Laying on the bed and her eyes following the moment of the rotating fan,Nene's mind wasn't at peace. She was waiting for Jamie to reply her message but he wasn't and that is making her get anxious

"Nene! Nene!"she heard her mom call and groan standing up. She stretched her body like a wild cat taking her phone along with her to meet her mom

"Nene, Zully is looking for you"her mom said and she smiled turning to see her best friend sitting on one of the sofas in the sitting room

"Nene! Nene!"her friend called as soon as her eyes landed on her

"Zully! What's up?"She said slumping on one of the sofas

"I came to check up on you, you don't look too lively"Zully said and Nene watched her warily. Zully is a plump brown skin girl, she's short with round beautiful face

"Jamie is not replying my messages since yesterday"Nene whispered. She didn't want her mom to catch her talking about a guy

"Jamie?! Jamie that I saw on my way here"Zully replied and Nene's eyes went wide

"He told me he isn't feeling fine,that's why I'm so worried he's not picking up my calls"Nene said and Zully snorted.

"I saw him and his gangs, it looks like they were about going out. He doesn't look sick at all"Zully said and Nene got angry

"Can you tell me where you saw them? I want to see him"Nene said standing up, she went back inside her room taking her black long hijab. She wore it and joined Zully in the sitting room

"Mom we will be back!"Nene shouted before rushing out of the house with Zully.

Nene's steps slowed down when she saw Jamie talking with his friends. He doesn't look sick at all

"Jamie!"Nene shouted angrily

"Nene"Jamie said calmly placing his two hands on the jeans pocket of his trouser. Zully took a safe distance from them while she watch the two couple

"You said you were sick"Nene said trying to control the tears threatening to fall from her eyes

"And now I am fine"Jamie replied nonchalantly slicing Nene's heart into two,his friends cheer him up. Nene feel like smacking each of them

"You don't use that tone on me before"Nene said and Jamie snorted smirking

"But I do now"Jamie replied, Nene went closer to him holding his hand and dragging him away from the sight of their friends

"Jamie! What's wrong with you?"Nene asked sounding worried

"There's nothing wrong with me"Jamie replied pushing her hand away

"You're acting so cold towards me, I know we don't have a problem what's wrong now?"Nene asked

"Did I tell you I have any problems with you?"Jamie asked acting cockily

"Oh Jamie! Tell me whatever I did and I swear I will apologize for it,please"Nene asked her eyes glistening with tears

"I'm tired of this relationship"Jamie said with a poker face

"What?!"Nene asked feeling drained, her heart breaking into pieces

"You heard me right! I can't be in a relationship with someone I can't touch and claims to be holy"Jamie said and Nene felt her head spinning

"But you were okay with it for the past two and an half years"Nene said holding herself from breaking down

"Things change Nene! People revolve and sorry to burst your bubbles, I'm not mad over you anymore. The feelings is gone and it's best to go on our separate ways"Jamie said and Nene supported her weight with the tree they're standing under

"After two and half years? Jamie! We dated for two and half years!"Nene said not able to control her tears any longer

"Well, you're still young to find another man,you're just eighteen"Jamie said trying to walk away but Nene stopped him

"Please Jamie, I'm sorry. Whatever I did wrong I'm so sorry, please forgive me. I can't even imagine myself with another man please Jamie,we have come this long to end this now"Nene said not caring about anyone seeing her as she cries bitterly

"I'm done with you Nene, you're my past now"Jamie said walking away while Nene broke down on the floor crying bitterly.
