(Gundham POV)

I know that I'm been feeling a emotion called 'loneliness', I need to bring someone here do they'll be able to fill up that hole, I need to make sure that they're a kind and caring mortal. I got out of my bed and I made a wound on myself on the chest and arm, I teleported outside in the woods and I transformed into a wolf, I smelt the air and I smelt the intoxicating smell of a mortal's blood.

I went towards it and when I was near the person, I pretended to limp towards them, he looked at me gently with his sapphire olive green eyes, he took out some bandages "Okay.. good boy, come here." He said slowly and gently, I slowly went towards him.

He wrapped the bandages around my wounds, "There, isn't that better..? You might have to stay a bit, here's some food." He said, he grabbed some meat and placed it down near me, he began to eat his own meal, I ate the food that was given to me and it was good.

He gently picked me up gently and made sure that I was held correctly and took me over to his tent, "Okay you might have to stay with me buddy.. since you're injured and I might need to care for you again.." He said softly, he got in and zipped up the tent, he got underneath the sleeping blanket, he cradled me whilst he slept, I transformed myself back and I held him, I slowly fell asleep by accident.

(Hajime POV)

I woke up due to something ice cold around me, I saw a unknown male there, he had black hair with grey streaks in it, he had me in a cradle like hold, he was also asleep, he was lightly snoring, I saw that he had fangs.

Panic slowly starts to fill me, why is he here..? What is he going to do with me? He slowly started to wake up, he looked at me with gentle eyes, he rubbed my back, he pulled me close to him, "Shh.. everything is going to be okay, just relax." He whispered softly into my ear, I couldn't help but feel safe in his arms.

I do wonder what happened to the wolf that came, I then noticed bandages on his chest and arm where the wounds on the animal were, he unzipped the tent and picked me up gently, "Just rest, it won't be a while but I think you should still rest." He said, after he walked a bit, I fell asleep in his arms.

(Gundham POV)

After the kind mortal fell asleep, I teleported back into my room, I do wonder how mortals sleep, all I have is my bed but it wasn't like the one that the kind mortal has.. I then remembered the room with the bed, I teleported in there and I pulled the covers over, I placed him on the bed and I placed the covers on top of him.

I wrote a note for him and then I went back into my room, I go to my bed and I laid down in it. I closed the lid and I fell asleep shortly later. I woke up shortly later to the mortal opening up the lid, "Mh..? What is it that you need kind mortal?" I asked, "What is your name?" He asked, "My name is Gundham Tanaka or better what you mortals call me 'the prince of darkness' or 'the vampire king'." I said.

He stayed silent for a bit, "My name is Hajime Hinata, could I ask why I'm here?" He said, "I've been experiencing a emotion that you mortals called 'loneliness' and I want someone to fill that hole and I could care for them, and you're that mortal." I said, "Um.. Thank you? I'll help you, just please let me go or at least let me see my friends and family." He said.

I felt bad for the poor thing for thinking that I'll just keep him locked up, "I couldn't isolate you from your beloved ones as I know how it feels to feel the emotion 'loneliness' and I don't wish it upon you." I said, he smiled and hugged me, "Is that all?" I asked, "No.. I'm kinda scared to sleep alone in the dark, could I perhaps sleep with you?" He asked, "Of course, I don't wish for you to feel scared in here, I want you to feel safe and protected..." I said, I brought him into my arms, he held onto me, "Do you mind having the lid open it or no?" He asked, "No I don't, I'll go grab a blanket for us, I'll be right back." I said.

He got off me, and I went into the bedroom, I grabbed the blanket from the bedding and I came back, he laid back down on top of me, I wrapped the blanket around us and I gently rocked him, and he fell into his slumber shortly after, he had a peaceful look on his face whilst he's in his slumber, he held onto me and he was snoring lightly.

(Hajime POV)

I woke up and I was on top of Gundham, he held me gently, he gently kissed my forehead, and then he gently rocked me "Shh.. it'll be okay Hajime, I'm here with you, and I promise I'll also protect you." He muttered in his sleep, he held me tighter and then he smiled slightly, he slowly started to wake up "Mh..? Oh are the skies clear today?" He asked, I got off of him and I checked outside, the sun was out, "Um, the sun is out?" I said, "Are the sayings about vampires not being able to go into the sun true?" I asked, "No most are completely fairy tales, I shall take you back to your domain and grab your stuff and moved then into here." He said.

He got out of his coffin and he took me back to my house, I opened up the door and my doggie named Amai ran towards me and wagged his tail, his front legs were on my legs, he sticked out his tongue and panted, I kneeled down and I petted him all over, "Aww, I love you too my baby, I'm sorry that I was gone." I said, he then saw Gundham and growled and barked a bit.

