AH YES THE BOOK OF INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS LET ME CONTINUE

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know that feeling when you zone out while your friend is talking? Not because they're annoying or anything—just because your mind has wandered off to some crisis-level thought. Yeah, that's me right now. Poor Jisung's yapping away about something or other, but I have no clue what he's on about.

Why? Because my brain has been hijacked by one thought, screaming in all caps: HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO FINISH MY PSYCHOLOGY HOMEWORK?!

As he keeps going, I nod along, throwing in the occasional "Mhm" or "No way" just to make it seem like I'm actually listening. But my mind? Oh, it's busy panicking about the mountain of work I still haven't touched. My psychology assignment is sitting at home, mocking me from a messy pile of papers.

"So what are we gonna do about Felix?" Jisung asked, looking at me expectantly.

"Hm?" I mumbled, snapping out of my thoughts.

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, you know—the whole situation with him ditching us for Hyunjin lately?"

"Ohhh," I said, finally piecing it together. "That's what you were talking about! I thought you were going on about Minho's dick again."

Jisung practically choked on his drink, smacking my arm. "Jeongin! I mentioned that one time."

I smirked, shrugging. "Couldn't tell—lately, it seems like all we talk about is everyone's love lives... except mine, obviously."

He snorted. "Maybe it's time for a change, huh?"

"What kind of change?" Felix asked, appearing out of nowhere and making me jump.

Jisung grinned. "Jeongin, our baby bread, is either trying to get a girlfriend or finally finish his homework. Honestly, either one would be progress."

Felix looked at me, genuinely puzzled. "Wait, I thought you were gay."

"GAY?! I'm not gay!" I blurted, feeling my face heat up.

Felix raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms. "Your entire friend group is gay, I.N. How on earth aren't you gay?"

"I—I don't know," I stammered, feeling everyone's eyes on me.

Jisung smirked. "Maybe you're just... bi-curious?" he suggested, winking.

I sputtered, speechless, as the two of them broke into laughter. Great, I thought, sinking into my seat.

"Hey," Chan said, appearing out of nowhere with that usual calm smile.

I nearly jumped out of my skin. My first instinct? Run. Why, you might ask? Because if you don't remember, I woke up on his chest this morning. Not in my bed.

Just the memory of it made my face burn. "Uh, hey," I managed, hoping I didn't look as guilty as I felt.

He raised an eyebrow, looking amused. "You okay? You seem a bit... jumpy."

"N-Nope, totally fine!" I said, probably a little too fast.

Chan chuckled, leaning in slightly. "You sure? You looked pretty comfortable this morning."

If there was ever a time for the ground to swallow me whole, now would be perfect

"What do you mean, comfortable?" Felix asked, looking genuinely puzzled.

"Oh, he didn't tell you?" Chan smirked, clearly enjoying himself. "Mate came over at 1 a.m., crashed at my place, and ended up sleeping on my chest." He looked at me with that teasing glint in his eye.

Felix's jaw dropped, his gaze darting between us. "Seriously? Jeongin, you didn't mention that part."

My face felt like it was on fire. "It wasn't—it wasn't like that!" I stammered, practically choking on my words. "I just... I had homework, and, uh... things got out of hand?"

Felix burst into laughter. "Right. 'Homework.' Sure, that's why you were all snuggled up to Chan at dawn."

"Homework? You had b—" Chan started, but I cut him off before he could finish that sentence.

I shot him a warning look, whispering urgently, "Dude, you seriously need an off switch for that mouth of yours."

Felix was eyeing us both suspiciously, clearly loving every second of my humiliation. Chan, however, just grinned, looking completely unbothered by the chaos he was creating. "What? I'm just telling the truth," he said, shrugging innocently. "Nothing wrong with needing a little late-night... advice."

I swear, my life flashed before my eyes. "I'll have you know it was purely educational," I blurted, immediately realizing how that sounded.

Felix snickered. "Sure, educational. Tell me more about this 'extra credit' assignment, Jeongin."

If embarrassment could kill, I'd be six feet under by now.
