(CHAPTER FOUR.) (A MOTHER'S AID FOR A DAUGHTER.)
The young girl with blue hair known as Hilda, was sleeping in great peace.
Since the previous day within the great forest and all of it's natural beauty.
The young adventurous girl had both wondered and even dreamed about the large werewolf creature.
Since the day it first saved the young girl with blue hair.
Hilda was both determined and greatly wished to see the large wolf beast once again.
As well spend time within the great forest, and see all that has to offer for a brave and adventurous heart that Hilda Possess when in her.
As the young girl with blue hair sleeps, the ray of light from the sun had touched Hilda's face and awaken her.
Hilda had opened her eyes and stood her back straight upward.
She was rubbing both of her eyes with her right arm and was yawning at the same time.
Hilda was looking everywhere her surroundings.
and immediately realized that she was inside of her bedroom.
Hilda had reflected on the events from the previous day before.
Such as searching the werewolf together with both of her friends and with the young Librarian
Witch woman.
Hilda was remembered everything that had happened in the previous day.
And immediately felt dread when she reflected on the river back stream, That nearly claimed her very life.
Hilda had remained silent for a short period of time.
Remembering well of the events from the day before.
What made Hilda both curious and grateful however.
Was the nomad from within the great forest, the very same man that saved Hilda from drowning in the very same river stream that she fell and was carried away from as well.
The man known as Hector cross, who lives among the world of nature.
As well helping to guide Hilda, alfur, kaisa in their return to the large wall city known as trollberg.
Hilda had wondered if the nomad was well and had returned to his home within the great forest.
The young girl with blue hair was somewhat lost in a ocean of deep thought.
As well reflecting on many events that had happened to her, since the large beast-bear had chased and nearly ended her very life.
As well being saved by the very same werewolf that Hilda wish to encounter again.
Just as Hilda was reflecting on more of the previous events from the previous two days before.
The door to her bedroom had opened and her mother had appeared in her line of sight.
Johanna had approached towards the thoughtful girl with blue hair and spoken with a caring, yet concerned tune in her voice.
Johanna: are you alright Hilda?
Hilda: i am mum, I just woke up now.
Johanna was not completely convinced of Hilda's words, nor believed she was completely well either.
The mother of the blue hair girl had token a sit in the edge of the bed.
And responded back to Hilda with a mother's caring and concern tune in her voice.
Johanna: Hilda, I know something is both bothering you, and i know you are not telling me the complete truth either.
Hilda: i am telling you the truth mum, I really am.
Johanna believed that Hilda was hiding secrets from her.
As well hoped that the young mother would easily believe what she was told.
Despite believing that Hilda was both keeping secrets from Johanna.
As well lyng to her since the day that Hilda first returned from the great forest.
from two days before, as well from the previous day.
Johanna had wanted to press on and ask many questions.
and hoped that Hilda would both explain and tell her nothing but the complete truth.
Johanna's heart was greatly heavy and filled with sorrow.
Due to having her own daughter lyng to her, since the day that Hilda had first went and returned from the great forest.
Johanna's mother Instinct had spoken in her heart.
Telling her to speak with Hilda and gain the information from her.
In hopes of bringing peace within her very heart and worried thoughts.
But atlast, Johanna felt that she was not truly prepared to make such a action.
nor wish to bring more burden and distrust between the mother and daughter.
Johanna had simply ignore the subject and worried thoughts aside for the time being.
And responded back with a caring tune in her voice.
Johanna: Hilda, you know I will always love you, and i will always care for you, no matter what Circumstances are.
The young girl with blue hair had looked in johanna's eyes.
And listen to every word that the mother had spoken towards her.
knowing well each word was very much true and meaningful.
Johanna: i know you don't want to worry me, nor want to scare me, but you keeping secrets from me, as well lyng to your own mother, is what truly worries me.
Hilda had looked away from johanna's eyes.
and was staring at her bed blanket, feeling truly ashamed to lie to her own very mother.
Who both loves and care for the young blue hair girl.
Johanna had continued to speak while holding Hilda close towards her for a deep and caring hug.
Johanna: i understand you don't want to speak about it now, but promise me you'll tell me the complete truth, when the time is right.
