(Inspired by a another game that I love, if you know this game, you're my best friend)

(Hajime still went through the killing game but he wasn't a remnant of despair and Gundham wasn't apart of the game)

(What I mean for the fake puppy death is that it is in a movie, you either get uncomfortable or cry which I did while writing it)

(Hajime POV)

I walked inside a dorm shaped room, there was portals that are locked, there was a lady named Senzai-tekina Kitsukōyaku, I was very confused, "Oh... another one... get over here and let me check you." She said, I went over to her, "Mh... so many past regrets... so many mistakes.. I know everything inside your head." She said, "I can see that you have potential and I'll help change your fate but you have to suffer a little more to get the chance." She said, really..?

I bowed a bit, "Um... thank you..! I accept your help." I said, "You have to collect eight rings for your wish to come true. There would be monsters chasing you to prevent you to get them." She said,  "Okay.." I said, she opened up one of the portals, and I entered inside, I walked forward and I saw that it was a restaurant, I continued to walk forward until I reached the counter and sirens blared and confetti dropped down onto me then someone popped up.

They had brown hair with a apple green eyes, they had what appears to be burn marks on their hands and face, "Hello you're the millionth customer, my name is Hitogui shefu. Welcome to my little restaurant, let me give you a grande tour of the place as a special treat." They said, I reluctantly followed them to the kitchen, "Now now, have a seat and I'll be right with you." They said, I sat down on one of the chairs, and they later came out with food.

They placed it down in front of me, "It's my specialty, I must prepare you for lord Gundham." They said, 'Who is 'lord Gundham'?' I thought, they then left to do something "I don't think you really want to trust his cooking." Senzai-tekina Kitsukōyaku said, "Okay..?" I said, "Just never mind the food, just collect the soul shards and avoid Gundham." She said, I left silently and I collect the first soul shards, I ran right and I saw a black bunny here.

I was confused for a second before I heard the guy close by. I picked up the bunny and I ran, I ran into a kitchen area and I saw some food there, I grabbed some lettuce and cucumbers slices, I placed the bunny into a kitchen cabinet with the food and I continued my running.

(Gundham POV)

I transformed back into my original form, I know of where the mortal has went, I exit out of the cabinet he placed me in, the chef came in "L- lord Gundham, the boy escape! But don't worry, I'll catch him!" He said, "Good you better fiend or I'll have to do it myself!" I said, he ran off into the opposite direction of where the mortal went, I followed where the mortal has went.

I ran into him and he only had a few more left, "H- Huh? What's another person doing here..?" He asked himself, he grabbed onto my arm and he dragged me to where the other shards are, "Now's not the time, we have to get out of here." He said, he got them after a bit of avoiding the chef, "Sorry for dragging you like that, I didn't know if the chef was close by or not." He apologized, "It is fine but I'm forbidden from leaving." I said, "O- oh, did you somehow loose your life here like everyone else..?" He asked gently, "More or less." I said, he said goodbye and went to the ring altar.

Then the chef came back, the mortal found another part of the realm and he began his search there, he was able to make it out alive thankfully... wait why am I so happy that he was able to escape..? He's going to make me look weak... I can't allow that to happen.. but I don't want to hurt him.. I exited out of the realm into my son's realm.

He was terrorizing the mortals that were here for a while, "Daddy!" He said, he hugged my legs, "Hello Torikku, I have a surprise for you later." I said, "Is it a new friend?" He asked excitedly, "More or less but this mortal treated his child different then these fiends." I said, "Then why is he coming here?" He asked, he tilted his head a bit.

Mhh.. well I need to explain to him about what's happening, "Well because he's unknowingly making me look weak and I thought since he loves kids, he surely listen to you. but if all fails then I'll tell the others about his treatment on their views and he had a son around your age and elementary was his son's favorite place." I said, if the mortal dies stop.. I'll give him a small reward...

Torikku was still excited about his new friend tho.. "I need more information on my new friend." He said, I gave him the tablet that held the mortals information, "O- oh poor my new friend." He said, "Tis this is sad that he lost his child along with his own life." I said, "I shall inform the demonic nurse and doctor about his treatment towards them." I said, "Okay daddy, will you be able to watch me?" He asked, "Yes I will Torikku." I said, I left and I watched over for a bit before he entered.