I petted him more "Noo baby, that's Gundham, he's my friend." I said gently to my fur baby, "It's okay mortal Hajime, I do not blame your kin for being protective of the person who cared for him throughout his life." Gundham said.

I smiled softly at him "Thank you for being not being mad, he could get protective at times and I appreciate it sometimes because it shows that animals do in fact feel emotions towards the people they love." I said, Gundham held me and kissed my cheek, he helped me move everything into his... palace?! 'How did I never noticed this?' I asked myself, my baby Amai followed us inside the palace.

He ran around the living room once we got in, "I'll go and prepare more space in the room where the canine family sleeps." Gundham said, "Thank you Gundham, but where should I placed my stuff so I could help?" I asked, "Inside my lair where you slept last night." Gundham said.

I went to his room, and I placed it next to his coffin, I went back to the down floor and I saw that Gundham was finished, "Alrighty mortal Hajime, let's and prepare the lair for us." Gundham said, he took my hand and we both went onto his room, he took out my stuff and placed my clothing into a spot of his closet, and then he removed some off my nighttime clothing and placed it in a drawer.

He then pulled out my bear, "P- Please be careful with that. It's very important to me." I said, "Okay I will, but may I ask how does it have a close bond with you?" He asked, "I've always carried that stuffed bear that one of my friends gave me when we're kids." I said, he nodded and gave it to me, he then continued to take everything out of my bag.

Shortly later he had set up everything that was in my bag in the room. I was in awestruck, he set up the room very amazing, "I only wish for you to feel safe in here, so I thought that I'd your things that were in your lair would bring you comfort." He said, "Thank you Gundham." I said, I then hugged him, he slowly brought his arms around me, "You're... welcome." Gundham said, he rested his head on my shoulder.

(Gundham POV)

The mortal Hajime is truly kind, we both eventually let go of each other and I then saw that it was nighttime, I was also thirsty... "Something wrong Gundham?" The kind mortal asked, "I'm quite thirsty right now, but I don't want to drink from you since you've been nothing but kind towards me and I don't want to frightened you." I said, he stayed silent for a bit then move his shirt collar, exposing his neck.

I was confused, "Mortal Hajime? What are you-" He interrupted me by saying "You're thirsty right? You set up my things for me and you took in my baby Amai with your other animals." He said, "Okay, but tell me if I need to stop." I said, I don't want to drink too much than he's comfortable with... I move over to him, I held him protectively, I kissed his nose, I let out a small hiss as I opened my mouth and I gently bit down on him.

He let out a small yelp, I continued to drink from him, his blood was intoxicating and delicious, I then finished and then the kind mortal smiled, "Now, don't you feel better?" He asked, "Mh.. I do, thank you mortal Hajime. I greatly appreciate it." I said, "You're welcome, let's go feed the fur babies then I'll go to bed." Mortal Hajime said, I nodded and we went downstairs and we feed the 'fur babies' 'Is that what mortals call their animals?' I thought to myself.

(Hajime POV)

After we feed Gundham's and my fur babies, we both went upstairs and I changed into pajamas, I looked into the coffin and I saw that it became bigger? How is that possible? I opened up the lid and I saw my bear and a blanket with a pillow on the new extended side and there was now cushion in it, I felt it and it was soft.

I guess Gundham saw my looking "I do deeply apologize for not warning you beforehand but I'm able to make anything bigger, and I grabbed some things so I could protect you more easily." Gundham said, "It's okay but could I know what is a myth about vampires?" I asked "Of course since we are what you mortals call 'friends' I'll tell you, we're able to go into the sun but it'll make us cranky and agitated, some do like the day but we prefer night since it's dark and we feel more safe." Gundham said, I smiled at him, I'm glad that he trusts me so much.

He has an unreadable look on his face, "Let us now go to bed my dear friend Hajime." Gundham said, he gently took my hand and placed me on the side where my bear was and he placed the covers over me, "Would you feel safe if I stay with you through your slumber and I close the lid?" He asked, "Sure I'll be fine, you could close it." I said, he got in with me and then he closed the lid.

He wrapped an arm around me, it felt ice cold, but it was lessened due to the very warm blanket. He kissed my cheek again, "Is that what you do to your mortal friends to show appreciation?" He asked, "Some do but some don't, it's usually done with romantic partners." I said, "Oh.. I deeply apologize if I made you upset, I only wish for you to feel safe here." Gundham, I held his arm there with my other hand, "It's okay, I'm okay with it, well goodnight." I said, I shortly fell asleep later.