Hilda: I promise mum, I'm sorry if I'm making you so worried about me, I just don't want to lose you.
Johanna had hug her daughter close to her.
Hilda immediately returned the hug towards her as well.
Johanna had once again spoken to Hilda, with a mother's voice to calm a child's worried heart.
Johanna: you will not lose me Hilda, and I will always be there for you, no matter what.
Hilda: mum, can I ask you a question?
Johanna: of course Hilda, what's on your mind?
Hilda did not truly know if she was prepared to speak about her nightmare to Johanna.
About her mother ending her own very life, when she learned that Hilda was no longer in the world of the living.
Despite being a dream, it felt very real in Hilda's mind.
And the fact that her own mother would choose to end her own very life.
if she no longer had Hilda in her life, and have nothing to live for either.
Hilda's heart was consumed with fear and great sorrow.
As well being afraid of johanna's Reaction, if the young girl with blue hair had spoken such a question towards her mother.
After a short moment of silence, Hilda had spoken to her mother.
As calmly and as bravely as possible, without worrying or breaking her mother's heart greatly.
Hilda: well, I was wondering, if something happens...
Hilda was greatly unsure of herself to finish her current sentence.
Due to risking her mother being extremely worried of Hilda and her well being.
Hilda had saw that Johanna was both curious and confused at the same time.
As well wondering what Hilda was trying to say to her.
before Hilda had stopped at her current unfinished sentence.
The young girl with blue hair had Resumed her speech, and hoped her mother would react well.
Hilda: if something bad happens?
Johanna: what you mean Hilda?
Hilda: if someone lost something very important in their life, like a person they care about greatly?
Johanna was silent from Hilda's speech, as well shocked of what her daughter had spoken to her.
Hilda had noticed that her mother was both silent and held her hands close together.
As well having a somewhat sorrow and uncertain expression on her face.
Hilda had felt pity and sorrow towards her mother.
As well ashamed of what the young girl with blue hair had said to her mother.
Hilda had spoken again with a sympathy tune in her voice.
Hilda: mum, I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, I was just...
Johanna: it's alright Hilda, but please don't talk about such things, it's not something you should think about!
Hilda was greatly ashamed of speaking such words towards her mother.
Johanna had noticed her daughter was feeling greatly ashamed of herself.
She hug her daughter close towards her and spoken with a calmer and more gentle tune in her voice.
Johanna: I'm sorry Hilda, I didn't mean to make you feel bad, I just, I don't want to talk about or hear such things.
Hilda had immediately returned the hug and responded back to her mother.
Hilda: it's ok mun, I hope i didn't upset you about it, I didn't mean to make you angry.
Johanna: I'm not angry Hilda, I just don't want to hear you say or think that kind of thing, especially as a child.
Hilda: I'm really sorry mum, I just needed to know for sure.
Johanna: but why, why are you thinking of such a thing in mind?
Hilda was lost in her mind, not knowing if to explain her dream about her mother's fate.
Or to simply let it be, and not continue the matter of subject any further.
After being silent for a short period of time.
Johanna had held her Daughter close towards her and spoken once again with a loving mother's tune in her voice.
Johanna: Hilda, please tell me what's bothering you, I want to help, but you have to tell me the truth, I just want you to be happy again, not carrying a burden within you.
After hearing her mother's voice and supportive speech.
Hilda had responded back to her mother as calmly as possible.
Hilda: I had a dream about you mum.
Johanna: what was the dream about, did something happened in your dream?
Hilda was not completely sure of herself.
Nor believed that her mother would react well of what she was about to tell her mother either.
Johanna could feel how worried her daughter was in her arms.
Hilda held her mother close in a tight hug.
In fear of losing her only family member that the young girl with blue hair has.
Johanna had held her Daughter close in her arms.
And spoken with a mother's voice of love and support.
Johanna: it's ok Hilda, it was only a dream.
Hilda: it felt so real, I dreamed about losing you mum.
Johanna had held Hilda close in her arms and responded back to calm the young child's heavy heart.
Johanna: Hilda, what you saw was only a dream, a illusion from your mind, what you saw in your dream was not true or real at all.
Hilda: but it felt so real, and the thought of losing you mum, was to much, i... I just don't want to lose you mum!