(Hajime POV)

H- huh..? Why am I here... please don't tell me... "Why are you even here..? I'm able to see ever sin you ever committed and none of it involved children." Senzai-tekina Kitsukōyaku said, "I- I don't know... all I could think of is that my son really loved elementary and this might be some sort of mental torture..?" I said, I walked forward and I saw an entrance.

I entered and it looked like a gymnasium, I saw a big stage and a banner that says 'WELCOME STUDENT' and there were party streamers everywhere and there was colorful streamers throughout the entire room, then a boy appeared.

He stood on top of the stage, "Wowie a new friend! You'll probably spice things up but on another note, daddy told me to tell you to stop what you're doing because you're unknowingly ruining his business." He said, "What business?" I asked, "I dunno, daddy said something about making him look weak or something." He said, "I wouldn't trust him if I was you." Senzai-tekina Kitsukōyaku said, "Is the evil woman with you? Daddy could fix that for you so I could talk to you." He said, "Huh..?" I said, then the same man that I saw the last place.

He looked different this time, he had horns and a tail, "Huh? How..? What? When..?" I asked myself, he then started to mumble words "Oh no Gundham is here, you need to get out-" She was then interrupted by the said Gundham finishing up whatever spell he cast, "There now that the vile woman is gone, we could finally discuss our procedures." He said, he sounded kinda professional...

He looked yo be calmed.. and kinda forgiving, "If you return to me from what you have stolen from me, I'll give you a new life where the car accident never happened but after that your soul is mine." He said, "But what did I steal from you and why do you want my soul?" I asked, "You stole the ring piece that you have with you, and I want your soul so I could build up the Tanaka empire." He said, "Like make citizens and guards and everything?" I asked, that is kinda cool to be honest..

He looked kinda impressed.. "That would be precise, depending on what you did during while you were a mortal. Like looking at you, you'll easily be a citizen." He said, "W- what..?... Okay I'll do it, just please only make my son live the accident." I said, "Alright fine, if that's what you wish then." He said, he extended his hand, I took it and we shook, then there was a bright light.

(Timeskipy to before the accident)

(Still his POV)

I brought my son Muku with me inside the car, he needed help since he was six "So where are we going papa?" He asked, "Since you've been a good boy for the past month. Papa decided that we should celebrate and go out to eat at the fancy restaurant you love." I said, he got all excited, "Yay! Thank you papa." He said, I entered inside the car, I started it up.

I drove over to the bridge and the person started to follow us, he tried to hit us, "Papa, who is that person following us?" Muku asked, "I don't know baby." I said, the person tried hitting us again and I had to swerve, my car hit the railing and it broke, a fire started on the hood of the car, the car landed in the water, then everything went to black.

(Timeskipy to when he was brought)

(Gundham POV)

I think I've fallen in the kind mortal named Hajime trance since I've been watching over him.. he was a very caring caregiver to his kin despite not having much.. but the mortal has returned, I carried him over to my domain, I placed him on the bed and I tucked him inside the covers, I brought a chair over and I placed it near the bed.

I sat on it and I watched over him, a little while later he woke up, "Ugh... my head." He groaned, he slowly sat up, "I could get one of the people could get you some medicine for you." I said, he jumped in surprise, "Oh... you scared me." He said, he still looked the exact same but he had horns, a tail, and medium large demon wings...

Which mean he's quite strong, "But where am I?" He asked, "You're in my lair inside my domain at my realm, despite what the mortals believe, demons still need sleep and food." I said, "Oh.. what house am I staying at since you said that I'm a citizen." He asked, "I've changed my mind about your place in the Tanaka empire." I said, "Oh..! Am I guard or knight or something?" He asked, "Hajime.." I said, he looked surprised that I used his name.

My face redden a bit.. "I've fallen deeply in your trance." I said, "Huh..? I don't understand what you mean?" He asked, "I believe the mortals call it 'in love' with you." I said, his cheeks immediately redden, and he covered his face with his hands "Do you feel the same perhaps? Or is it like where I have to prove my love and you accept?" I asked, "Mhph." He mumbled through his hands.

I.. didn't hear him.. "I couldn't understand you dark love." I said, "I don't know, we only knew each other for a few hours." He said, "You think that but I've gotten your entire life on file and I've been watching over you..." I said, "H- huh?! Please don't tell me that you saw..." He whimpered, I brought him into a hug, he sobbed for a bit then he fell asleep again.

