It was a sunny Saturday as Landon was pulling up to his mom's driveway as the garage door was opening up, and there stood his mom.

"Hey mom," Landon said as he got out of the car.

"Hey sweetie I pulled out all your old stuff," she told him as they walked into the garage and started going through the boxes of his old clothes, movies, and toys.

"So how are things?" his mom casually asked him.

"Things are fine mom," he told her.

"That's good I was just thinking you two should come to dinner tonight."

Landon paused for a moment.

"Uh, that's great but...I got to work tonight," he told her.

His mom looked at him.

"Ok so if I call your boss.."

"Mom.."

"Landon Richard Watkins I want you and your.. Girlfriend to come over for dinner tonight I think it's important to get everyone together and know each other before the baby gets here.

Landon sighed.

He knew it was over and that he wasn't going to win.

"Ok mom we will be over for dinner tonight he said.

"Thank you but why are you two being so secretive about this a baby is coming soon secret or not."

Landon picked up a box and carried it to the back of his truck.

"It's just..."

"Just wait?" his mom asked.

As they were talking Becca was on her phone and walked into the doorway of the garage took one look at the boxes and the quietly turned around and went back into the house before Landon and their mom seen her.

"Its just hard to explain to people and I don't want to do that."

Landon's mom looked at him.

"What is it hard to explain to people?"

He took a deep breath.

"That I'm in love with a nineteen year old."

"I'm nervous.." Prada said as she got out of the car.

Landon held her hand don't be nervous I'm sure she will like you I mean she's your doctor."

Prada looked at him.

"That's professional this is personal she told him as they walked up to the front door.

"She will like you personally too.' Landon said trying to reassure her.

On the outside Landon was cool, but on the inside, he was nervous when it came to women his mom and sister were like a jury.

He knocked on the door, and soon his mom answered.

"Hello," she said.

"Hey, mom."

"Hey," Prada said as they all walked inside the smell of food filled her nose as she looked around the cozy family style home.

As she was following Landon and his mom she saw a picture of a little boy with dark hair.

"Ok you guys get your plates." his mom said

They got their plates and made their way to the table they were having spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad.

Becca walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where everyone was she looked at everyone.

"Prada this is my daughter Rebecca." The mom introduced them.

She looked at Prada

"You look like a knock off."

"Well hello to you too sweetheart Prada spat back trying to be nice.

Becca went and fixed her a plate when the doorbell ringed.

"I wonder who that could be."
Ms. Watkins said as she got up and answered the door leaving Prada, Landon, and Becca sitting at the table.

Becca looked at both of them.

"So how did you two meet?" she asked.

"How are you doing in school?" Landon asked avoiding the question.

"That's not what I asked.."

"Asked what?" D said as he entered the room standing next to Landon's mom.

"What are you doing here?" Landon asked.

"There was another reason I wanted everyone over for dinner.." His mom explained.

"Why is that?" Landon asked looking over at D.

"Dude don't be mad at me, but I'm dating your mom."

Landon looked at his mom.

"Yes we are dating." his mom said.

Landon sat back with the news that just hit him in the face.
