'Zach? Zach, would you please open the door?' I hear that someone knocks on the door of the bathroom. Nina. 'I- I want to help you, Zach. But I can't help you, if you don't let me...' I stand up and close the toilet seat. I flush the toilet and sit on the ground. She doesn't have to know what I did... my stomach is empty. Like I didn't eat the whole day. I'm hungry, but I'm not going to eat.. 'Zach, please.'

'Nina, could you please leave me alone?' I ask. I've a lump in my throat. I can't talk anymore. I feel like I'm going to burst out crying.

'Oh...' Nina says. 'I- eh.. I'm in my room if you need me.' It's quiet for a couple of seconds. 'Zach?'

'Hm?'

'I love you, Okay?' Oh god.. Nina, please! Shut up!

'Yea..' I say. A tear streams over my cheek. 'I- i- love you to.'

'If you ever need me-'

'NINA! Just go!' Fuck.. what did I do. It's quiet for really long. 'N- Nina?' No response. She's gone.. I sigh. I hate a my life officially.. the tears streaming over my cheeks.

Why did I do this! How did I do this? Why am I such a asshole who scares his damn family off!! Why can't I just be normal.. normal like Nina. Normal like Daniel. Like Corbyn, like Jonah.. why did I deserve a life lie this?

I think I was in the bathroom for an hour. It was so long. I just didn't want to face Nina. I can't image how badly I've disappointed her.. then I stand up. It's time to get out the bathroom. I look in the mirror. Yep, like I thought.. my eyes are red of crying, they're swollen and the bags under my eyes are even worst. God.. I splash some water in my face and walk to the door. I unlock him and open the door.

'Zach!' Immediately someone hugs me.

'Nina?!' Okay.. What the fuck? 'Nina, what are you doing here?'

'Are you okay?' Nina asks. She pulls herself out the hug and studies me well.

'Nina, what are you doing here?' I ask again.

'I waited for you..' she says.

'A while hour?!'

'Yes, yes I did.'

'Where? In your room?'

'No, literally next to the door.' Nina says. She looks at me. 'You're my brother Zach.' She says. 'Like I said many times, you're the most important person in my life! I think you can image if you saw my real parents. Well.. Kristin is nice, I have to say, but.. Jack and my dad..'

'You're crazy, you know that!' I say. 'You waited a whole hour for me to come out of the toilet!'

'Oh, I'm waiting for other things,' Nina laughs. 'A lot of things. You don't know it yet, but i do.'

'What is it?' I ask.

'That's something you have to discover by yourself,' Nina says.

'Ugh, annoying child..'

'Ahw, I love you to sweety!' I shake my head.

I lay in my bed, looking at the ceiling. I just had a really, really, really long talk with Nina. But, she's not gonna day what she means. Ugh, I love and hate that child on the same moment. Well, I don't hate her, I mean she can be really annoying.
Someone knocks on the door. Obviously Nina.

'Door is open!' I yell. Someone opens the door. Oh my freaking pizzas.. it isn't Nina.. it's Jack. I jump up. 'What are you doing here?' I ask.

'I want to show you something,' He says. 'Follow me.'

'I'm not your dog!' Bitch please!

'I want to show you something,' Jack says again. 'Are you coming?'

'Yea, sure,' I say. Jack turns around and walks away. I walk after him.

'What do you want to show me?' I ask.

'Something I never showed anyone before,' he says. We walk to another stairs. Jack walk upstairs immediately, I wait a second. 'Why are you waiting?' Jack asks. He stops and looks at me.

'I'm just curious why you are showing me this,' I say. Jack grins. HOT DAMN! WHY SO I THINK HIS GRIN IS CUTE?! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?!

'I just want to apologize,' He says. 'Or am I not allowed to do that?'
Ya playing hard to get?! I can play that game to honey! What.. wait. Why ho- god...

'Well, you are allowed to do that.' I say. Jack smiles. Fuck..

'Follow me!' Jack turns around and runs up the stairs. I run after him. 'Are you good in climbing?'

'What?' I start to laugh. Jack smiles. 'No! Of course not. What is that for question?'

'Cause you have to climb on the roof.'

'On th- on the roof?!' Jack grins.

