(An Mastermind Hajime AU)
(Kinda my AU of how Gundham acts towards Hajime)
(Takes place at Chapter four and the fifth trial)
(Hajime has an talent, it is Ultimate Assistant)

(Hajime POV)

I hate everyone here except for a few people, everyone just likes me because of my talent, that is Ultimate Assistant. Gundham is the worst of them all, always calling everyone "mortal" or "fiend" but me, I don't understand him at all and he always wants to hang out with me.  He'll probably collapse soon enough without food and water. I decided that I would head to his dorm room, because he had asked me to come over and I was curious about what he wants.

(Gundham POV)

Hajime is coming over soon. I may have developed feelings for him when I hanged out with him and when I first saw him. He's the only person that I trust in this killing game, everyone was either too aggressive or too overly confident in defending themselves. Hajime was not like that and he was also the only person that accepted to hang out with me and I kinda got attached to him fast. I hear the knock on the door and I opened it to see Hajime "You can come in my singularity." I said to him as I leave the door open "Sooo what did you what from me?" Hajime asked "I have something to confess." I said covering my face with my scarf "What is it Gundham. You can tell me anything." He said to me "Hajime.. I..  I love you." I said fearing that he might reject me.

(Hajime POV)

He... loves me...? No he's probably just lying to get my trust, I might as well just accept it until he gets killed or executed or I'm revealed to be the mastermind. "I love you too Gundham." I say as I kissed him on the lips, he kissed me back happily, we were like that for a while until we had to stop for air. I gave him one of my fake smiles and I left his room and I went to the elevator and I went back to my dorm.

(Timeskip)

(Still his POV)

I wake up to Monokuma saying that there was an murder and I went to the masterminds room as the room I was actually staying in and I check the security footage, and I saw Gundham fighting Mekomaru and he won then he tied him up to a door and left him hanging. I smirked and drooled at the despair on Mekomaru's robot face as he struggled to get free, he fell with the door handle and fell to his death, I was satisfied with what Gundham did and then I got Monokuma to prepare food for everyone. I then left the masterminds room to the one I was staying and I went to grab Sonia and Akane then we went to the crime scene and the body discovery announcement went off.

(Timeskip to the discussion of the time of the murder)

(Gundham POV)

My singularity is slowly figuring out about the crime scene took place and the time of the murder. "The clock in Mekomaru's body is an radio clock meaning that it shows the correct time. The killer must've pushed both the clocks in Strawberry and Grape Hall two hours back." He said trying to figure out how the murder happen. "So the murder happened at 7:30 AM." He said "I might know who the murder is." The crazy mortal said "Yo- you do that's nice." My singularity said surprised 'Does he know that I'm the culprit' I thought as the mortal said "The culprit is Gundham.". Everyone looked at him in surprise "No that's wrong." My singularity said trying to defend me. Everyone didn't listen to him as they voted for me "Four for four. Wow you guys got four in a row. I'm impressed." The Bear said laughing.

(Hajime POV)

I went up to him and pulled him close to me with my head on his chest and sobbing, his arms wrapped around my torso and pulled me closer. 'Why am I sobbing? I supposed to hate him.' I thought angrily to myself, I gave a glare to Monokuma and he understand what my glare meant. I pretended to beg for Gundham to live fully knowing that I have the power to prevent it from happening, "You know something Hajime. You're acting like someone I know from the last killing game. His best friend was the murder and was executed for his heinous crime, he became the next victim." Monokuma said.

(Timeskip to after a few days after Gundham's execution)

(Gundham POV)

For some reason the execution didn't hurt as much, it still hurt though but not as much as the other three executions. I woke up completely bandage 'Aren't I supposed to be dead?' I questioned myself completely confused, I looked down to see my singularity on me. His head was on my chest and I can tell that he was sobbing on it, I can hear faint apologies from him say stuff like "I'm sorry Gundham." or "Please wake up, I'm sorry." or both.

His body was trembling and his grip tightened up a bit around my stomach, "Haj...ime...?" I said my voice still sore from the sand and dehydration. "Gundham.. you're alive, I'm so sorry that I made you go through that. I just had to make it more believable." He said lifting his head up a little bit so I could see his eyes, tears were streaming down them.

I now notice that his left eye was now red like Monokuma, I still gave him a soft smile despite knowing that he was the mastermind behind all of this. I couldn't hate him at all, I could understand his reasoning for all of this. I became the other mastermind by my own choice we had a few outfit changes, I got my memories back thanks to the help of my singularity.

I didn't pity the others because everyone except for Fuyuhiko, Peko, Teruteru, Hiyoko, and Sagishi was bullying him. Hiyoko and Fuyuhiko teased him a bit but it was light hearted and Peko and Sagishi protected him when things got physical and Teruteru and I comforted him when he needed it. I started to hate everyone with a burning passion and I hugged my singularity pulling him close to me, "Is it just us or are there others?" I asked him "It's just us, my love." He said kissing me.

(Hajime POV)

My lips parted from his, I wanted to continue but we have to pull away for air. I was wrong about Gundham at first.. he does care about me and he has proved that because he still accepted me after what I did to him. He kissed the top of my head and rested his chin on my head, "I already faked my death and frame Chiaki, she had already killed Nagito." I said to him smirking a bit, "Good, I don't want them to think that you are the mastermind." He said pulling me closer to him, I kissed him again and he kissed back.

We then went back onto the bed and I laid on him cuddling his arm falling asleep on him. Chiaki was executed for killing Nagito and 'me', during the last trial we were to be revealed to be the masterminds. Everyone was panicking because they thought that we were dead, "You want to know why I was the original mastermind?" I said angrily "It was because of you fuckers." I said with a grin "Everyone treated me horribly because of my talent." I said with my beloved Gundham pulling me closer to his body while glaring at almost everyone.

I hate them all, "The only people who treated me with kindness were Fuyu, Hiyoko, Teruteru, Sagishi, Peko, anddd my beloved Gundham." I said with a crazed smirk "Then why did you executed Teruteru and Peko?" Kazuichi said "I didn't they're still alive but not the masterminds." I said with Gundham letting me go, "Yo- you're serious?" Fuyuhiko said "Yep, I'm serious Fuyu." I said as I pushed the button executing everyone but Fuyuhiko, "Since you were kind to me and didn't bullied me as much as the others, I let you live." I said to him while leaving with my love following close behind.

(Fuyuhiko POV)

I wasn't executed because I was kind to him, Peko came to see me and she said that we couldn't leave while Hajime and Gundham are here. I can't really tell if Haiime is manipulating everyone or not