Johanna: you won't Hilda, it was only a dream, having nightmares is normal, it happens sometimes.
Hilda had looked at Johanna eyes, while hugging her as tightly as possible.
And responded back with a concern and very heavy tune in her voice.
Hilda: I really hope that I won't lose you mum, I just don't want to lose the only family I have.
Johanna: you won't Hilda, I promise you with all of my heart, as long as I am alive, I will always love and support you.
Hilda had placed her face on her mother's side.
And had tears the fell from her blue eyes.
Johanna had held Hilda close in her arms and was Stroking the young girl's hair with her right hand as well.
Johanna had once again spoken with a caring and supportive voice.
Johanna: it's ok, I'm here Hilda, and you will never lose me, no matter what kind of nightmares you will have.
Hilda: you promise mum, i... I didn't want to tell you this before, because I didn't want to worry you so much.
Despite having a calm and loving expression on her face.
Deep down in Johanna's heart, she was greatly worried about Hilda and her well being.
Hilda was all that Johanna has in life, as well the only thing that was pushing her in life.
Without Hilda in johanna's life, the young mother would have nothing to live for.
And could not continue to live a life without proper Purpose in her very life.
As a mother, it was Johanna's duty to raise and guide her child in life.
Till Hilda would reach adulthood and one day Live her own life to the fullest.
Johanna had sworn to protect and always love her only child.
As long as she lives and able to both walk and keep pushing herself, until the very end.
Johanna had responded back to Hilda as calmly and as supportive as possible.
without further worrying her daughter any more, as well cheering her heavy heart.
Johanna: you done the right thing to tell me, it helps greatly to remove the burden within you, and I promise you with all of my heart.
Johanna had wiped the tears from Hilda's eyes away and hug her daughter tightly.
Hilda had returned the hug and was smiling.
Johanna's heart was filled with joy, as well being very grateful to cheer Hilda's heavy heart.
When both mother and daughter had separated from the hug.
Johanna had spoken with a happy and playful tune in her voice.
while having a smile of her own as well.
Johanna: do you feel better now Hilda?
Hilda: I do mum, and sorry again for worrying you so much.
Johanna: it's alright Hilda, what matters is you are well and happy again.
Hilda's heart was once again filled with great joy and peace.
As well full of hope and high spirits for all that her mother had spoken to her.
Johanna had once again spoken to Hilda, with a kind and loving tune in her voice.
Johanna: you need to get dress and have breakfast, you have school today Hilda.
Hilda had immediately remembered that it was a school-day.
And had completely forgotten it as well, due to the events from the previous day.
Hilda had immediately realized of her current hour of day and responded back to her mother.
Hilda: I completely forgotten that I have school today, I hope I'm not late!?
Johanna: you still have time Hilda, but you need to get ready now, I already made breakfast for you.
Hilda had immediately stood up straight and left her bed.
While Hilda was grabbing her school uniform from inside of her dresser.
Johanna had immediately and already made Hilda's bed for her.
When Hilda had grabbed all of her school uniform Clothings.
She immediately went to the bathroom to change into her school uniform clothings.
While Johanna had went to the kitchen and awaited for her daughter.
Johanna had prepared her own breakfast, while still awaiting for Hilda to arrive and eat breakfast together on the same dinning table.
The young Thirty year old woman had made a couple of Strawberry jelly toasts and green tea for herself.
Johanna had placed the dishes on the dining table and token a seat on her chair.
Johanna was observing her entire surroundings, and noticed that twig was resting in his usual place.
Twig was sleeping on a rug near by, that is rounded design and has three separate colors.
With a blue outer color, a Paige color close to the outer blue ring and in the middle with a red color ring close to the middle Paige color.
Twig was sleeping peaceful on the rug that the young deer-fox was sleeping at.
Johanna had smiled at Twig and was happy to see the young deer-fox resting in great peace.
Twig was just as part of the Grayson family as far back as Hilda was a much younger age.
Johanna reflected on the day that both herself and Hilda had first met twig.
And how strong the bound between the deer-fox and both of the Graysons are.
Johanna was greatly grateful to have both Hilda and twig in her life, as well having both alfur and Tontu.
The young Thirty year old woman was still observing her entire surroundings for a short period of time.
