"So you want to destroy my relationship with Freddy? How?" Kate hissed. "You will go around Abuja searching for us or what? As soon as this plane lands, we will go our separate ways!"

I rubbed my hands together and shrugged. "I will do my best to find Freddy. What you are saying doesn't concern me!"

"Okay! Do whatever you want but let me tell you, Freddy will never choose a stranger over his girlfriend that loves him and have supported him for years".

"We shall see who the real stranger is!" I said and anchored my attention on a magazine I held.

The plane touched down and Kate quickly left. Later, I saw her board a taxi. I wished I could follow her so I could find Freddy but I knew it wouldn't be a smart idea. My success in the entertainment industry would be at risk.

That afternoon at 3pm, I reached my destination, a hotel.

Hehe! Where you disappointed? My destination isn't just a hotel. It's a hotel where I shall meet the producers, directors, casts and crews. We all shall stay there.

I was so excited as I strolled in, pulling my suitcases behind me. I was given my room number. I got there and knocked at the door. It swung open, revealing a tall slim lady.

"Hey," she did a brief wave and placed her attention on her phone.

"Um...The receptionist said this is my room"

"Okay!"

"But you are here?"

Her eyes still on the phone. "I know!"

"So oo?"

"We are roommates! Any problem?"

"No oo!"

"Jenna, we have a new roommate," she shouted into the room.

"Let her come in nah!" a voice yelled. I presumed that she would be Jenna. "Leave your phone alone. Online lover!"

The young woman at my front rose a brow and glanced at me.

I guess maybe she is in her late twenties, I mused.

"Come in," she said. I nodded and walked into the room.

"Why are we sharing a room?" I quizzed.

"Our film director, Mr Solomon insisted we do. He wants all the cast in the same venue. He wants to wrap up the movie as soon as possible," Jenna replied. "My name is..."

"Jenna, right?"

"Yeah! How did you know?"

"Um..she," I pointed to the online lover. "She said it and I guessed it would be you".

"Oh!" she chuckled. "Her name is Chioma".

"I'm Naomi. Nice to meet y'all" I dropped my handbag on the bed and turned to them. "So how are we going to share this room?"

"The bed is king-sized. We can all sleep on it!" Jenna replied.

"No! I shall sleep on the couch. I don't like sleeping on the same bed with strangers!" she snorted and scrunched her face.

"What about you, Naomi?"

"I...I...I will sleep on the bed with...with you," I replied.

Lord, help me!

"Mtchew! Life no balance!" Chioma hissed. "The rich actors and actresses were allowed to stay in another hotel. A five star hotel, you know! But we...we have to manage whatever we see. By the grace of God, I will be a big star. Everyone will be begging me to star in their movies".

"Is it true?" I inquired, lifting a brow.

"Yeah! If you are rich and can afford a five-star hotel, go and speak to the director," Jenna exclaimed.

I let out a boisterous laughter and looked at them. "I'm not as rich as that!"

"Then you are stuck with us," Chioma nodded.

The next day, I joined the other casts at the hall in the hotel. He wanted to introduce the people that will act the different characters in the movie.

"So I am Mr Solomon, your film director," he announced and placed a pen at the open space between his ear and head. "The name of our movie is His Love".

"Woo ooo!" Most girls voiced.

"His love," I mumbled. "I'm a fan of romance. Nice!"

"Have you all gotten the manuscript?"

"Yes!" They voiced.

"Yes!" I added.

"The female lead that will be the protagonist's love will be acted by a Nigerian actress!" he declared and tapped on the table beside him. "Her name is Katherine James. Kate, where are you? Please come out".

Kate strolled to the director and my mouth dropped.

We meet again. Through her, I will find Freddy. No matter what she does to stop me.

I will be brief with my description of the evil woman.

Kate is filled with a lot of artificial. Her long wine-colored fingernails. Long braids that touched her butt. High heels. Fake eyelashes. Contact lens that's blue. Then her face is plastered with makeups.

I frowned. She fits to be the bad woman in the movie not me.

"The female, Rita that's against the protagonist in the movie will be acted by...." his eyes swept across the crowd and met mine. "Naomi Tosin!"

I straightened myself till I was standing erect in the heels I wore. With my heads high, I made my way to him.

Anita has always advised me to be confident. That way people will respect me.

"As for the main man. The guy the whole story will revolve around and the one that will cause the love triangle that will lead to a fight between the women. His name is Eric in the movie and that will be starred by Frederick Okoro".

I didn't know when or why I did it but I did. I screamed and hopped in excitement. When Kate and the director sent a quizzical look at me, I stopped.

I hope Freddy didn't see that.

The fresh and handsome Freddy bounced to us. He stood by my side and the director continued to call out casts and their role in the movie.

Freddy leaned close to me and whispered, "You seemed excited. How did you know it would be me?"

"I didn't oo. I thought I heard a famous actor's name. Right now, I'm disappointed"

He pursed his lips, feigning anger. "How can you say that? My heart is bleeding. Don't you know I'm a famous actor?"

"Famous isn't the right word to describe you!" I teased and smiled at him.

"I'm surprised to see you here. I didn't know that you were an actress. I assumed you might be a waitress!" he chuckled.

I furrowed my brows and pinched his wrist.

"Ouch!" he exclaimed.

"I'm also surprised. I didn't expect you to be an actor," I said.

"We meet again. That's fucking good!"

I was at the brink of blushing. But I pretended like I wasn't affected.

"How is it good?"

"You will be the person I will be teasing all day"

"Ah! Why?"

"It would be fun! I always have someone I tease in every gathering I go to"

I shrugged. Kate came between us and wrapped her hand around him. "Darling, how are you?"

"I'm cool. Why are you asking?" he asked, lifting a brow as he tilted his head to a side.

"Come on, darling! Can't I ask?"

"But we've met this morning!"

She rolled her eyes. "I just want to ensure my boyfriend..." she narrowed her eyes at me. "Is doing well".

I didn't back down. Instead I glared at her too.

The director told everyone to begin to learn their lines and study the manuscript. We all left the hall and went our separate ways. The rich went to their five-star hotel while the average individuals and I went to the hotel appointed to us.

I know that Kate said that Freddy has lost his memories but I will still try my luck.

I made my way to Freddy and tapped his shoulder.

"Do you remember your highschool in Nigeria?" I asked.

"Nigeria? No, I studied abroad!"

"No! You were in Nigeria. Do you remember me?"

"You? Am I suppose to?"

"Yes, I'm Naomi! You used to call me Cupcake!"

"I don't understand what you are talking about. Maybe you are mistaken"

"Mistaken? I'm sure it is you"

"But I don't know you!" he yelled and rubbed his forehead. "Sorry! Someone just spoiled my mood now".

"Give me some time. You will remember me"

"Sorry, woman but that's enough. I need to go"

"Please wait"

"But you are in my way!"

"Your way?"

"Yeah! To the sexy woman behind you," he smirked.

I froze and watched him leave. He strode to the pretty lady behind me and my heart squeezed.

Turns out the pretty lady behind me was Kate and he was angry with her. Didn't expect that.

I decided to eavesdrop and slowly passed their side.

"Freddy, there are a lot of sexy women here. Promise me you won't leave me"

"I have promised you already. What else do you want from me?"

Kate glanced at me and glared. "Stay away from her!" she said, pointing at me.
