Chapter 49: "A New Rival"
Nora was in her element, excelling in her fashion design classes and loving every minute of it. But little did she know, her success had caught the eye of one of her seniors, a charming and handsome young man named Julian.
Julian had been watching Nora from afar, admiring her talent and beauty. He couldn't help but feel drawn to her, and he found himself wanting to get to know her better.
As Nora worked on her latest design project, Julian made his move, strolling over to her table and striking up a conversation. Nora, oblivious to Julian's intentions, chatted happily with him, discussing fashion and design.
But Ethan, who had been watching from across the room, didn't miss the flirtatious glint in Julian's eye. He felt a pang of jealousy, his heart racing with possessiveness.
Who was this guy, and why was he flirting with Nora?
Ethan strode over to Nora's table, his eyes locked on Julian. "Hey, Nora," he said, his voice low and husky. "How's it going?"
Nora looked up, smiling. "Hey, Ethan. I'm good. Just working on my project."
Julian smiled, holding out his hand. "Hi, I'm Julian. Nora and I were just discussing fashion."
Ethan's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched. "Ethan," he said curtly, shaking Julian's hand.
The tension was palpable, and Nora sensed it immediately. "Ethan, what's wrong?" she asked, her brow furrowed with concern.
Ethan forced a smile. "Nothing's wrong, Nora. I just need to talk to you for a minute."
Nora nodded, getting up from her table. "Okay, let's go."
As they walked away, Julian watched them, a sly smile spreading across his face. He had stirred up trouble, and he knew it.
But he didn't care. He was determined to win Nora's heart, no matter what it took.
As they walked away, Ethan couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Who was this Julian guy, and why was he flirting with Nora?
"Ethan, what's wrong?" Nora asked again, noticing the tension in his body.
Ethan sighed, trying to shake off the feeling of jealousy. "It's just...I don't like the way that guy was looking at you," he said.
Nora rolled her eyes. "Ethan, don't be ridiculous. Julian is just a friend," she said.
Ethan raised an eyebrow. "A friend? You just met him," he pointed out.
Nora shrugged. "So what? I can have friends, can't I?" she asked.
Ethan nodded, feeling a pang of guilt. He knew he was being possessive, but he couldn't help it. He loved Nora, and he didn't want to share her with anyone.
"I'm sorry, Nora," he said, pulling her into a hug. "I just get a little crazy when it comes to you."
Nora smiled, hugging him back. "I know, Ethan. And I love you for it."
But as they hugged, Ethan couldn't shake off the feeling that Julian was going to be a problem. He was going to have to keep a close eye on him, that was for sure.
