CHAPTER 19
~Another Tragedy….~
*NAMJOON*
“Hello, doctor Woong.” Namjoon greeted as he walked into the doctor’s office.
The man looked up from his files to Namjoon and knitted his brows in confusion. “Um, who are you?”
“I guess you can’t remember me again.” Namjoon smiled. “Can I at least sit?”
“Uh…yeah. Sure.” Namjoon pulled a chair out and sat down opposite from doctor Woong. “So, what can I do for you?”
“Well, firstly, I have to introduce myself to you…” Doctor Woong nodded his head in approval, his hands were folded together and was placed over the desk. “I’m detective Namjoon.”
“Detective?”
“Seems like that’s the only thing you picked out.” Namjoon muttered to himself. “Well, yeah.”
“What can I do for you, detective?” Doctor Woong questioned, staring directly at Namjoon.
“I need answers, doc” Namjoon said, going straight to the point without beating around the bush.
“Answers to what?”
“There was a patient who came to your hospital eighteen years ago.”
“Eighteen years ago? That’s a very long time, detective.” Doctor Woong said, picking his words carefully.
“Yes. But I’m certain you will know this patient when I call his name… Jeon Jungkook.” He said.
Doctor Woong kept mute, his gaze never left Namjoon’s. It took him ten minutes to let out a word. “Jeon Jungkook…” Woong repeated, trying his possible best to remember the name. “Eighteen years ago?”
“Yes. Do you remember him?”
“Well, I don’t think so.” Woong said, shaking his head slowly. “How old was he?”
“Eight years.” Namjoon repeated.
“I can’t really recall, detective but I hope no problem?”
“No. Not at all.” He took out his card and handed it to the doctor. “Please call me when you remember.”
“Sure.” Woong said after collecting the card.
“See you soon then” Namjoon stood up to his feet and left the office.
He slammed the door shut but didn’t leave immediately, he just stood in front of the door.
He knew about his arrival. Those were the first thought that came into his mind.
It took him ten minutes to give answers to his question, which only meant one thing… He was taking things into consideration. He was picking his words carefully because he was being careful not to slip the truth out.
Namjoon could detect.
Namjoon started walking away from the office.
Doctor Woong couldn’t be the killer… Namjoon thought to himself. … But someone must have asked him not to say a word.
And all fingers points at…her.
Mrs Jeon Dohwa. Jungkook’s mother. And he will stop at nothing until he find answers, he knows it’s going to take sometime but nothing was going to stop him.
Not even Jungkook.

*JIMIN*
“why are you crying, Lisa? What’s going on? Where’s my Aunt?” Jimin asked, looking around to see if he was going to see her somewhere in the corner, hiding.
But there was no one else in the room aside from Lisa and himself.
Something was wrong. Something very bad and it scares the shit out of him.
“My prince…” Lisa’s voice trailed off again, Jimin waited patiently for her to drop the bombshell and finally she did dropped it. “She’s gone.”
“Who is gone?” Jimin asked not wanting to believe his ears.
“Your aunt…. she’s gone. We found her dead in her room and you were also lying unconscious beside her. At first I thought you were dead but we hurriedly rushed you to the hospital. Doctor Woong performed the surgery. He gave your aunt’s eyes to you, he said it was her last wish.” Lisa explained, tears flowing down to her face.
“You are kidding, right?” Jimin questioned, getting out of the bed, shaking his head continually to the news. “My aunt can’t be dead. Hell, I haven’t even told her how much I love her and admire her, how much I appreciate her for everything she did for me. I haven’t asked her to forgive me for my harsh words towards her…she can’t die. No.” Jimin said in between sobs.
“I’m sorry.” That was all Lisa could say. It wasn’t helpful at all to Jimin. In fact it made him feel worse.
He should be saying that word to his aunt and not the other way round.
He was the one who broke her heart. He accused her of a crime he knew for fact she knows nothing of.
He cursed her.
He kicked her out of his room.
He doubted her.
He showed her hatred.
And he couldn’t even say sorry to her before she died.
He wasn’t even there at her dying moment.
He wasn’t by her side.
Hell, he didn’t even get to say goodbye.
Just like how he lost his parents… they died without saying goodbye.
He was practically left alone with no one, no family, no mother, no father, no aunt… No one.
Why does tragedy keeps befalling him?
Why does his story have to be filled with one of sadness and brokenness?
Why can’t he be happy like other people?
He quickly ran out of the ward, ignoring Lisa’s call.
He ran as fast as his legs could carry him.
He was broken.
He was lost….
He finally came to a stop in front of a garden, he look around and for the first time in five years, he saw the colors of the world. He saw light. He was out of his darkness but still it felt like he was still surrounded by it.
He dropped to the ground and started crying.
His heart hurts.
His heart aches.
Another tragedy has befallen him… He has lost a very important person in his life, again.
Maybe he really doesn’t deserve happiness.
Maybe his story is meant to be filled with sadness and sorrows.
He was a curse prince after all… how could he have forgotten that?

