{Mastermind Hajime AU}
{Happens at chapter three and after four}

{Hajime POV}

I was at my cottage and I heard an knock, I went towards my door and it was my king Gundham, even tho he might betray me like every Ultimate would once they know I'm Ultimateless, I'll love him until then, "Could I come inside my prince?" He asked, "Yes you could Gundham." I said, he came inside and closed the door behind him, "I have to tell you something." He said looking down, "Yes my king?" I asked, "I- I'm having terrors in the dream realm." He said, 'He's probably talking about nightmares.' I thought, "It's okay Gundham, you could sleep with me if that would make you feel better." I said, he nodded and he headed to my bed.

I locked the door so no one could break in and harm him, I took off my shirt so I could go to bed, his face immediately redden, "M- my prince?!" He said covering his face with his hands, "Oh yeah, I sleep more comfortably without an shirt, I could place on some pajamas if that would make you comfortable sleeping with mean." I said, "N- no it's fine my prince, I slumber the same way as you do." He said, he took off his shirt and jacket but left his scarf on, I laid down next to him, and he placed an arm around me leaving it near my chest, he wrapped his scarf around our necks, I pulled the covers over us both and we both fell asleep cuddling.

{Timeskipy to the fourth murder}

{Still his POV}

I was watching over the cameras but I saw a sight that I didn't want to see.. my king killed the robot guy.. 'No... my sweet king Gundham... he couldn't of murder Nekomaru, he's the only person that defended me when Nagito accused me of being the mastermind.' I thought to myself, I quickly realized that he was coming to my dorm room, I quickly exited the mastermind's room and I entered my pretend bedroom.

I heard an knock and I head over to the door, "My prince, could I perhaps spend my slumber with you  as I'm having troubles in the dream realm again." He half lied, I agreed and I let him in, he laid down on my bed and took off his shirt, I did the same and I laid down near him and he cuddled up against me, I pulled the covers of us both, 'I should enjoy this while he still loves me.' I thought to myself, I somehow was able to fall asleep.

{Timeskipy to the end of the trial}

{Gundham POV}

My prince has been quiet since the trial began.. I guess the white hair mortal noticed it as well.. "Hm? Hajime, you're awfully quiet. You usually would talk more to find the culprit. Perhaps.. you already know who it is." The white hair fiend said, my prince froze up, "W- what n- no?! I don't know who's the culprit! You can't go say stuff like that!" My prince retorted back, 'Does he know?' I thought to myself, "You know it's Gundham, Hajime.. oh wait... isn't that your boyfriend?!" The white hair fiend said, "Wh- what?! It doesn't matter if we're dating or not, my king Gundham didn't do the murder, I should know since he slept with me!" My prince said, "My prince.. it's okay, you don't have to sacrifice your life for me, I'll be fine." I said to comfort him.

This however.. did little effort.. "No! Gundham, don't listen to him, how do we not know that he's the culprit since he admitted doing the Final dead room!" My prince said, still in denial "My prince please forgive me but I'm the one who did it." I said, he looked like he was about to cry until he finally did once everyone voted, he reluctantly voted for me, he ran up to me and he pulled me into an hug. I hugged back and he was sobbing onto me, I rubbed his back and everyone but the white hair fiend looked at him with pity.

My four dark devas of destruction went onto my prince and they nuzzled their faces against his face to comfort him, he then reluctantly let go of me, I wrapped my scarf around his neck and I kissed him for the last time. I then hear the chain and then I was dragged off into my execution.

{Kazuichi POV}

My soul friend Hajime was sobbing throughout the execution, Fuyuhiko was comforting him but Hajime kept on sobbing. After it, Hajime was the last one to leave, Akane and Fuyuhiko walked him to his cottage.

{Timeskipy}

{Gundham POV}

Everything hurts but it was faded, I could tell that the unknown mortal bandaged me up, I opened up my eyes and I looked towards the side, I saw my prince sleeping soundly near me, his eyes were red and puffy because of all the crying that he did earlier, he was wearing some pajama top, and my scarf still around him, I pulled him more closer towards me, it didn't really hurt moving. I thought of ideas on why I'm still alive, '.... As much as I hate to think this but... is my prince Hajime the mastermind..? It would explain why I'm still alive and why he's here but what's his reason for starting up this killing game?' I thought to myself.