After a short moment of time as passed, Hilda had arrived in the dinning table with her school uniform on.
The school uniform that Hilda is currently wearing on.
Is a dirty-yellow colored sweater with a white insignia on the left side chest.
A white shirt underneath the dirty-yellow sweater with a red-collar.
A dark-gray skirt with black tights and light gray rain boots.
The young girl with blue hair had token a seat on her chair at the dinning table and began with her breakfast.
Hilda was eating a bowl of cereal with milk.
as well also having Strawberry jelly toasts that Johanna had offered to Hilda.
Hilda was eating her breakfast in both peace and great enjoyment.
Johanna had smiled when she token a sip from her cup of green tea.
Hilda had smiled and was eating her breakfast as quickly, but as careful as possible.
Johanna however was taking her time on her breakfast.
She was eating her breakfast and drinking from the cup of green tea with a calm and slow pace.
Due to enjoying her morning breakfast and watching Hilda eating her breakfast as well.
Hilda had noticed that her mother was watching her eating the breakfast that Johanna had made for her.
Being curious of her mother watching her from the opposite side of the dinning table.
Hilda had spoken to her mother with a curious tune in her voice.
Hilda: hey mum, can I ask you a question?
Johanna: of course Hilda, what's on your mind?
Hilda: way are you staring at me?
Johanna: oh, sorry, I didn't mean to stare at you like that, I was just eating breakfast and watching you at the same time.
Hilda: but why watching me eat?
Johanna: I was watching your expression actually, and saw how happy you are right now.
Hilda had returned the smile on her face, and continued to eat her breakfast.
Johanna had also continued to eat her breakfast as well.
As mother and daughter had finished their breakfast dishes.
Johanna had placed the cereal bow and all the other dishes in the kitchen sink and had already begun to clean them all.
As Johanna was Washing each dish from the kitchen sink with soap.
Hilda had wondered a thought that was in her mind, and was reflecting on it for a short period of time.
The young girl with blue hair had approached towards her mother and spoken with a curious tune in her voice.
Hilda: mum, can I ask you something, before I leave to school?
Johanna: of course sweetie, what you like to ask me?
Hilda: well, I was wondering something, what was grandmother like?
Johanna had stopped cleaning the wet cereal bow in her hands.
and her expression had changed from happy joy, to great sorrow and depression.
Hilda had noticed how sad her mother was now, and immediately regretted to ask the question that she had just spoken of.
The young girl with blue hair had immediately spoken again with a apologetic tune in her voice.
Hilda: I'm so sorry mum, I didn't mean to make you sad, I just had this thought in mind and asked out of curiosity, I'm very sorry about it.
Johanna: it's alright Hilda, you done nothing wrong in asking that question, I... I haven't spoken about my mother once, have I?
Hilda: not once, I was just very curious about you when you were in my age, like what was your childhood like, and with your relationship with your mum too?
Johanna had Finnish cleaning the bowl of cereal and placed it with the other dishes to dry itself.
When Johanna had turned the kitchen sink water off and dried her hands with a nearby towel.
Johanna had approached towards Hilda and lowered herself down in one knee.
She placed both of her hands on Hilda's shoulders and spoken with a calm tune in her voice.
Johanna: my mother was a very kind and a strong woman for her time, she was someone I looked up to greatly.
Hilda: really?
Johanna: yes, my parents were everything to me, I used to spend time with them quite often.
Hilda was even more curious then ever before.
As well wishing to know more about her mother's tale.
Hilda had responded back with a curious tune in her voice.
Hilda: what did you and both your parents use to do together, I like to know more about grandmother and grandfather.
Johanna: besides being a sparrow scout as a little girl and having both of my parents watching me proform all kinds of scout tasks.
Johanna had paused from her speech for a few seconds, then immediately spoken again with a happy, yet sad tune in her voice.
Johanna: we use to visit the park and have a family picnic together there.
Hilda: I remember you wanted to spend time together there, but we never did?
Johanna: I was quite busy lately, and I had plan it for a little while now.
Hilda: we could still visit the park together later, i do like to visit the places you use to go when you were little.
Johanna had stood back up on her feet and responded back with a happy tune in her voice.
Johanna: I would love that too, but I don't think we can today unfortunately.
