Chapter 6
The picture above is Bishop. I have a set image of how (Y/n) looks, and I based Bishop off of that. But, you're welcome to imagine both (Y/n) and Bishop however you'd like :)
As for the onesie, dude I just combined two random purples. I didn't think about it too hard cause I wanted to get this chapter out today.
I'll post the digitalized version of human Decepticons + how I imagine (Y/n) + Bishop on my art book. I'll put the link in the comments.
Also, unrelated, but I got my very first car yesterday! It's a Nissan Sentra 2022, and I named him Ironhide. I know, I know, Ironhide's a truck, but whatever lol I'm getting an Autobot emblem to put on my car.
Warnings: Violence; (Y/n) almost murdering three major characters; talk of scientific experimentation; time seems to be moving too fast; cussing; explosions
Him and I updates every Friday and Sunday.
Thank you, stay safe, and enjoy the chapter :)
~*~*~*
Another month passed. Time seemed to go by faster now that (Y/n) was a mother. Bishop was five months old. He was getting big, but (Y/n) still managed to hold her son just fine. She was holding Bishop as Starscream complained, Shockwave and Megatron glaring at him.
"Is it really wise for Shockwave to spawn an entire Predacon army? Here, in this laboratory? Or within any part of this warship? I mean, not even the lone beast we had was compact enough to roam these corridors without tearing them asunder."
(Y/n) and Megatron shared a look. Starscream obviously still had selective hearing.
"Which reminds me, I am sorry for your loss." Starscream grinned at Shockwave, knowing today marked two months after the Predacon was groundbridged somewhere else.
Shockwave then looked at (Y/n) who shared his annoyed look. "I was referring to my off-site laboratory, which we had erected expressly for the cloning procedures."
(Y/n) had been the one to approve the use of Vehicons to dig out a sturdy cave for Shockwave. She oversaw the production and was impressed at how much they had built in a month. (Y/n) kept one arm over Bishop, keeping him firm in her side, while she raised her other to pinch the bridge of her nose. "Starscream...did you not pay attention this past month?"
Starscream looked between them then sighed. "You think of everything, don't you?"
Before either Commander or Megatron could answer, the Nemesis shook. Bishop yelped and clung to his mother, wide eyes looking around. Shockwave turned to one of the monitors.
"Damn. Shockwave?" (Y/n) looked.
"It is illogical that we would be attacked as of right now." Shockwave typed furiously. "Although, there appears to be an enormous mass on the flight deck."
(Y/n) narrowed her eyes and nodded, leaving Bishop with some Vehicons. Megatron and (Y/n) gathered Vehicons to check out what was going on, Starscream and Shockwave trailing along.
It all seemed to move too fast. She barely felt anything when she walked with Megatron to the flight deck. The doors opened, and (Y/n) was surprised to find the Predacon chilling on the deck.
"Woah! Hey, buddy!" (Y/n) smiled and approached the beast, holding her hand out.
The Predacon dipped it's helm, and (Y/n) pet what she thought was the beasts' muzzle. He let out a low rumble as his optics closed. Starscream freaked out immediately.
"How did it find us?!"
"Predacons possess precise honing instincts." Shockwave answered.
"And astonishing resilience." Megatron commented.
"So, did the Predacon hone in on you, or (Y/n)?" Starscream asked Shockwave, keeping his optics trained on them.
"My guess would be (Y/n)." Shockwave answered.
"I suppose it is time to make it official. (Y/n), assume command of my beast." Megatron placed a servo on her shoulder.
"Will do, dear." (Y/n) smiled up at him before continuing to pet the Predacon. "And Starscream, I'll need an assistant in training him."
Starscream stumbled. "M-me? Surely you can choose another?"
"No, sorry." (Y/n) said in a sweet tone. "Military command belongs to me, and you report to me. Why not seize this opportunity?"
Megatron kissed the crown of (Y/n)'s head before turning to leave. The Predacon reveled in (Y/n)'s attention, letting out low rumbles that sounded like purring. His tail waved back and forth gently, slightly pushing his helm against (Y/n).
"Oh! I know who you would like to see. Starscream, will you watch him for me? I need to get Bishop." (Y/n) began to walk away, leaving the Predacon to become defensive again.