(Gundham POV)

I looked at the mortal Hajime's face, I had a better look at him in a new light, he has beautiful freckles with brunette hair and soft skin, his eyelashes laid on his squishy soft cheeks, I smiled at him and I too fell into my slumber shortly later.

I woke up and I pushed the lid open, I tried to get up my my arm stopped me, I turned to the mortal Hajime, he held my arm along with hiss bear, he nuzzled his head against my arm, I smiled softly at the adorableness of his face.

He slowly woke up and he let go of my arm, we both got up and got dressed, "What do you wish to do mortal Hajime?" I asked him, "Could we both see my friends?" He asked "Of course, I do wish to see my dear friend's other comrades." I said, he took my hand and we both head downstairs "Let's first feed the fur babies then we could visit them." Mortal Hajime said, I feed what he called 'fur babies' then we both left.

It was a amazing clear skies, I brought out an umbrella since I prefer darkness, the mortal Hajime stood next to me as we walked over to his friends house, he ranged the doorbell then a short blonde hair make answers "Oh hey Haji-" He stopped himself and pulled mortal Hajime behind him "Tch.. of course you're going to-" He was interrupted again but by mortal Hajime saying "Fuyu no, he's my friend.", the now named mortal 'Fuyu' stayed silent for a bit.

He gave mortal Hajime back, "Hey man, I wanna say that I'm sorry, I'm just worried about Hajime sometimes because he believes that everyone could become a good person and he can be very dense at times." 'Fuyu' said, "I accept your apology, I know the feeling of protectiveness of the mortal Hajime." I said, we visited his other friends then we came back to our palace.

I cooked him an amazing meal that must be perfect for him, since it's mortal Hajime we're talking about, I gave it to him and he thanked me, "I'm glad that you enjoy it, I shall sit with you as you eat your feast." I said, "Okay, but are you thirsty?" He asked, "Kinda but I could go out and find someone else since I want you to regain all the blood you lost." I said, he smiled then nodded.

(Hajime POV)

After I finished my meal, Gundham took the dish, and placed it in the sink, it was noon about now, "What do you want to do? It's noon right now." I asked, "We could do whatever you wish my beloved friend." Gundham said, "Perhaps we take the fur babies out on a walk?" I said, Gundham agreed and we took his and my fur babies out.

We head outside and he let them go "Mh..? Do your animals come back when you do that?" I asked, "They do, my other animals live outside and have a very fond bond with them." Gundham said, "Oh that's nice, I keep Amai on a leash because he loves to run up to other people and animals." I said, "You made a strong pact with the tribe that you have captured, your beast is easy able to sense danger around it." Gundham said, "Okay thank you." I said, Gundham smiled softly at me.

He look quite adorable smiling like that, I hope I see more of it, I kneeled down and I got the leash out and I attached it to the collar, he held my hand, Amai began to drag me towards where Gundham's animals wandered, "Perhaps you could let go of the leash of the canine?" Gundham said, "Yeah, I'll try but could you have one of your animals bring him back?" I asked, "Of course, I would never prevent you from keeping your pact with the tribe that you have made." Gundham said, I let the leash off and Amai ran off towards where his animals were.

(Gundham POV)

I don't want to bring any negative emotions to the kind mortal Hajime, he's too kind to deserve any kind having any negative emotions. I could now tell that the mortal Hajime's animal isn't a normal animal, he's more like my canine animals, he's an vamicanine. I should tell the mortal Hajime because he looks like he's unaware of it.

I walked up to him as he sat waiting for his animal, "Mortal Hajime, do you perhaps know of your Amai's abilities?" I asked him, "Huh..? What is the 'abilities' you're talking about? Are you talking about tricks?" He asked, "No, I mean that your 'fur baby' isn't the normal canine that you particularly know." I said, "Huh? Is he a different type of secret breed or something?" He asked, well he's kinda correct.

I tried to think of a way to say it, "You're kinda correct, he is a different breed, he's a vamicanine." I said, "Oh..? What is that? Is it like a type of vampire animal?" He asked, "Yes you are correct. He'll never really die." I said, "Oh.. will you care for him when I do pass..?" He asked, "Of course, it'll bring you joy so I'll gladly do it." I said, he smiled gently at me... I'll gravely miss those smiles...

I pulled him into a hug, it felt very nice. All the animals then came back and we placed them in their respective lairs.