My prince slowly started to wake up, "Oh you're awake, that's good." My prince said casually although a bit sleepy, "My prince, what's your reasoning?" I asked, "Every Ultimate besides you and Chiaki are scum." He said bitterly, "My prince, could you perhaps explain what you mean?" I asked, "Everyone wanted me when they thought when I had an talent but once Nagito accused me of being the mastermind which is true everyone but you and mostly likely Chiaki believed him because he knows his Ultimate and I do not." He said getting a bit angry, while tightening up his grip on me, it slightly hurt, I couldn't tell if he was getting angry at me or he's getting angry when explaining it.

He probably realized that he was hurting me a bit and he loosened up his grip on me, "I'm sorry if I hurt you, my king. I just.. so mad that they believed him only because he remembers his Ultimate." He said, he kinda looked like he was about to cry, he rested his head against my chest, "My prince I forgive you for your actions, I should be the one to apologize since I brought up things that make you riled up." I said, I gave him a soft smile, he cuddled up against me and we both fell into our peaceful slumber.

{Timeskipy}

{Hajime POV}

I woke up and I got out of bed, my king Gundham woke up due to the noise, he sat up, his hair was messy and down and his makeup was a bit smudged, "Hm? Where are you doing Hajime?" He asked, "I still have to meet up with everyone." I said, "Why? They treated you like an traitor and if you don't show up they'll think that you're grieving me." He said, "Yeah you're right... but I should at least be in my cottage in case they decide to break in to drag me out." I said, "...Fine, but after the day is over, you have to be with me for the rest of the night." He said, "I will Gundham, I love you." I said walking up to him and kissed his temple.

He held onto my cheek and stroked it, "Now, I'll have to go now, I'll be back soon, I'll have Monokuma take care of you when I'm out." I said, I then left the mastermind's room and into my cottage, I heard several knocks on the door, I opened up and Kazuichi was there, "Hey there... How are you holding up?" He asked, "Good I guess?" I said, he patted my shoulder, "Yeah, that's good I guess after what happened yesterday." He said, we walked inside the restaurant and Nagito was ranting about something..

Probably about hope and how this is a stepping stone or something like that.. "Ah! Everyone is here now, well I placed bombs around the island." He said laughing, everyone panicked and they started searching for the bombs, I was given the first island. I search everyone's cottage, and everything on the first island, I found nothing.

{Gundham POV}

My prince was asleep holding onto me, I could tell that he was probably having an nightmare, I brought him on top of me and I rubbed his back, "Shh.. Shh, I'm here my beloved prince." I whispered softly into his ear, he seemed to calm down, and he nuzzled his face onto my chest, I smiled softly at this, I knew that he was about to be revealed as the mastermind, I want to protect him from their opinions about him.

My prince then woke up due to the announcement, he got up and he got dressed, I got dressed and I followed him to where he'll be show to the mastermind. I held him close towards my body, I kept my gaze on him, once everything was prepared we were shown.

{Kazuichi POV}

Everyone was in shock, Hajime was one of the mastermind, he was sitting on Gundham's lap but it was kinda difficult to tell who's the original mastermind, "My prince, let me deal with them to make you happy." Gundham said, "Okay, if you insist my king." Hajime said, Gundham then kissed his cheek, "Now rest my prince." He said, "Okay.." Hajime said, he then rested his head on Gundham's shoulder, after bit he fell asleep, "Since now that my prince is sleeping, I'll kindly ask everyone to leave and never come back." He demanded, it frightened everyone a bit..

And everyone didn't know how to respond, "U- um, who's the real mastermind?" Fuyuhiko asked, "It doesn't matter, as long as me and my prince are together, I'll always protect him." He said, "Tch, if you're the original mastermind then give us back Hajime." Fuyuhiko demanded, "Why would I give up my beloved prince? He loves me and I love him." Gundham said, Kyoko said that we'll save Hajime once we're out of here, and they're going to try and fix Gundham again..

We all left and I awoke in the pod, I left and I saw Peko awake, I ran over to her and I hugged her. I told everyone that wasn't there what happened, "So we need to find a way to save Hajime.. and to also fix Gundham because.. I know that before Gundham did this to Hajime, he loves Gundham deeply.." I said, we all then thought of an plan.