"What?! You're leaving me alone with this beast? And what of your son?"
"The Predacon won't hurt him." (Y/n) ran off. I plan to train him to protect Bishop.
Grabbing Bishop wasn't much of a challenge, and didn't take much time at all. When she got back, however, Starscream had taken to torturing the poor thing. Bishop watched, oddly silent as Starscream spoke.
"You miserable beast, I am your sergeant, and I order you to crawl into your kennel, now!"
The Predacon let out a low growl, then huffed and turned his helm away. Starscream growled himself.
"I said now already!" Starscream attempted to taze the Predacon into submission, which made (Y/n) gasp.
The Predacon whipped his helm to Starscream, and spat out fire. Starscream yelped and ducked, just in time for only his elongated red helm-spike to catch fire. (Y/n) moved forward.
"That's enough!" She commanded.
The Predacon got up and trotted behind (Y/n), crouching a bit. Starscream was trembling on the deck. (Y/n) shook her head. "That is no way to treat the Predacon."
The Predacon huffed behind her in victory, then she turned to him. "And you, that's no way to treat your sergeant. Honestly, I'll have to train you both to be nicer to each other."
The Predacon let out a low whirl and lowered his helm. (Y/n) felt bad and sighed.
"Oh I can't stay mad at you..." (Y/n) pet his helm, then Bishop babbled and tried to reach the Predacon.
The Predacon looked carefully at Bishop. Sniffing him, (Y/n) could tell he remembered her son's scent. But, with Bishop being so young and not seeing the Predacon for two months, he had forgotten about the beast.
Thankfully the Predacon was forgiving and closed his optics as Bishop gently rested his hand on the Predacons helm. (Y/n) slowly moved his arm in a petting motion.
"Gentle, gentle." (Y/n) cooed softly to her son.
Bishop giggled and lightly smacked the Predacon. The latter pulled back slightly, blinked, then shook his helm and huffed. That made Bishop laugh more, which made (Y/n) laugh.
The Predacon rested, lying on the ground which prompted (Y/n) to sit with him, allowing Bishop to crawl to the Predacon. He laid his helm on his arms, flicking his tail lazily as Bishop attempted to crawl the Predacon. Bishop saw the shiny glint of the tail and propped himself up on his knees to reach it.
When Bishop grabbed a hold of it, (Y/n) was scared the Predacon would react like a dog would. Instead, he didn't seem too bothered by it. The Predacon simply stopped moving his tail and let the tiny male version of (Y/n) mess around with it. (Y/n) smiled softly and pet the Predacon's helm once more. "Good boy."
However, their serene moment was interrupted by Starscream. She didn't know why or how he'd managed to get the apex armor so fast, but he was there, in it. The Predacon stood, and (Y/n) gently pried Bishop away.
"Alright, you beast. I will not tolerate you being near our Master's son any longer! Now, for the last time, I demand you go into your kennel, now!"
The Predacon rose to his full height and let out a screech, (Y/n) covering Bishop's ears. "Woah, okay buddy, let's not do that."
Starscream chuckled. "Do your worst. The Apex Armor is virtually-"
The Predacon shot forward and grabbed Starscream, then began to swing him around like a dog with a new chew toy. He let out more screeches and growls, and Starscream yelled in response. "Release me!"
Bishop giggled and clapped his hands together, and (Y/n) laughed. "Alright, alright, put him down!"
The Predacon swung Starscream a final time, throwing him against the wall. He huffed and resumed his lying position. (Y/n) chuckled, but was interrupted.
"(Y/n), are you still with the Predacon?"
"Yes. We were going over some battle moves with Starscream. He's doing well!" (Y/n) saved Starscream his embarrassment.
"One of the excavation teams has failed to report in. I don't trust Starscream alone with him, so I want you to go and oversee the beast in battle. I wish to see if our Predacon is as adept at fetching bones as it is hunting Autobots."
~*~*~*
(Y/n) felt much more comfortable riding on the back of the Predacon than she did with the other Decepticons. (Y/n) looked over the side when the Predacon dove down, seeing a cave opening. The Predacon brought his wings in and sniffed at the opening, then let out a screech before charging in.
