     ALL OF HAWKINS knew who the Musso's were. Or, at least, that's what Jude Musso was convinced of since their family name never left their mouths. The oldest, River, was considered the most normal as he was left to care for his younger siblings, twins Jude and Phoenix, after their dad bailed two days after River's 21st birthday. The middle child and older twin, Jude, was the oddest of them all, always stuck in his head or stirring up trouble no matter the cost. The baby, Phoenix, was almost as odd as Jude, but she was a straight A student and on her way to making the cheer team in hopes of proving herself worthy. But, it was hard for all of them to fit in when all Hawkins saw was Carter Musso when they looked at Jude and his siblings.

It seemed that Carter Musso could no longer live with the shame of ruining his band's chance to make it big. Hawkins could have been a place that people wanted to visit if rock legends originated from there. Yet, he destroyed that dream when his drinking caused a car crash. It was a miracle no one had died or been injured too badly, but it was even more shocking that he'd only spent a week in jail. A talent scout who'd been making plans for Carter and his band to relocate to New York to start playing at larger arenas was taken away and any hope he and his band mates had were completely shattered. If that wasn't the worst of it, everyone looked at Carter like a pest———something that should be squashed but no one wanted to get close enough. River hoped his father would bring himself out of the hole he'd fallen in after the accident, but that went away when he woke up to their father gone. In his wake, there was a note on the table that said he couldn't stay in Hawkins anymore and that River was in charge of Jude and Phoenix. But hey, at least he had the decency to leave them thirty-two dollars.

Jude didn't understand why River and Phoenix still tried to please their town, always catching the sneers and judgemental looks the townspeople sent them whenever they were out in public. Nothing was ever good enough for Hawkins, and Jude no longer gave a shit what anyone thought of him. Instead, he chose to focus on writing his own music so that he could actually make it in the music world, unlike his deadbeat father. He accepted his flaws———some of which he never spoke about but included in his music———and wore the title of outcast proudly.

When he happened to come upon a broken-down van in the middle of the street with the odd pairing of Eddie Munson and Chrissy Cunningham standing by the hood, he thought about leaving them there to fend for themselves. But, instead, he offered them a ride and took them to Eddie's trailer; his only request was that Eddie give him some weed free of charge. After he took them to the trailer park, he thought that would be the last time he saw the two, but when he heard screaming coming from inside the trailer and rushed inside to see what was going on, his life was forever flipped upside down.

And, if there was one thing Jude knew for sure, he was on the highway to hell.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
I HONESTLY DID NOT THINK THIS WOULD HAPPEN, BUT OFC i fell for another character 😫 I truly didn't see myself creating an Eddie fic even though I fell in love with him, but after finishing season 4, I couldn't resist!!

This will be set in the same universe as my Steve Harrington fic (Come On Eileen) but you don't need to read that in order to read this one!  I will include my other oc's from that book too + mention stuff that happens in it, but it'll all be explained (hopefully lmaoo).

There will also be plot changes (some that will have happened prior to the start of this fic) and throughout, but hopefully y'all will see it all as being for the better 😅 I am still planning out the rest of the book, but I hope you all will like what I've got in store for Jude and Eddie!! 💓

EDIT 10/16/22: Jude's face claim was originally Tyler Young, but I could not find any scene packs for him, so I decided to change the face claim, and Rudy Pankow actually fits a lot better especially with his gifs and scene packs!! I also changed Phoenix and Elliot's because their new face claims have more scene packs than the originals!! + I can use the gifs of Rudy and Jonathan I already have saved sooo!!
