When Issei slide into the boot the last thing he expected was to find himself landing face first into a sandy beach. With a groan, he pulled himself to his feet to see where he'd exactly landed and to his surprise he found himself on a relatively large luxury island surrounded by the sea that stretched on for as far as the eye could see. However, what stood out the most was the massive luxurious mansion located at the very center of the island.

(Ignore the arrow, I couldn't find an image without it. But yeah the image is for context as I couldn't find any better means of describing it.)

"Where... Am I?" He asked after a moment of stunned silence.

"You're in the Dimensional Gap." Answered a voice from beside him, startling Issei. His head jerked to the left to see who it was that spoke.

"Who are..." He started before freezing on shock. "But... But how are you here?!?! Weren't you sealed up alongside Trihexa?!?" He asked as he stared at the figure.

"Oh, that's easy." Azazel replied with a shrug. "I'm not really here but to put it in layman's terms I'm your subconscious and as to why I look like Azazel its because he was your mentor figure and had helped you with whatever questions you had." Azazel revealed.

"So you're a manifestation of my subconscious just like my trauma induced Raynard hallucinations that I had a while back." Issei summarised.

"Basically." Agreed Azazel.

"Alright but enough about that, what do you mean this is the Dimensional Gap? Cause I've seen what it looks like and this is not it." Issei said as he tried to make sense of what Azazel revealed.

"Oh that's simple, this is part of the Dimensional Gap and one that's been locked away for some time so neither Great Red or Ophis knows about it. Now as to the reason it looks like it does, well that's simple really, it's a conceptual plain so it drew from your subconscious to make something more manageable. Or as some people would say and I quote 'It's magic bullshit, it doesn't have to make sense.'" Azazel explained. "Of course it can't make a full world however so to make the infinite void more comprehensive it's made itself look like a seemingly endless ocean with clear sky but I'll have you know that this place does have a day/night cycle and inclement weather so don't expect it be clear blue sky's every time."

"Well, I guess that makes sense..." Issei said as he struggled to comprehend what his subconscious had told him. "Wait... How can I leave this place?" He asked as he realised that he didn't know how to leave.

"Oh that's easy, it's the same way you came in and now that you've come here, you can willingly enter this place from any where so long as you have some form of door way to enter it like the one behind you." Azazel revealed as he gestured to something behind Issei.

Turning his head, Issei found himself looking at a ladder leading up to a black square hole in the sky. "That's how I can leave?!" He asked incredulously.

"Well... Depending on what you used to come here, the exit will change and because you used the boot of your car well you can clearly see what it looks like." Azazel revealed.

"Is there anything else that I should know about?" Issei asked as he turned around to face his mentor.

"Not really no but I should tell you that this place does have some limits to what it can do. Other than, the house itself has everything you want, a dedicated gameroom, multiple bed rooms that will change to better suit itself to whoever occupies it, a garage which is where all your vehicles will go whenever their not in use, a kitchen with all the cooking materials you could ever want, a wardrobe, a training room, a weapons room, a basketball court, a jacuzzi and two swimming pools." Azazel revealed.

"Didn't you just say that there was nothing else that I needed to know before going on to reveal even more about the place?" Issei deadpanned before turning to the ladder and started climbing it.

Meanwhile, on outside of the Dimensional Gap.

Ravel and Kunou were currently worrying about Issei as they patiently waited infront of the car boot. "I hope he's okay." Kunou said as she clasped her hands in worry.

"It's Issei, you know that he'll survive whatever's thrown at him." Ravel said as she tried to reassure the young Yokai.

"Hey guys!" Issei greeted as his head suddenly popped out of the car boot.

"Kyaaa!" The girls screeched as the clutched each other in surprise. However, their surprise quickly turned to anger and Issei was suddenly met with two fists to his face.

"Gahh!" He cried out in pain, nearly tumbling off the ladder in other process.

"Don't do that!" Ravel cried out in anger as Kunou angrily glared at him. "Do you know how worried we were?!" She yelled out as Issei looked down in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry girls. I didn't mean to scare you." He said before looking up at the girls. "But don't worry I can make it up to you!" He suddenly announced as the girls anger quickly turned to confusion.

"Huh, what do you mean?" Ravel asked as she looked at him in confusion.

"You'll have to see it to believe it!" He stated before slowly re-entering the car boot as one of his hands slowly beckoned them to follow.

The girls looked at each other before Kunou shrugged and stepped into the boot with Ravel following in suite.