Jimin stared at his reflection on the mirror. He has been crying since he woke up from the deep sleep, non stop.
Even the tears seem to have dry off that he couldn’t even cry again.
His hair were messy, his eyes were sad and red, his face were pale, his lips were very dried and they were trembling as well, he was looking so thin, pale and broken.
His hand came up to his face, one word kept repeating in his head as he stared at himself… *So she really did exist.*
He has always wanted to see, he have always wanted to see his aunt’s beautiful face, he have always wanted to hug, kiss her with his eyes opened … And now, he can actually finally see but he wasn’t happy…still!
He hates the boy he was seeing on that mirror. He hates the fact that he wouldn’t be able to see his aunt’s pretty face. Who was he kidding? He was even using her eyes.
A sudden anger shot up in him, his face hardened as he glared at the boy in front of him.
He hated this boy, he hated him like crazy. The boy is nothing but a weakling, he is broken, sad, hurt, in pain…and that boy happens to be him.
Officially, he hates himself.
Jimin slowly closed his eyes and let out a deep breath.
He couldn’t see anything due to the fact his eyes were closed… maybe this would have been better. Being blind would have reduce the pain, because he wouldn’t be able to see that boy he hated so much.

*DOCTOR WOONG*
“Hello.”
“He came, didn’t he?”
“Yes. How did you know he was going to come?”
“I guessed.” She replied. “Hope you didn’t tell him anything?”
“I didn’t.” He paused. “But why don’t you want to tell him the truth?” He asked after the sudden silent.
“What?”
“Why are you keeping the truth from him… From Jungkook, I mean?”
“I’m following your instructions, doc. You asked me not to force Jungkook into remembering his past and most especially the accident. You said the accident caused a big shock to him and would be better if he doesn’t remember about it.”
“Yeah. I did say that but he has passed that stage, Mrs Jeon. He needs to find his memory soon.” He said.
“Then let him.” She responded nonchalantly.
“He won’t if you don’t help him.”
She let out a sigh through the other line. “I can’t.” She muttered. “I have to go now.” With that, she hung up the call.
Doctor Woong stared at the phone blankly, he shrugged off his shoulders and proceeded with his business.

*NAMJOON*
Namjoon walked out of the elevator and was heading out of the hospital when he bumped into someone for the second time that day.
He must be out of his mind to be bumping into people like this.
He look up at the person to apologize but no words left his lips as his gaze met hers. It was her. She was the same girl he bumped into earlier today.
She hasn’t stopped crying. If anything, she was crying harder than she had earlier today when he saw her.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered. She was going to walk away when Namjoon caught hold of her wrist, stopping her from making any further step.
“Are you okay?” He asked her, looking deeply into her eyes. She nodded her head yes then shook it no, she nods again, shook it… She was even confuse. “What happened?” Namjoon asked.
“I…” She looked up at him. “Please help me.” She begged.
“What?”
“Please help him. You are a detective, right? I heard you telling that nurse.” She snatched his hand and held it in between hers. “Please help him.”
“Who?” Namjoon asked confused.
“My prince.”