"Woah!" (Y/n) yelled, barely ducking in time to miss the top of the cave. "Careful, bud!"
The Predacon slammed into a rock wall by accident, not seeing how it turned. (Y/n) patted his neck. "It's okay, big guy. Caves will take you a little bit to get used to."
The Predacon huffed before looking forward and letting out another screech, making (Y/n) grimace before charging once more. In front of them were Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead and Wheeljack, and it seemed Miko was with them. Memories of (Y/n) showing Miko around their school played in her head, and she felt bad for this possibly being her demise.
For Bishop. (Y/n) thought, narrowing her eyes.
The Autobots transformed and drove the opposite way. (Y/n) took her blaster out, aimed it, but realized she couldn't get a clear shot. The Predacon's movements were too erratic. Instead, she pressed the button and made it transform into her scythe, which she used to point towards the Autobots and urge the Predacon.
"Fire!"
The Predacon obeyed, charging his breath up and firing it at the cars. Unfortunately, he missed. Ultra Magnus led them down a hard left, making the Predacon screech in frustration. The tunnel became more and more narrow.
"That son of a bitch!" (Y/n) yelled out, slipping off of the Predacon and running between his legs once he got stuck. "Fire!"
The Predacon did as told, but missed again once the Autobots made it through the hole at the end. The image of Bishop appeared in her head and she grew angry. Grunting in frustration, she yelled out.
"Ultra Magnus!"
The Predacon screeched with her. (Y/n) kept her scythe at her side, then looked up at the Predacon. "You try to get out as fast as you can. Starscream should be landing on top of here any minute now, trapping them. I'm going to take care of them myself."
The Predacon let out a low rumble as (Y/n) walked down the narrowing tunnel. Her steps made small echoes against the cave walls. The predacon tried harder and harder to break through the rock walls. The light emanating from the room lit up her form as she walked in from the darkness.
Bulkhead, Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus turned to her. Bulkhead gaped a little. "Woah, a new weapon?"
"Yes, seeing as Rayne destroyed my last two in the fire." (Y/n) spun her scythe. "Ultra Magnus is familiar with it." She grinned.
Ultra Magnus tensed. (Y/n) then turned to Wheeljack. "I've seen your face, and I know who you are, but I don't think we've ever formally met. I'm (Y/n), the Decepticon Commander."
Wheeljack scowled. "Oh yeah, Bulk's told me all about you."
"Oh, I'm flattered." (Y/n) grinned, then spun her scythe again, allowing the hilt to go across her body, the blade giving off a dangerous gleam. "I'll make sure to put in a good word with Megatron once I'm through with all three of you."
"I don't like the sound of that." Wheeljack shifted.
"We make our stand," Ultra Magnus took the Forge from his backstruts. "here, and now."
Bulkhead and Wheeljack transformed their servos into blasters. (Y/n) hummed. "So be it."
(Y/n) surged forward, slamming against the Forge and glaring up at Ultra Magnus. Then, in one swift motion, (Y/n) propelled herself backwards a few inches and swung her scythe against Ultra Magnus, throwing him on the ground, giving him a long gash in his side.
Wheeljack then ran forward, unsheathing his dual katana. (Y/n) clashed the flat of her blade with Wheeljack's, putting them in a fight for dominance and strength. Wheeljack propelled himself back further, then began charging. (Y/n) glanced behind her and saw Bulkhead doing the same thing.
Gritting her teeth, she quickly rehearsed a move in her head. Replicating it, she braced her scythe to the left, and looked back at Wheeljack. When they both got close enough, she quickly shifted her right foot and used weight planted on that foot to swing around, get Bulkhead with the tip and spin out, throwing him at Wheeljack.
Bulkhead, who was now spilling energon from his backstruts, hit Wheeljack dead on, making them collapse on the ground. Ultra Magnus let out a yell as he jumped up in the air, holding the Forge above his helm.
(Y/n) jumped back, watching the Forge slam into the ground. The two charged again, and then Magnus swung the hammer down, (Y/n) hooked the hilt with the curve of her blade, using the momentum of running to swing herself into the air and behind Magnus, kicking both feet out and kicking him into the ground.