Hilda had a confused expression on her face, and responded back to her mother with a curious, yet confused tune in her voice.
Hilda: how come mum, I thought you wanted to visit and spend time together at the park?
Johanna: i do Hilda, but lately I didn't had the time, due to both working at the hardware store and being a Graphic Designer at the same time.
Hilda had understood well of her mother's being quite occupied.
As well both mother and daughter not spending time together as much as before.
The young blue hair girl had responded back to her mother with a understanding tune in her voice.
Hilda: I understand mum, and I know how busy you have been lately too.
Johanna: I'm so sorry we haven't been spending time together that much lately.
Hilda: it's alright mum, I know you want to spend more time together, but I also know how important both the hardware store and Graphic Designs are for you.
Johanna had smiled and placed her right hand gently on Hilda's head, then responded back with a caring tune in her voice.
Johanna: don't worry Hilda, we'll spend time together as soon as I have more free time.
Hilda had smiled as well and hug her mother tightly.
Johanna had immediately returned the hug to her daughter as well.
When both mother and daughter had separated from the hug.
Johanna had spoken with a happy tune in her voice.
Johanna: how about tomorrow we go to the park together, or possibly in the end of the week, what you say Hilda?
Hilda: I will love that mum, you deserve to take a break and rest from time to time too.
Johanna: don't worry Hilda, I get plenty of rest, and I'm used to working a lot too.
Hilda had remembered the many times that her mother had slept on her Graphic Design board or on the couch.
Due to over working from her Graphic Design or hardware store jobs.
Hilda had understood well of how hard her mother works to keep supporting the both of them.
As well trying to support and attend the many activities of Hilda.
From both elementary school, to being present in the sparrow scouts activities.
It made Hilda worried about her mother greatly, and how much her mother works at her two jobs.
and supporting the young girl with blue hair at the same time.
Hilda had hoped that her mother was not over doing herself.
As well taking great care of her own health and well being in general.
Johanna had spoken once again with a motherly tune in her voice.
Johanna: alright Hilda, it's time for you to go to school now, I already prepared your meal and everything for you.
Hilda had immediately Realized that she still had to go and attend to trollberg elementary school.
The young girl with blue hair had immediately graded and checked inside of her school backpack.
When Hilda had finished to look inside of her school backpack.
She placed the backpack behind her and spoken to her mother.
Who was already at her Graphic Design board and was filling her current task of the day.
Hilda: hey mum, I'm off to school now.
Johanna had turned her attention towards Hilda and responded back to her daughter with a smile on her face.
Johanna: ok sweetie, have fun at school and remember to stay out of trouble, and listen to Ms.Hallgrim at class.
Hilda: I will mum, and by away, can I ask you something before I go?
Johanna: of course Hilda, what you like to ask?
Hilda: well, I was wondering if we can do something together later this afternoon, like talk about more about grandmother and grandfather, and more about your childhood life too?
Johanna: of course Hilda, I'll explain more about my childhood and parents later when you come back from school.
Hilda: ok mum, maybe later I'll visit you at the hardware store, I might spend a little bit of time with David and frida today too.
Johanna: it's quite fine Hilda, what matters is you are well and having fun with both of your friends.
Hilda wanted to hear the rest of her mother's tale, about her childhood life and parents.
But atlast, Hilda did not had the time to ask or hear about it at the current time.
The young girl with blue hair had decided to let the subject of the matter laid to rest for the time being.
And Approached towards the main front entrance door.
Hilda had turned her attention towards her mother and spoken before leaving for school.
Hilda: ok mum, I'm off to school now, I love you.
Johanna: I love you too Hilda, take care and have a great day in school.
Hilda had opened the main front door and exit from both her and Johanna's home.
The young girl with blue hair had closed the main front door from behind her.
And immediately went to her current destination at trollberg edmund Ahlberg elementary school.
Leaving Johanna alone at their home and filling her current task of the day as well.
Hilda was outside of her house's building and was on the main city street.
The young girl with blue hair had looked at her house for a short period of time.
Before leaving the area and went to her current destination.
Hilda was thinking about her mother and everything they both had spoken together before.
And wondered how well Johanna's health was current is.
and what was her childhood life was before.