I tried to leave him be but he pulled me back and buried his head onto my chest, "N- no please stay.." He mumbled in his sleep, he wrapped his arms around my chest, he squeezed tightly, I slowly wrapped my arms around his waist, he nuzzled his head against my chest, I rest my chin on top of his head, 'I do feel bad for my dark love, but he made his vows. If his kin does the same thing as he did then I'll have to pull a lot of strings for them to be together again.' I thought, I fell asleep shortly after.

(Timeskipy)

(Hajime POV)

I slowly started to wake up and I saw that my face was a few centimeters from Gundham's chest, I tried to get up but he somehow got on top of me, the same boy from earlier came in, "Oh did daddy somehow fall asleep on you?" He asked, "I guess? I just woke up and my face was near his chest and I tried to get up and then he got on top of me." I said, "Oh okay, let me shake him awake." He said, he got on top of the bed and placed his hands on his father.

Oh no.. I know what he is going to do.. "DADDY GET UP! YOU FELL ASLEEP ON THE NEW FRIEND!" He yelled as he shook his father, "Gah!" Gundham yelled as he got off, "Torikku, I told you not to do that while I sleep." Gundham said sternly, "Sorry daddy but that was the only way you'll ever wake up." He replied bluntly, he than ran off somewhere, "I deeply apologize for that Hajime." He said, "It's okay, my son did that to me a few times." I said fondly.

I noticed that Gundham even looked more guilty, "Hey what's wrong?" I asked, he looked down "I'll tell you my plan once he asks." He replied, "Huh? Um okay..? I still don't understand the plans about me." I said, "I tell you in a few days and we'll see if you've fallen for me or not." He said, "Okay..? What should I do in the meantime?" I asked, I don't want to do anything that he doesn't want me to do after the kindness he showed me..

He looked kinda serious right now.. "Well since I know that no one is coming to the place you went in a while so Torikku is staying at the palace today, I have much great business to attend to and I don't want to leave him alone." He said, "Sure I'll watch over him until you return." I said, he brought my hand forward towards him and kissed it, "Thank you dark love, I shall give you great reward once I returned." He said, I nodded, he then got dressed and teleported away.

I got dressed and headed to the living room and I saw that Torikku was there playing with a dog, I sat down in front of him, "Did daddy say that you have to watch me?" He asked, "Yes, so what do you want to do today?" I asked, he thought for a bit, "I wanna watch movies with you!" He said, I nodded, we both set up the couch with blankets, he cuddled up against me, I brought the blankets around us.

The dog named Moncho laid beside me and I brought him into the blankets, we turned on show children movies that he wanted to watch, in a short while he fell asleep, a few movies later Gundham came back, he look surprised for some reason, "How did you get him to be so calm?" He asked, "He wanted to watch a kids movie so we did, then he fell asleep half way through and I continued watching if and a few other ones." I said, I'm a little sleepy right now..

He smiled gently.. "I thank you greatly my dark love." He said, "It's no big deal." I said, I smiled at him, he gently picked up Torikku and brought him to bed, he sat besides me, "Do you want to watch a movie with me then we make lunch, then we wake up Torikku and we eat?" I said, he agreed, I brought the blanks around us and we watched a horror movie, sadly at the end the puppy had to be killed.

I turned and saw that Gundham was crying "Why did they kill the pup pup?" He asked through tears, I brought him into a hug and I stroked his hair while he leaned onto my touch, "There there Gundham, it's all fake the pup pup is fine. It's just a movie." I said while rocking him, "O- okay." He said, "Do you want me to keep on holding you like this for a bit?" I asked, he nodded, I sat him in my lap and I gently rocked him.

He somehow fell asleep in a few minutes, I got out of the blankets and I made lunch, I placed them on the table, I woke up Gundham and he went upstairs to wake up Torikku, they look very happy, we all ate in silence for a bit.

(45 years later)

(Muku POV)

I still never got over what happened to papa, so I made a summoning ritual, a man with black hair and grey streaks appeared "Fuhaha.... You dare call the great Tanaka from his love? What is the wish that you so ever desire to cost such a price?!" He said, "I know that my papa did a trade with you to have me survive the accident. His name was Hajime Hinata." I said, he froze up for a bit, he went silent "Do you wish to trade your soul for him to live? Ha-" I interrupted him "No I know how you really feel about him, I wish to be with him after the crash." I said, "If you wish so then I must grant it then it is a deal." He said, I took his hand and shook it.