'Come on, pretty boy,' He laughs. 'I'll pull you up.' He throws the window open. Oh god I'm blushing.. better that he doesn't sees it.. Jack jumps on the window frame and climbs on the roof.

'Jack?' I walk to the window and look outside. I can't see him.

'Hey!' I look up. Jack stands on the roof, above the window. 'Come on, jump on the frame. I will pull you up!'

'Is it safe?' I ask.

'No, but there would be no fun if it was.' Jack laughs. 'I promise you, you won't fall off.' I hesitate for a second, but then I climb on the frame. I grab Jacks hand, who was reaching for mine.

His hands are rough. Like he has a lot of scars on is hands. But his hands are still warm. Rough, but warm.

Jack pulls me up. 'A- are you sure that it's safe?' I ask while I look down. It's so high..

'I do this almost very night,' Jack says. 'I know what I'm doing.' I don't let go Jacks hand. If I fall, I take him with me!
Jacks walks ahead. I look at the roof. I don't want to slip or whatever.
'We're still on time!' He says. He's excited. Excited that I trust him enough, excited that I want to go with him. 'Okay, sit down!'

'Here? Just, right here?'

'Yes! Just sit, Zach. I told you that I know what I'm doing!'

'Okay...' I sit down, really carefully. 'And What are we actually doing here?'

'Just wait,' Jack says. 'You'll see it when it's there.'

'When is what there?'

'You'll see!'

'Stop teasing me!'

'I can be worst if you really know me!'

'What Nina says?'

'Well..' Jack smiles. He goes with his hand through his hair. I recognize directly that his smile is different. Hurt, broken. 'I haven't been the best brother for Nina til so far,' he says. 'I haven't been a really good student, I'm just not really good. When my mother told me that she way pregnant, pregnant of Nina, something snapped. I don't know what. Maybe I was scared that they would pay attention to me. That they would forget about me. Since then, I think I was four or five years then. But since that moment I was just.. I become a jerk. Okay!' He laughs. 'When Nina was there, I bullied her. Always. Every moment of day, of every month, of every year! I'm such a bad brother. I was seventeen years old when I discovered that I had aggression problems. Since then I took my medicines. The years that I become a jerk. No, that I become the biggest fucking jerk of the school. And I feel sorry for it. It are the effects of my pills that made me.. me... so yea, I want you to know that I'm sorry for that.'
I look at him. In his chocolate brown eyes. Then I remember that I have to say something.

'W- wait, a-Are you apologizing?' I ask, quite surprised.

'I am,' He laughs. 'I know, I'm not really good at it, but, do you accept my apology?'

'Of course I do!' I laugh. 'If, only if you be a better brother for Nina. Oh and Reese and Ryan of course, but for Nina the most!'

'Why Nina?' Jack asks. 'Just because I'm curious.'

'Because Nina is the best sister I have,' I say. 'She's amazing. She's the person you go to when you have to tell something.. when you need a hug.-'

'Oh, then you have to come to me,' Jack laughs. He said what?

'Yea sure,' I laugh. We both start to laugh.

'Oh! It's happening! It's happening!' Jack says then. 'Look! Look! Look!' I look at Jacks pointing finger. 

He points to the sky. Some small, white dots, who are the stars, are shining in the dark sky. But they become brighter, brighter and brighter. It's like they say something. I don't know what, but I do know that's beautiful. Every star begins to shine brighter and brighter. In turn.

'Wow..' I say softly.

'You can see it once in a month,' Jack says softly. 'It's really special. It earth is on a special angle when you see this. It really special, because it's once in a month and it takes one minute.' When he finished that sense, the Stars shine in their own way.

'That was amazing,' I say softly. 'How did you discovered it?'

'She was angry,' I say. 'Angry that you didn't believed her. But you can make it right! Be a good brother, be yourself. But, before you do that; ask yourself who you want to be. If you don't know who you want to be, you can't be that person.' It's quiet for a while, while Jack is thinking.

'I want to be the best brother for Nina,' he says.

'Good,' I say. 'But, nice try; but I'm the best brother!' Jack burst out laughing.

'You wish!' Jack laughs.

'You wish!' I laugh. 'But.. should we go down? I get really tired.'

'Of course, come on.'