Her back faced the entrance, and the walls began shaking. The Predacon trotted into the light, huffing at the sight. (Y/n) puffed through her nose, scythe lax at her side. "This is why you Autobots will never win. You have no sense of strategy or organization. Unlike me and my Predacon, here."
The Predacon roared upon being mentioned, raising his helm and puffing his chassis out proudly.
"I must admit I've done some research on you, Ultra Magnus. The Autobot Commander, hm? Seems like we must be arch rivals, since we are the same rank on different sides." (Y/n) then saw Bulkhead and Wheeljack still struggling to get up. "Although, I would expect you to have better control over your Autobots, like how I have with my Decepticons."
"He has no authority over me, only I have authority over me!" Wheeljack called from underneath Bulkhead.
"Ah, that's your problem. Well, sad to say you won't get to fix it." (Y/n) strutted towards the commander, raising her scythe. "And, one last thing...don't take this the wrong way."
(Y/n) raised her scythe over Magnus, who seemed to just accept his fate, before something metal hit (Y/n)'s side. Looking down, (Y/n) gasped. A cylinder was beeping quicker and quicker, and (Y/n) used the flat of her blade to hit it away. Turning to Wheeljack and Bulkhead, she saw Bulkhead finally get rolled off of Wheeljack.
"Bombs, Wheeljack?" The grenade exploded farther away. "In an enclosed space?"
"Well now you sound like Ultra Magnus, and that really pisses me off." Wheeljack stood, prompting Magnus to jump up.
(Y/n) took a few steps back and the Predacon screeched once more, getting into a defensive position. He tried to rush Magnus, but the Autobot grabbed the Forge and swung, hitting the Predacon in the helm with it. However, a few shakes and he seemed okay.
"Open fire!" Magnus commanded.
Bulkhead managed to get up and fire at the Predacon with Wheeljack. However, it barely affected him. He charged up his fire and shot it at Bulkhead, who jumped out of the way, and carried it over to Wheeljack, who also jumped. Ultra Magnus charged again, going for the chassis when (Y/n) intercepted, drop kicking him mid-jump.
The Autobot fell to the ground while the Decepticon landed just fine. Magnus stood and shook his helm, and didn't see the Predacon's tail coming down on him. Bulkhead jumped in the way and caught it. "No you don't!"
His tail lifted, dragging Bulkhead with it, and whipped him back, throwing him off. Bulkhead collided into Magnus, and (Y/n) stepped away to let them move past. They slammed into the rock wall. (Y/n) gave an approving smile and nod to the Predacon. They both approached the collapsed Autobots when Wheeljack called out to them.
"Hey, hotheads!"
Both of them turned to see. The Predacon charged up his fire once more, leaving his intake open. Wheeljack grinned and tossed a grenade towards him. (Y/n) gasped and jumped onto the Predacon's leg, propelled herself up onto his backstruts, hooked her scythe around his neck plates and swung herself around to kick the grenade away from the intended target.
She held on to his neck plates as the grenade smacked against three different rocks, then finally rolled onto the ground. There was nowhere to hit it, so (Y/n) braced herself against the Predacon. "Oh, shit!"
The explosion hit hard, but thankfully both she and the Predacon survived. (Y/n) let out a breath of relief. "Can you get us out of here, bud?"
The Predacon nodded and thrust his body upwards, knocking the pile of rocks off that had gathered. He scanned the area for the bone, which is what he originally was set out to do, while (Y/n) scanned the area for the Autobots. "I don't see them...dammit. They got away, or were killed by the explosion."
The Predacon rumbled and lowered his helm. (Y/n) pet him. "Although, having known the Autobots, it's most likely the former."
(Y/n) then shifted herself back onto his backstruts, only to find that the Predacon began moving towards something. He moved a rock out of the way, and (Y/n) could see an optic with a yellow hue. "Oh, you did it, bud! I'm so proud of you."
The Predacon didn't answer. He only cocked his helm a little bit before blinking a bit in bewilderment.
"What? What is it?"
The Predacon shook his helm then just grabbed the optic between his sharp dentae and took off in the hole above. He rose into the sky, circling a bit before dropping the optic. He dove down after it, and (Y/n) could see an odd-looking ship with Starscream, his armada, and someone in the Apex Armor.
