CHAPTER 33
~Answers~
*JUNGKOOK*
“Have we met before?” Jimin asked him, moving closer towards him.
Jungkook stayed quiet, looking deeply into his beautiful eyes. He remembered seeing those eyes in the graveyard. He had assumed it to be a dream because he knew him as someone blind and wasn’t expecting him to suddenly start seeing _turns out he can see now_
Funny, right?
Jungkook stuffed his hands into his pocket and let out a sigh, lowering his gaze to the ground.
He remembered the last time they met at the same beach, he was blind at that time. He remembered how he got the memories of his name, which was quite a mystery to him.
Like seriously, what was his name doing in his fucked up head?
Have he met him before as a kid?
Does he know him but just can’t remember?
But why not?
Why can’t he remember him?
If he has really met him before as a kid then he should have recognize him, right?
*No, you were the one with your father and not your mother.* Lim had told him earlier that day.
*What if your mother can't remember that night because she wasn't the one who was with your father that night. What if it was someone else… probably you.*
*That can't be possible. I can still remember that night. I remember my father and mother going out that night.*
*What if your head is playing a trick on you?*
What if Namjoon was right?
What if there is something really wrong with his head and mind?
What if the details he have in his head were all fake?
He needed answers.
Answers for everything.
He started getting flashback the very day he heard ‘his’ name. Maybe he could find answers if he gets closer to him.
Who knows… maybe the answers he was looking for lies with him.
Anything can be possible…. and for him? He was looking for possibilities.
“Yes.” He answered, bringing his head up to look at him.
He raised a questioning brow at him, surprised. “We have? When? Where? How?” Jimin asked all at once.
“Am I to answer every of those question?” He asked.
“Well yes. Because I’m totally con… wait, did we meet here?” He slowly asked him, narrowing his eyes at him.
“Yes. I saw you dancing. I fell in love with your dance moves. So I kept coming.” He stated with a little shrug of the shoulder.
Jimin gasped staring at him wide eyes. Jungkook gave him the what’s_that_look_for? look.
“You are him?” He asked slowly, lifting his hand up and placing it over his face, surprising Jungkook even the more. Jimin shut his eyes close and started trailing his fingertip over his eyebrows, eyes, ear, nose, jaw, his lips and finally came up to his hair, a tear slipped through his eyes as he smiled. “I can’t…believe it.” He whispered, opening his eyes. “You are really him. Just like I had imagine… you are handsome.” He dropped his hand down to his side.
“What was that for?” He asked him.
“I might not be able to recognize you but I recognize your features.” Jimin stated, still smiling.
“I… don’t get.”
“The day I trailed your face when blind, you asked me what I was doing… what was my reply that day?”
Jungkook kept quiet for a while as if trying to remember then said. “You said, you might not be able to see my face but you can imagine it right in your head.”
“You remembered.”
Of course he could. After that day, he couldn’t fucking get him off his head and thoughts.
“I have a retentive memory, I guess.”
^Do you?^ His subconsciousness asked.
Jimin chuckles lightly, walking toward the waters, wrapping his arms around his body to give warmth to himself. Suddenly a warm jacket landed on his body.
He stared down at it then slowly look up at Jungkook. “You will get cold.” He said calmly.
“You are the one getting cold now.” Jimin replied him. Jungkook took the lead while he followed him from behind, putting on the jacket with a smile plastered on his face.
“Thank you.”
They both sat down on the beach sand and stared right at the flowing waters. Bobo came up to sit beside his owner.
“Why didn’t you recognize me?” Jimin asked, breaking the ice that had fallen between them.
“I was drunk. And I was also surprised.” He stated.
“I know right. How can a once blind boy start seeing all of a sudden?” He shrugged. “I will be very surprised if I were you.”
Jungkook turned to look at him. “What happened?”
Wait, why does he sound so interested in his life and business? He wasn’t that type of guy or person get so interested into someone else’s life. So what’s going on right now?
Was he crazy?
“I happened.” Jimin replied looking at him now.
“Hmm.” Jungkook hummed, turning his face away from him and looking back at the waters.
“Why were you there?”
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about the graveyard… why were you there?” Jimin asked him.
He shrugged. “I was there to see my father. Don’t ask me any further question about him or anything.” He snapped.
Jimin flinched a little. “I wasn’t going to ask anything so chill.” They fell into an awkward silent again. Neither of them saying a word. Then suddenly something clicked in Jungkook's head and he snapped his head towards him. “You were the passer-by who handed my stick over that other day, weren’t you?”
