Karan couldn't take off his eyes from her. She was something magnetic to his eyes that he was too attracted to realise anything.
As they were sitting.
He unknowingly picks up the cup, thinking it to be tea but realised it to be empty once he tried drink.
He thought he embarassed himself in front of her but little did he know she actually didn't bother about his presence.

While on the other side Tejasswi was just like a key doll.
She sat there on her family's orders.
She knew what was going around her.
But will question and her self confidence had died down once she was cage. She was literally inside the 4 walls for 3 months.
And the fresh air in terrace somewhat got her the desire to stay there.

And the bangle in her hands grabbed his attention. If not wrong it was his deceased mother's bangle which would be handover to his wife as per the family tradition.

Karan: Tejasswi...
She looked at him.
He smiles:let me introduce myself. I am Karan. I hope you know.
She simply nods to him.
He further didn't know what to speak to her.
He really thought would it be good to tell her about Mrunalini?
He really didn't wanted a bad impression about him on her. As Anil told, no women would accept her future husband having a past. But he was always honest, how could he hide it. Where as till today he was fully thinking about Mrunalini.
Karan:I had a past. I wanted to marry a lady. But she chose someone else over me.
She did not reply. But was looking him. Straight into his eyes. Which really got him nervous.
Karan:so would you accept me with the past?I know it might be unacceptable. But I did not wanted to hide.
She still did not reply. But her gaze on him remained constant and being honest he was shy now.
He looked at her.
And her silence literally continued until her brother came.
Yup he was only given 5 minutes, but these people let him for 15 minutes.

Anil was looking at the car which is broken and Karan was smiling on his own.
He laughed,he was moving around and was only imagining about tejasswi.
Anil was annoyed now:what exactly happened that you are having seizures?
Karan looks at him landing back to reality:oh damn. My car!!!
Anil:yeah. The Car!!!

But Karan again smiles that realising just like some novels, his mind was occupied by Tejasswi.
Anil just hits his own on to his forehead.
Could that be, they did some black magic on him.Could that be?
Those people on the home looked scary. What if they put something in his food or drinks. It could be possible he is under the effects of black magic!!!!

Karan:Mamu. You think that lady would like me?
Anil mutters:he is surely under black magic.
Karan:say something.
Anil: how would I know. I didn't even see her.
Karan:you know how beautiful she was. She had some elegance, just like we find the women in some books. She had the aura of being the heroine of some book.
Anil looks on:so it's ain't a black magic but the author in him found the new lead inspiration.
Karan: she certainly gave me peace in her silence. Like I was feeling like to be her devotee all my life. I can just live my life just by looking at her. Those... Those 15 minutes were not enough for me... I am craving to look for her more. I am craving for more.
Anil was looking at him without even blinking his eyes.
Karan:I don't know. But I am missing her already. But could this be a mere attraction. Mamu tell me....

Later..

They were sitting at a restaurant.
Anil was eating his dinner.
While Karan was looking at him.
Anil:I can't eat if you keep looking at me like that..
Karan:then tell me ...
Anil huffs:tell you what? Do you even know you are crazy and acting like a teenage boy who just fell in ......
He stops.
Karan:fell in what?
Anil smiles:could that be? You fell in love with her?
Karan was getting slightly excited:I am in love with her?
But his excitement drained:No ..
Anil:why no?
Karan:I don't think I fell in love with her. I don't believe in someone's beauty. I can't set this bar. I shouldn't be attracted like this.... When I know and mourned my love for Mrunalini all these days...
Anil:At some extent you are right. And I believe it too... It's like a blind man can never fall in love if it's about the perspective of eyes. But I think the perspective of a heart is different, look your cousin rejected her because she did not match his beauty expectations. But seems it's different for you. What I mean to say is actresses nowadays are popular for beauty but does that make a man to want her to marry her? I don't think so though there are some spineless men but not all of them. It could be a fate as well, where you suddenly decided to meet, despite you don't like the atmosphere of her house but you like her. I think when you start to ignore the odd things which you never did just because of that particular person then I think there is some strong feeling.
Karan looks on, he didn't even bother about the surrounding and wierd men in her house after meeting her.
Anil:I guess you got the answer.

Anil:between what did you speak with her? Did you tell her about the conditions...
Karan was in thinking now. More of a condition he was pretending to request her to not to reject him after knowing about his past. Forget conditions!!!
Anil:what did she say?
And that's when he realised. She didn't speak a word.

Dada ji: I heard you went to meet the bride?
Karan nods:yes, because I wanted to know about the person i am marrying.
Though his dada ji didn't like about it but had to act in front of him:yeah.. you did a good thing.
He wanted this relation to continue with any of his grandsons. So her family could help him with his political career.
Well Karan was aware of it anyway.

Dada ji:I am thinking of getting you and vinay married on the same day.
Karan nods.
Dada ji: so come back here and stay...
Karan:until when?
Dada ji did not expect him asking this:this is your home. I cannot let you stay away from the family.
Karan:No.. Dada ji am good away from the home. But I am okay staying here during the marriage.
Dada ji had nothing to say now:okay. I will ask the priest to look good day for the marriage in two weeks.
He just nods.

He moves out when he saw his cousin vinay and Ajay.
Vinay was of same age as him and was younger to him with some months while Ajay was 6 years younger to him.
Him and Ajay had a good relation while Vinay always found him as a competition since the childhood. Vinay always wanted the things better than Karan. From toys to outfits to Cars to even bride.

Ajay hugged him:hello bhaiyya, it's been long time.
Karan smiles.
Ajay:abhi tho bhabhiyan aane wali hai. Mujhe kon yaad rakhega.
Karan:aisa kabhi ho sakta hai.
Ajay smiles. He was all decent until it comes to business . He had equal greed as vinay.

Karan:vinay congratulations...
Vinay nods:you too .. but I did not expect you would like to marry the girl whom I rejected.
Karan smiles and jokingly:it's good then. She won't have any other eyes looking upon her.
Vinay looks at him.
Karan smiles:I was joking.
Ajay smiles:between vinay bhaiyya's bride. Some beauty pageant's themselves approached her to join the contest. She is very beautiful.
Vinay smiles.
Karan:nice.. then you should support her to do ..
Vinay:why would I? I would never want someone's filthy eyes on her.
Karan:what a bad luck. Okay then bye ...
Vinay glared him for the remark.
But as usual Karan ignored him.

Apart from these too there was another cousin of him.Sanjay urf Sanju. Who doesn't know when he comes and when he goes or where he goes. But Sanju is his favourite brother. He would appear whenever he wish to...

Ajay:too much of your jealousy..
Vinay:no point of jealousy...
Ajay:exactly ... After there is no match between you both. Bade Papa's shares are with him. So he has the most of the shares. That's the reason Dada ji don't go against him and no wonder it makes him the most eligible next chairperson. Guess suddenly if he makes up his mind then I don't know about me but you would endup with empty hand!
He moves.
While Vinay grits his teeth.

When he heard about tejasswi's proposal all he looked up was her family.they had good hand on politics. He wanted someone with only daughter and much higher financial status.
Also when he visited her with family. She looked so dull, with baggy dark circles and dull skin. Tejasswi was no where would match him.
And found about his fiance Divya, who matched his expectations.
But Karan's instant acceptance over tejasswi's proposal makes him rethink about his decision. He would definitely have seen some benifit in tejasswi that he agreed instantly. What could it be?
