It has been a month after Joon completed his application for the mandatory military service that he must do for two years. He has felt so much happier after completing his therapy sessions, and it has made him feel ready for the next step in his career and life, he was planning to leave MBLAQ very soon as his contract ended but decided to renew it to continue his acting career and a solo singer.



~JOON POV~



After completing my therapy sessions was finished I felt like a brand-new man who is going to turn a brand-new chapter in my life that is about to start. I looked at Y/N-ah who was standing next to Jungkook-hyung and I simply smiled at how affectionate they are with each other; I have something really important to tell Jungkook-hyung before I enter the military base. I texted Jungkook-hyung, so I could meet him at a café where it is safe from the crazy sasaeng fans won't find us. The next day I went out nice and early to meet up with Jungkook-hyung and once I arrived there I saw Jungkook-hyung was already there with his dog Bam drinking his favourite drink which was a large Caramel Frappuccino while his dog has a puppuccino as a treat. I went to the counter to order my drink a large Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino and sat in front of Jungkook-hyung with a smile on my face.
"hey hyung, you're here already". I spoke up as my way of greeting.
"Hey man, I just came here". Jungkook-hyung smiled as he sips on his drink.
"I am so glad I was able to have the time to meet you today". I said.
"I guess it was sheer luck". Jungkook-hyung smiled.
I smiled at him as I sipped my drink.
"So? What is it that you need to talk to me about?" Jungkook=hyung asked me.
"Well to be honest with you the reason why I needed to talk to you is about Y/N". I replied going to the point of our meeting.
"Oh okay? Is there a reason for us to talk about Y/N-ssi?" Jungkook-hyung asked while sipping on his tea.
"As you know that I am going to start my mandatory military service and my friendship with Y/N-ah has never changed, and before I go I want to give you and Y/N-ah my blessing on the day you two start dating". I said as I felt a heavy load of burden dropped off my shoulders.
"Your blessing? What do you mean by that?"Jungkook-hyung asked.
"You know what I mean". I smirked.
I simply smiled at him hinting in what I meant while sipping on my coffee, he blushed took another sip and nearly choked on his drink.
"Aigoo hyung slow down on your drink, and you should be more careful, I don't want Y/N-ah to think that I tried to poison you". I said while teasing him as I laughed.
"Aish you should at least give your hyung a warning". Jungkook-hyung whined after he stopped coughing.
We both laughed at the situation.



~JUNGKOOK POV~

I honestly did not expect for this brat to be this bold, kids these days are getting bolder these days well Joon-ssi is obviously no longer a child, but he is younger than me by a couple of years so it makes sense that he feels super comfortable around me, and it is all because of Y/N-ssi.
"Hyung I have been observing how you two look at each other, and honestly it honestly makes me very happy to see her happy". said Joon.
I put down my drink and looked at him concerned.
"Are you sure actually okay with me dating Y/N-ssi? Even though she is your ideal type?" I asked.
"She was my ideal type back in High school, but my ideal type has changed throughout the years and don't get me wrong Hyung I still love her but my love for her is more of a sisterly love than love love". Joon replied.
I nodded my head as I understood him he just wants to see his best friend happy and I got his blessing maybe I will have the courage to ask Y/N-ssi on a date.
"Yah aish you are a sneaky brat that knows way too much information that not even my fellow members or the label knows". I scolded him as we laughed.
"Hyung I guarantee you that they already know". Joon replied as he took a bite out of the croissant.
"Mwolago?!" I exclaimed nearly dropping my sandwich.
"Yah you guys so obvious on how much you two like each others that everyone knows that you two like each and wants to be more than friends". Joon explained.
Was I that obvious?! What if Dispatch hears this and will find a way to write down a 'scandal' in which it isn't to begin with, and I know how crazy some fans can be. I need to be more careful.
"Aish and Dispatch would find a way to write down their next scandal about me". I said worriedly.
"Hyung don't worry I'm sure ARMY will understand you, and they rather want to see you happy more than anything".
"I'm more worried about those sasaeng fans that might have too much free time to harass Y/N-ssi". I replied.
"Their voices never counts because we all know how much ARMY love Y/N-ssi and the majority of them ship the both of you more than anything I have ever seen before, and they are willing to defend her from the sasaeng fans' toxic death threats". said Joon with so much reassurance.
"You know what you are right, I will always know that ARMY have my back". I smiled.
"Cheers to you two and on your happiness, plus welcome to the family". He smiled back.
Jungkook and Joon friendship became one of a kind, You sneezed a couple of times sensing that someone is talking about you. After a week Joon entered the mandatory military service.