"Where are we?" Ravel asked in awe as she looked at her new surroundings as Kunou sniffed at the air in curiosity, her ears twitching at the sound of the ocean behind her.

Issei spread his arms out, "Welcome to the Dimensional Gap and our newfound place of operations!" He revealed.

Once the girls had gotten over their initial shock, they, alongside Issei, began to explore their new home. The first thing they checked was the kitchen.

Following on from that, they discovered the living room that they all found rather difficult to leave especially with how comfy the sofa was.

Next, they had found the bathrooms which they were surprised by how large they were and by their variety.

Finally, the trio had found the bedrooms and they were rather surprised by what they had found.

With sighs of relief, the trio wandered into their respective bedroom having noticed that they had fresh cloves at the ready.

After changing into a fresh set of clothes the trio left their respective rooms and resumed their exploration of the mansion. During which they came across the game room, the sports room, the trophy room, the armoury which contained all of the weapons Issei had gained during his journey, the garage that housed his bike, a movie room, a music room, a hot tube, an indoor swimming pool, and a training room.

By the time they finished exploring the mansion it already turned night time so they decided to make themselves dinner, take a bath and go to bed.

Much to their surprise, they found that the kitchen could automatically make whatever food they desired to which Issei mused that it was rather pointless to have a kitchen if they weren't going to need it. With that in mind, the trio decided on a nice simple homemade pepperoni pizza.

(So sue me I'm a big fan of pepperoni pizzas.)

After finishing their food the trio retreated to their respective rooms to enter their private bathrooms before heading off to bed. Unfortunately, only one room was used that night as both Kunou and Ravel decided to sleep in Issei's bed. As the girls slept, Issei quietly mused over the fact that their own rooms were probably only there for formalities.

Eventually, he to fell asleep as he drew both girls close to him in a tight embrace.

Two months had passed, since then and the trio had passed since than and the trio had fallen into a comfortable routine. Issei would leave the interdimensional mansion to continue their journey while Ravel and Kunou switch out on who should go out to stay with him before they all retreat into the mansion to rest.

During the two months, the trio had come across all kinds of animals, some of which they were forced to rescue, now they were the proud carers of a golden retriever, a black Siamese kitten, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel puppy, a Border Collie and a wolf pup.

In addition to that, Issei and Ravel had spent time practicing with their powers with Ravel quickly mastering her new powers with ease. As for Issei, while he couldn't fully access his Eikonic form, he did find that he could use a lesser version of it that pushes his body past its limits for a temporary time. Dubbing the form Limit Breaker, Issei has as used the form every now again should the situation call for it.

During this time, Issei had also gained two new vehicles, a 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 called the Inferno Chaser and a Chevy Camaro Type-Copo called the Ember Rider.

In the meantime, Issei sighed in relief as he saw Tokyo city slowly start to come into view it looks they were finally halfway through their journey. "Oh thank god..." He breathed out as he drove ever closer to the city.

However, a strange feeling came over him as he passed by a destroyed village just outside the city. Stopping the Inferno Chaser, Issei left the car to explore the village to find whatever it was that gave him the strange feeling. Ravel, having felt what he felt, decided to tag along to provide any support if he need it.

With little effort, the pair had quickly found out was calling to them. An ancient building that looked as if it was only recently unearthed.

"What is this place?" Issei asked feeling a strange sense of familiarity from it.

"I don't know..." Ravel answered having never seen anything like it in the supernatural world.

"You want to go explore it?" He asked as he flashed his lover a cheeky grin.

"That's what people in horror movies would say. Right before being the first to die." Ravel replied looked somewhat hesitant.

"True but we have magic and weapons." Issei countered as he unsheathed the Rebellion.

Ravel, understanding what Issei was saying, nodded her head in determination. "Okay, I'm ready when you are."

With that the pair began their slow decent into the ancient structure.

Okay, not my best work by far but here.

So you might have questions about the base so here:
I based how you get to the base off of God Of War Ragnarok's main base of operations where they used the Bifrost tree to visit. I've just expanded on it by using anything that has an entrance to like car boots and doors.
Than, I've based how the base itself work off of the TARDIS from Doctor Who. So it'll constantly expand and design new rooms for whoever joins. So it's somewhat sentient just enough to cater to the desires of whomever lives there.

Next chapter is called "Revelations" and oh boy will there be a big lore drop in that one. I've got big reveals ready for it and everything. Well... That's it's for now hope you enjoyed this somewhat of a filler chapter and the small timeskip. The next chapter will be better I promise.