(Hajime POV)

Gundham pulled me back into our? bedroom, he placed me on my side of the coffin bed, "You need as much rest as possible to recover the blood that you lost, so please rest." Gundham said, I nodded and he gave me my bear. He pulled the covers over me and he gently sang? into my ear, I shortly fell asleep after.

I woke up and everything was dark, I felt ice cold arm around me, "You have awaken from your slumber... you recovered the blood that you lost." Gundham said, "That's good.. Have you gotten to drink anything yet?" I asked, "No, I was preoccupied making sure you'll be safe." Gundham said, "Oh.. is it nighttime right now?" I asked, "Yes, I'll go out and find something to drink." Gundham said, "No.. You could still drink from me." I said, "I could..? I thank you greatly." Gundham said, I felt a shift on the coffin.

I felt coldness on my neck, "Shh.. it'll hurt for a bit, but I promise I'll make it up to you." Gundham said, he let out as small hiss and gently bit down as much as he could, I held onto him, he gently rocked me, he then pulled his fangs out, "I greatly thank you my dear friend, I do hope you'll stay with me until your mortal days are up." Gundham said quietly, I felt bad for Gundham...

I hope when I do pass, he'll be all alone... I do wonder if the turning people into vampires are true. I'll ask tomorrow, he gently sang to me again and I fell back to sleep.

I woke up and the lid was opened, I was in the middle of the coffin, I sat up and I looked towards the side, there was a note, 'I had some business to attend to, I do greatly apologize for not being there but I left my trusted devas with you and my other ferocious beasts.' It read.

I felt happy and sad, I was sad that he left and I don't know when he'll come back but I was happy that he left a note and he left his trusted animals with me. I think I've fallen in love with him, he's so sweet and kind. The door then opened "Oh.. how long have you been awake? I brought your mortal friends to bring you more comfort." Gundham said, "Oh thank you Gundham." I said, "You're welcome, I suggest that they leave before the darkness has taken over the sky." Gundham said then he left.

Fuyuhiko, Akane, and lastly Mikan entered the room "H- Hajime are you o-okay? Are you hurt anywhere? D- Do you want me to change the b- bandages around your n- neck for you?" Mikan asked, "No, I'm fine, has Gundham changed his?" I asked, "F- from the looks of it. Y- yes he did." Mikan said, "Thank you Mikan." I said, "Y- you're welcome Hajime, I- I hope you're fine now." She said, "I am." I said, "That's good cousin, you know how much we should be sticking together." Akane said, "Yeah.. but at least-" Fuyuhuko interrupted me "You still shouldn't have risk your life trying to save us. You almost died a few times.", "I'm sorry.." I said, "It's okay, you were only trying to defend us." Akane said, I slightly smiled at them.

We talked all day then it began to become dark, Gundham then came in the room, "I suggest that you leave since the sky has darkened, and it'll become dark soon." Gundham said, "Oh okay, goodbye Hajime. We'll see you soon." Fuyuhiko said, "Okay, goodbye guys." I said, Mikan and Akane said goodbye then they all left.

Gundham then came into the bed/coffin, "Gundham, I have a question yo ask." I said, "Mh? What is it mortal Hajime?" He asked, "Are vampires able to turn people into vampires?" I asked, "Well yes of course, why do you ask mortal Hajime?" He asked, "W- well, I was wondering if you could turn me." I said quietly, I buried my face into his chest.

Everything was silent for a bit "Are you sure that you want this..?" He asked, "Yes, you're so kind and I don't want you to be sad, and I love you." I said, "May I ask what is 'love'?" He asked, "Love is romantic feelings towards someone as in you want to date them. It could also be platonic too, you could love your friends but don't want to date them, you could also love your family." I said, "Oh.. I thank you greatly. I think I'm also infected with the disease called 'love too with you." He said, "So.. we're dating now?" I asked, "Yes you could say that." Gundham said, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

I rested my hands on his chest, "So are you still sure of me turning you?" He asked, "Yes, I'm sure." I said, "Okay then.." Gundham said, he gently placed me in the middle, and he laid on top of me, he moved my shirt collar and let out a small hiss as he opened up his mouth and he gently bit down. This time it felt different, I felt something entered inside, he then pulled off his fangs.

He caressed my cheek, "Shh.. just rest for now, I'll go grab you something to drink." He said, I nodded and I fell asleep.

(Gundham POV)

I looked at my prince. He looks so adorable, I kissed his cheek then I went out to grab something to drink for my beloved.

I found the person and I brought him into where my prince was, my prince slowly started to wake up "Hm..? Gundham you're back?" He asked, "Yes my beloved and I brought you your first meal." I said, I held the person so my prince could drink.