The Predacon landed on the ship's wing. The thing in the Apex Armor looked up, and (Y/n) was surprised. "Miko?! How did you even...how does that fit you?!"
"I don't know, I just tapped it and it molded around me!"
(Y/n) thought for a moment. "Huh. Well then, I feel less bad for doing this."
She pointed her scythe at Miko. "Get her!"
Miko turned and ran, and (Y/n) hopped off the Predacon, allowing him to jump forward and pin her under him. (Y/n) hopped down from the wing of the ship, walking up to Starscream. "He found the bone. I'm not sure where Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead or Wheeljack are. But I think it's safe to say we got everything we need and more, what with this Autobot ship. I say we leave her stranded here."
The Predacon hissed at Miko and Starscream chuckled. "Excellent choice, Commander. You heard her, get this ship fired up and ready to get back to Megatron!"
(Y/n) saw the Armada rush to the ship, then turned back to the Predacon and Miko.
"(Y/n), status report!" Megatron spoke through the comms.
She turned her back to the Predacon. "Doing well. The Predacon secured the bone, it seems to be an optic. He is also currently dealing with the last known Autobot on site. The other three are..." (Y/n) turned back to the Predacon, only to pause and see him shaking Miko around like a rag doll as she screams. "M.I.A."
"All under your command I presume? I will not risk losing a precious commodity to his arrogance."
"Of course my command. The Predacon only listens to me. Which, by the way, isn't it time to give him a name?"
"'The Predacon' will suffice."
"Yeah, but what about when Shockwave makes the rest of them? We can't just call them all 'The Predacon.'" (Y/n) mocked Megatron's voice at the end.
Megtron chuckled. "Very well. When you get back to the Nemesis, you and Shockwave will come to an agreed name for him."
"Thank you, dear." (Y/n) smiled.
"You and the Predacon should return immediately. Starscream can stay behind, find and finish the Autobots."
(Y/n) nodded, watching the Predacon breathe fire onto Miko, but it seemed to do nothing. "Alright. Starscream, you and your Armada will stay here for a search and destroy of the three remaining Autobots. Me and the Predacon will go back with the bone."
Starscream stumbled. "What?! You can't-"
"Those orders are directly from Megatron."
Starscream faltered. "Er...yes, Commander."
(Y/n) nodded, then ended the comm. "Predacon!"
The Predacon stopped and turned to her. He lowered his helm, allowing (Y/n) to climb up and seat herself comfortably. The Predacon then picked up the bone in his sharp dentae, then set off.
~*~*~*
The Predacon laid down, his helm huge in (Y/n)'s lap. She was sitting on the ground, stroking his helm while Shockwave looked through a datapad. "What about Khul'ketis?"
Both the Predacon and (Y/n) looked up. "Shockwave, I can barely pronounce that."
Shockwave looked down at the datapad. "Yagvul?"
"No, it doesn't fit him."
"What is your criteria for pet names?"
"Something that fits. You think of the name, you think of him, and it just clicks in your head..." (Y/n) looked at him. "I mean, helm."
"Well then," Shockwave turned off the datapad and kneeled down to pet him. "You come up with a name."
(Y/n) looked down at the Predacon, who was enjoying being pet by his two favorite beings in all the universes. His tail swished side to side on the ground, and he jostled his helm slightly. The way his horns and spikes were formed caught (Y/n)'s attention.
"Hey, Shockwave, his horns curl and spike in the shape of a crown."
Shockwave looked. "It appears they do. What about it?"
"I mean, he's massive, probably huge for a Predacon, and his horns are in the shape of a crown." (Y/n) snapped her fingers. "I got it! We'll name him King!"
The Predacon looked up at her and let out a low rumble, nuzzling (Y/n)'s stomach. Shockwave hummed in thought. "He seems to like it, so I suppose I have no choice. Very well. His name is King."
(Y/n) grinned and laid her cheek on King's helm. "Hear that, King? You've got a name now!"
King nodded and huffed, nudging (Y/n)'s hand like a dog. (Y/n) chuckled and leaned back, continuing to pet him. "Alright, alright."