“I guess.” He shrugged.
“You’ve been watching me dance for that long?”
“I guess.”
“I didn’t even notice.”
“You wouldn’t have. I made sure sure to stay very quiet.”
“You said I danced okay and that you love my moves… do you really meant those words?”
He didn’t say anything.
“Why did you lie?” Jimin questioned, offended that he lied to him about his dance moves.
“I didn’t.”
“You couldn’t even answer the question.” Jimin pointed out.
“Here,” He handed his phone over to Jimin, he collected it and stared down at it. There was a video playing. A video of him. Dancing. “What do you think?” Jungkook was staring at him now.
“I never imagined to dance so well like this.” Jimin whispered, still watching himself dance beautifully.
“I never imagined a blind guy to be this perfect with his dance moves.”
“I know right.” Jimin smiled. “Why did you video it?”
“I don’t know.” He shrugged. “To show it to you?”
“I was blind, I couldn’t have possibly watch it.” Jimin reasoned out.
“True. Probably to watch it when I feel like it?”
Jimin laugh softly. “Now that sound better.” He handed his phone over to him. “Aren’t you going to ask me?”
“What?”
“Aren’t you going to ask me how I started seeing and what made me so eager to want to see again?”
“I was going to ask if you were okay.” ^since when did you start becoming nice?^ His subconsciousness asked him. He doesn’t even know. But this boy… he was making him very different. So different. “But it’s not_”
“I’m doing fine.” Jimin sighed. “I lost my aunt not quite long ago. She was murdered right in her room.”
“What?”
“Scary, right?” He smiled. “It hurts. It hurts to feel this scared. She was the only family I had after the death of my parents. She looked after me, took care of me, loved me and showed me love. She was my everything. And boom, she’s gone. I opened my eyes and could suddenly see… it was magical. Like come on, I can finally see again. I was happy. Happy that I was finally going to see my aunt, my home, Bobo and even…you.”
“Me?”
Jimin nod his head. “You are also one of the reasons why I really wanted to see again.”
“Why are you telling me all of this things?”
“I don’t know. You are probably the only one I could say all this things to and trust.”
“Trust?”
“I know, it’s crazy.” He giggled. “But do you know what is more crazy?” Jungkook raised a brow, indirectly telling him to talk. “Smiling when hurting inside.”
“Smiling?”
“My mother once told me, the greatest weapon to use to conquer your enemy is your smile.”
“How is that even possible?”
“I asked her that as well, trust me. But do you know what she said to me?… She said ‘one smile can confuse the enemy.’ And she was right. My aunt used that very strategy on me.”
“Where you the enemy?”
He shook his head. “I wasn’t. But I didn’t know she was hurting inside.”
“How would you even know? You were… you know?”
“Blind?” He nod his head. “I should have still felt it.” Jimin sighed. “Or maybe I’m just stupid.”
“Then what are you going to say about me?”
“What do you mean?”
“I’ve never smiled before since his death.” He said in a low voice, lowering his gaze to the ground.
He has never opened up to someone before. He was the first. And even when his subconsciousness was telling him to stop, he still wanted to tell him. He still wanted to let him know what he really was on his inside.
“Whose death?”
“My father.” He paused. “He died when I was nine years of age.” He paused again. “I…”
“Don’t say anything.” Jimin stopped him, placing a hand over his shoulder. “You don’t have to say anything if you don’t feel like it.” He smiled. “It’s not that difficult, you know.”
“What?”
“Smiling. It’s not that difficult.” Jimin shrugged. “You just have to feel the moment.” He said, standing up to his feet. He shrugged off his jacket and dropped it on the floor and began dancing to the rhythm of the waves.
“What are you doing?”
“Dancing. You said you like my dance moves.”
“And?”
“I want to give you a private concert.” Jimin smiled, moving slowly to the rhythm. “Don’t worry I will be your private dancer.”
“Are you sure about that?”
“Now that makes it more fun.” He giggled.
“Why are you dancing?” He asked again, still confused.
“I want to make you feel the moment.” Jimin grabbed his hand and pulled him up to his feet. “I want to make you smile.”

They watch them dance while the dancer kept smiling and the other was frowning.
Their hands clenched into a tight fist and their face were hardened like a steel rock.
“Why are they together?” They growled in anger. “They can’t be together… it’s going to ruin my fucking plans!”