My prince got off the bed and he gently bit down on the person, he drank until he was done, I brought the person towards civilization and then I left back towards my prince, he was sitting on our bed, "Are you guys able to shapeshift?" He asked, "Yes my prince, I will teach you how to transform." I said, "Okay, so how do you do it?" I asked, "Okay, think of yourself as a bat, it also works with other animals to." I said, "Like this." I said, I transformed into a bat, he looked at me awestruck, "Oh wow. That's cool." He said, "Now you try." I said, "Okay." He said, he tried it for a bit before he did it, "Yay! Look Gundham I did it!" He said happily, I smiled softly at him.

He took his small bat fingers around mine, "C'mon, let's fly!" He said, "Okay my prince of vampires." I said, we both went out and we flew around, he finally felt the clouds. He looked so happy "Gundham! The clouds are so fluffy, how long as this been a thing!" He said, "They are indeed fluffy my dear prince. We could explore more tomorrow night since it's almost daylight and we can't be seen." I said, he nodded and we both flew back to our palace.

We both transformed back, "Should we sleep throughout the day so you could explore more earlier?" I asked, "Yeah that'll be good." My prince said, we both got in our bed, "My prince, do you think you could sleep with the lid down?" I asked, "Yes I could, thank you for asking my beloved." My prince said, he kissed my cheek and he went on his side, "Do you think you could enlarge the pillow and blanket so we both could use it?" My prince asked, "Yes I could my prince, I'll do it right now." I said, I grabbed the pillow and blanket, and I grabbed my spell book, I flipped to the right page in the book.

I then began to enchant the enlargement spell, a faint purple light spread across me, and I felt my prince's things enlarged, then I stopped, I placed the pillow in the middle and it fit, my prince laid down on one side and I laid down on the other, I levitated the blanket over us then closed the lid, my prince held onto his bear, I pulled him into a tight hug.

I kissed his nose, "Is there anything else about vampires?" He asked, "Yes, male vampires are capable of carrying a kin." I said, "Oh that's good." He said, "Why do you ask?" I asked, "I.. I want my own blood related children or we could adopt one if you don't want to have a carnal connection." My prince said, "No. I do wish to have a carnal connection with you my prince." I said, "Okay. How do you want to do it?" He asked, "I want you to be the one on me." I said, his face redden "A- ah, okay do you want me to go and grab things for you?" He asked, "Mh.. I would like that. They are in the domain next to this one." I said, he nodded and left.

(Hajime POV)

I went and grabbed the lube, I came back and Gundham was waiting for me, "Do you want me to undress myself or do you want to?" He asked, "You could do it, and once you're ready, just enter inside my prince." Gundham said, "Okay I will." I said, I got on top of him, I took off his scarf and coat, I kissed him and I grabbed the hem of his shirt and I took it off, I removed my shirt and tie.

I kissed his body, "You're so beautiful." I said, he whimpered a bit, the time continued into a blissful time, after I left to take a bath, while he changed the cushion and I came back after I was done.

I got back into the bed with him and he closed the lid, I pulled the covers over us and we both cuddled until we fell asleep.

(A few years later)

(Gundham POV)

My king has some business with my upper comrades, I was caring for our kin, "Where's papa?" Aka asked, "He had some business that was important and he'll be back soon." I said, "Okay! Could we all go out flying once he gets back?" He asked, "Papa might be tired so he'll rest for a bit but we both could go out in a fly once he gets back." I said, "Okay! Imma take a nap." He said then he went up towards his domain.

My king then returned back, he kissed me "I'm sorry that I was gone my beloved, perhaps after I rest a bit we could all go out on a nighttime fly?" My king said, "Yes of course, our kin and I were planning on doing that. Enjoy your rest my king." I said kissing his forehead, "Thank you.. I love you." My king said then heading to bed in our domain.

After three hours passed when he said that he was going into his slumber, my king came back out "Are you and Aka ready?" He asked, "Yes papa." "Yes my king." We both said in unison, "Okay! Let's go." He said transforming into a bat, me and our kin did the same, we all went out and our kin went towards the waters.

He touched the cold water with his small bat fingers, we took him up into the sky to feel the clouds. After we saw everything, we head back to our palace, we all transformed back and my king held our kin in his arms "Mh.. sleepy papa.." He mumbled, my king took him into his domain and sang him to sleep after my king helped him change into his nightly clothes.

My king and I went to our domain and we both changed into our nightly clothes and we got into bed, I pulled the lid and my king pulled the covers over us and we both cuddled until we both drifted off into sleep.
