulder and looked down, not enough for us to lock eyes but enough for me to be in her peripheral vision.

The moment I stepped forward she immediately sank into the lake, disappearing from my sight.

"WAIT!" I yelled out as I ran into the water fully clothed.

My wet clothes stuck to my body as I swam deeper and deeper into the water, hoping to reach her. I splashed around and dover underwater for nearly 2 hours but it was like she disappeared in front of my eyes.

"FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!" I screamed as I finally got out of the water and took off my soaking wet shirt. Not only was I mad but my wolf was furious, she was hiding from him and he didn't like that, he wanted her now.

I stormed back to the centre square frustrated, he had to know who she was, he was going to bring her to me right this instant. Pack members looked at me in fear as I stormed into the pack house and headed straight for the Alpha's office.

"WHERE IS SHE?!" I roared as I burst into his room, starling him and his guards.

"What the hell are you talking about?" He asked confused as he stood up.

I walked over to him and gripped him by his collar, my wolf was taking control and he was losing patience.

"The woman in the lake earlier where is she?!" I yelled.

"No one is allowed to go near that lake except....oh no, you don't want her," He sighed.

"Where is my mate?!" I snarled in his face.

"I promise you, she'll make you wish the moon goddess never cursed you with such a mate," He whispered.

"That's enough Issac, I can take it from here," There was a voice behind me that made the back of neck hairs stand up and goosebumps spread all throughout my body, that same voice from my dream.

It was her.

I remove my grip from Issac and stare into the dark corner of the room, opposite of the fireplace where the voice came from. She slowly stepped out pf the shadow with her head down, entire body wrapped in a white satin dress, her curly hair in a high bun. Her steps were quiet, almost like she were gliding.

The moment she looked up and my emerald eyes immediately made contact with her black orbs, time began to freeze around me. It was like the Earth was still and there were only us two in the room. I felt the mate pull the moment our eyes connected and I knew she was the one.

"Mate" We both whispered in unison.

She walked towards me as her long fingers skimmed my arm and before I knew it, I had a knife pressed against my throat.

"Threaten my Beta like that again and I'll be bathing in your blood," She hissed at me.

She pressed it hard enough to pierce skin and blood trickled down the blade.

But it oddly turned me on.

"Everyone, get out," She ordered. Everyone, including the Beta immediately left, leaving us both alone.

Her smell engulfed my nostrils like a drug and I needed more of it.

"Well well well, you've finally found me my love," She smirked as she sat down on top of the desk, right in front of me.

"You've been on my mind for months, I couldn't get you out of my head no matter how hard I tried, and I don't even know your name," I said.

I walked towards her as she slightly parted her legs, allowing me to step in between them so that I was towering over her.

"Is that right Alpha Kaiden? I hope they were good thoughts," She smirked up at me as she caressed down my bare torso.

This was like a dream come true, she was right in front of me, touching me. Her touch was like electric shocks to my body that I couldn't get enough of. This is what I've been missing out on all of these years without my mate?

"Should we reenact these dreams of mine?" I smirked as I grabbed onto her jaw and slightly tilted her head forward so I could get a good look at her.

She was even more beautiful than in my dreams, definitely was not disappointed.

Everything about her was intoxicating, she was my drug and I needed a fix. My wolf was craving her, he needed more of her, we've been away from her for too long and we needed her now.

"Tell me what you want to do to me Kaiden," My name sounded so natural coming out of her mouth.

I felt myself harden against my jeans at the sound of my name coming from her, it sounded so much better in person.

"Fuck," I groaned under my breath.

I felt her hands tug on the hem of my wet pants, her nails skimming my waist as she looked up at me with a innocent look in her eyes.

Was she like Adrianna? What if she were the same? No she couldn't be, she was paired for me, we had to be the same.

"Tell me Kaiden, tell me what your heart desires right now," She said as began massaging me through my pants.

She was driving me crazy, I don't know how much more control I'll be able to have before my wolf decides to take over.

I moaned lightly under my breath as I tried to ignore the urge to get aggressive and take her right here and right now on this desk.

"To fuck you so bad on this desk right now," I groaned as I gently rubbed her soft thighs up and down as I watched her slowly unbutton my pants and unzip my fly. I watched with wide eyes as she spit into her hand and plunged it down my pants, feeling her warm hand wrap around me.

"Oh fuck, you shouldn't be teasing me like this," I bit my tongue as I nearly felt my wolf try to take over.

"Hmmm maybe you're right, this isn't the time or place for this right now," She bit her bottom lip and removed her hands from my pants.

That's when I could no longer control myself.

My hand immediately flew to her neck, gripping the sides of her throat as I pushed her back against the desk, my other hand reaching up her satin dress.

She wasn't wearing underwear, such a promiscuous woman.

"Don't you dare think it's okay for you to tease me like that, you are mine and I will have you whenever I want," I growled in her face.

"Kaiden you may be a king amongst peasants but I am a Goddess amongst kings and peasants," She pushed me away with her feet which threw me off guard causing me to stumble back from her.

She hopped off the desk and walked towards me, she grabbed the hand I used to finger her and sucked the wetness clean off my fingers, leaving me shocked and excited.

"I'll have a couple of my finest warriors come collect you from your room tomorrow around 5 so that we can talk business, don't forget to dress nice my love," She fixed her dress before walking out of the room, leaving me stunned and in awe.
